Michael Aziz Gipson, CAIR OK Board Chair charges with mortgage conspiracy

Michael Aziz Gipson, CAIR Oklahoma's Board Chair up until just a few days ago, was in court yesterday to plead not guilty to charges of conspiracy, wire fraud and money laundering in connection with fraudulent mortgages.  The alleged acts took place before Gipson was elected to the Chairman position last year.  It's unclear if he was part of CAIR Oklahoma from its beginning in 2007 but one surely doesn't go from zero involvement to Board Chair overnight.  It also appears he was under investigation while he served as board chair.
