''Life's tough.....it's even tougher if you're stupid.''
~ John Wayne

Nothing bugs me more than organizations created for a certain ethnic or religious group which exists only to further their own self-interests. I believe they are dividing our country. We should pay more attention. I think they take away from the spirit of America.

I’m more concerned now than when I started on an adventure nearly three years ago to educate myself more fully about issues that could affect our future security.

I first became alarmed when I heard on the radio that a government owned company in the Middle East was planning to manage a number of American ports. WHAT??? Why weren't Americans doing this vital task? I was shocked to say the least.

This was just the beginning, I was soon to find out.

I began to look into threats against our country's vital interests. As I developed my research skills, what I found caused me great concern - not for me personally but for the future generations of Americans.

This curiosity has now became a full blown obsession.

The growth of Islam in America is one issue that has gotten my attention. I am not a fan of Islam, having studied it for two years now. It's a deeply disturbing religion to me. This is my opinion based on my own research. This is a religion that allows its followers to lie in order to gain advantage over others.

I often write about issues regarding Islam that are troubling. I believe with all my heart we are in the fight of our lives against Islamism - the pursuit of Islamic rule.

Having said all this, I approach this subject matter with the goal to find its everlasting peace and tolerance for all. So far I have not been able to find it.

I created a website as a result in mid 2006. Then a twice-monthly newsletter was started and sent out to my "test group". Gradually, strangers were sending me e-mails asking to sign up as they heard about my newsletters. In June, 07, I created this blog. I'm a Christian, an American, a parent and a grandparent. I'm not a Republican or a Democrat.

Right now it seems neither party is "for the people" anymore. While none of us have a crystal ball, we certainly must educate ourself more on issues that threaten our future more than ever before.

In the past we didn't really have to think about these things. Now, it is totally different.

I, like you, just assumed our Congress was working for us, you know - the citizerns of the United States. Now, I believe Congress has been corrupted and is largely controlled by big corporations. This has been going on for some time now. There are, of course, a few good guys up there; Senator Tom Coburn, Congressmen Duncan Hunter, Pete King, and Ted Poe, for example.

The issues we face are serious and have the potential to led us, the citizens of this fine country, into serious times since it appears the interests of big business is being taken care of in Washington while the citzens are largely being ignored, it seems. Congress might well be seriously dysfunctional because of this influence. You better wake up.

Unfortunately, most of us simply don’t have hours to spend each day doing what I do, finding what I find. And for me, many blogs seems to be either too far to the left or too far to the right. I just wants to find out what's the truth.

In some ways my obsession is a blessing but in other ways it's a curse because it is all consuming and never ending. The more I dig, the more troubling the findings are which is not what I wanted my research to uncover. I wanted just the opposite to happen. So now, as a result, I must know what is going on in our country beyond what we hear on the TV.

What I have found and continue to find troubles me, yet there are signs of hope, too.

I’ve narrowed down the subjects I research to several major areas such as the growth of Islam in the U.S. and the world and its unmistakable ties to the Muslim Brotherhood in many instances, national security, and or course, our dysfunctional Congress.

For the protection of my family, I use a pseudonym.
