CAIR Oklahoma Director thanks Peter Bergen for downplaying the Muslim Brotherhood!

Wow!  Talk about being a shill for an Islamic supremacist group.  Last night on CNN's Piers Morgan show Peter Bergen was briefly questioned about the danger of the Muslim Brotherhood.  Muneer Awad, the director of CAIR Oklahoma then tweeted a thanks to him and called critics fear-mongers.  Keep in mind, Bergen was ONLY asked about the Muslim Brotherhood.

CNN Transcript February 3rd Piers Morgan show:

"...MORGAN: Egyptian Vice President Omar Suleiman blames the Muslim Brotherhood for the violence in Cairo. But who are they? How dangerous are they? I'll ask Peter Bergen, CNN National Security Analyst and the author of "The Longest War." Peter, what are the answers? Tell me about the Muslim Brotherhood. I hear all sorts of opinions about them. In your expert opinion how extremist are they, how dangerous are they?

PETER BERGEN, CNN NATIONAL SECURITY ANALYST: Well, I don't think they're very dangerous at all, piers. You know, this is a group that's been around since the 1920s, certainly when it was founded in opposition to the British and certainly it had a terrorist ring in the 1950s, but over time, this is a group that is increasingly just engaged in normal politics.

And certainly, you know, some militants have been Muslim Brotherhood initially and have gone on to terrorist groups. But somebody like Ayman al Zawahiri, the number two in Al Qaeda, has written a book, an entire book criticizing the Muslim Brotherhood for mostly on the very simple reason that the Muslim Brotherhood engages in democratic politics which people in Al Qaeda thinks is against Islam..."

Bergen willfully ignored their support and creation of the terrorist group Hamas!  And, the man never mentioned their strong anti-American and anti-Israel believes along with their Islamic supremacy goals!

Amazing.  CAIR National was started by leaders of an overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhoood in the United State!  Helloo???  The Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine started Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood support it strongly.  Hamas is dedicated to destroying Israel for Islamic supremaacy.  The Muslim Brotherhood hates America too.  Read for yourself from a statement they made yesterday on their Arabic website (google can be set up to translate automatically):

"Movement called "the global anti-globalization and American hegemony and Zionism" all the Egyptian people to come out in massive demonstrations over the entire country for an indefinite period until the fall of the last deadly agents of the tyrant Mubarak.  ..that resistance is possible to defeat the occupation and colonialization projects and that the Arab armies must prepare for war, and retrieval of land...

The Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamic supremacist movement. Believe what they put in writing and not what their shills say. They despise democracies and religious freedom and to be a critic of it is certainnly not fear-mongering.
