Islam doesn't allow killing of "innocent people" Sheryl Siddiqui wrote in a commentary published in the Oklahoma Gazette on September 20th. Last year in another interview, Siddiqui claimed only God has the right to take life. I wonder if she would enlighten me and other misinformed and ignorant Okies just how The Atlas of Islamic Conquests, sold at Islamic bookstore in the U.S., fits in the context of her claim. I assume these Islamic battles for power involved fighting, which is messy and many people are often killed. Were these conquests islamically sanctioned or were they a stain that reflects badly on Islam's history? This book could be a useful resource about Islam's history of Islamism also referred to as political Islam and its belief in the relentless pursuit to spread Islam and gain power to enforce Islamic supremacy over a region or a country or an empire. Islamism dominated Islamic history. I've seen where lessons on caliphates were taught at Oklahoma mosques so they seem to be proud of this history of Islamic supremacy. More Americans should study how a long series of Islamic supremacist leaders, called caliphates, ruled over others.
And, we should question Muslims about this history. Likewise, the Muslim Brotherhood network that has been documented in America and those who support it are clearly fair game, too.
Siddiqui complained to the Gazette "locally escalating Islamophobia weigh heavily on our minds." Here she continued the blame others strategy of Hamas-linked CAIR. Siddiqui's been CAIR Oklahoma's board secretary since the chapter was started in 2007. What Siddiqui and other CAIR minions fail to do, over and over again, is to acknowledge Islamism which is what most people have justifiable concerns. Until they openly discuss Islamic supremacy and stop their "Islamophobia" whining bait and switch tactic, their actions, words, history and links to the Muslim Brotherhood will continue to be subject to criticism and rightly so. That doesn't mean CAIR doesn't have some legitimate concerns, at times, when others act hatefully towards Muslims - which is clearly wrong. But, they go too far when they try to surpress free speech which seems to impart a nasty sharia strictness where no one can criticize Islam.
Siddiqui said "The Muslim world is fighting the same enemy as America: al-Qaida, which is responsible for more deaths of Muslims than of Westerners." Ok. This is reasonable, on the surface, but then why does CAIR constantly fight efforts by law enforcement to proactively stop terror attacks from happening and stand with terrorists, both convicted and accused? Recently, their executive director, Nihad Awad even spoke out against the killing of al Qaeda leader Anwar Awlaki. Al Qaeda!
CAIR often speaks in slimy double-talk.
A well-known Islamist scholar, Yusef Qaradawi, linked to the Muslim Brotherhood and is considered its religious leader, has said "The establishment of the Islamic State is a Wajib (Obligatory) according to the Glorious Qur'an, the Purified Sunnah, and the history of Islam and its nature." After 9/11 the Islamic Society of Tulsa, of which Siddiqui is the spokeswoman, quoted Qaradawi in their written statement where he said the attacks were wrong but then complained Muslims were the real victims because of the evil Israelis. His words are quite meaningful to a good number of American Muslims and this is concerning. Have you noticed how many Muslims really do hate Israel? This is part of the ideology of Islamism. These people want control of this area again just like when it was under the control of caliphates for centuries. Remember, Palestine was a territory of the Islamic supremacist Ottoman Empire.
Let's briefy review a few documents that tied CAIR to the Muslim Brotherhood. A 1993 Palestine Committee document confirms it was formed by the Muslim Brotherhood (U.S. vs. HLF, Exhibit 003-0017). They wrote of the Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP) on page 8. In a 1994 written agenda of a Palestine Committee meeting it listed CAIR, IAP and other MB organizations. They wrote America was the ideal location to support their movement worldwide. A few paid checks from Hamas leader Mousa Marzook were made out to the Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP). Marzook, who use to live in the U.S. is a top Hamas leader today living in excile in Syria. The IAP leaders who left this association and started CAIR were Nihad Awad, their executive director, and Omar Ahmad (Ahmed) who has since resigned. Ahmed is well-know for his statement in 1998 declaring the Quran should be the highest authority in the U.S. Islamism.
CAIR leaders are vehemently anti-Israel. And, they often use Iranian TV to air their verbal assaults against the U.S., particularly to blast the U.S. efforts on counter-terrorism or to claim Americans are so Islamophobic, which they say is rampant here. CAIR Oklahoma's director, Muneer Awad recently tweeted the FBI radicalized more terrorists that al Qaeda's Anwar Awlaki (see my last post). I see him as having an worrisome attitude and the same political ideology as the Muslim Brotherhood leaders who started CAIR.
Remember CAIR National recently lost their tax-exempt status for failing to submit IRS paperwork about their funding, which remains in question today. Each chapter separately maintains their own tax-exempt status. CAIR National was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest Hamas terror-funding trial in U.S. history in 2007. CAIR clearly has a long and troubled history and should be scrutinized. According to the FBI, the reason they broke off their relations was "due to the failure of CAIR to answer our questions about a connection between their executives and Hamas, a designated terrorist organization (Edmond Sun 3/6/2010: What’s the truth about CAIR?).
No one should be criticized for concerns they have about Islamism. Americans see everyday the effect this ideology has on young men who attack and kill others for their Islamic cause. However, there a far more non-violent Islamists than there are terrorists - both share a similar religious supremacist ideology. Siddiqui and others associated with CAIR appear bent on denying Islamism exists today or in Islam's lengthly history but, fortunately, there will be more and more educated Oklahomans and Americans who know better and will challenge them.
Surely, Siddiqui didn't suggest concerns about Islamism is Islamophobic. Or, did she?

Detailed overview of their plans to destroy America for Islamic supremacy. CAIR was formed by leaders of the Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP), an overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood (court documents). IAP was listed in their plans along with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and a number of other organizations. Many mosques in America are affiliated with ISNA.
