I was just wondering...

In an article published on June 26th, three days before the failed London car bombs, the  U.S. warned Germany that Europe is under an increased threat of terror attacks because of instability in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

..."The (classified) document warns of a high likelihood that terror attacks have been planned in several European countries, including Germany. The study said al-Qaida was "logistically and financially" very strong and compared the current situation in Europe to that of the time before the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001".

On June 4th the U.S. also warned the Philippines of terror related concerns. The timing of these alerts from the U.S. to Europe is noteworthy. Obviously, it appears our government is doing something right.  Yes!

Coincidentally, the failed London attacks came on the heels of the sentencing of 7 Islamic terrorists who were planning "colossal and unprecedented scale" attacks in the U.S. and Britain!

Presidential praise for the freedom of religion

Today President Bush went to the Islamic Center of Washington extending peace, friendship and mutual respect between Muslims and all people.

..."This is what freedom offers: societies where people can live and worship as they choose without intimidation, without suspicion, without a knock on the door from the secret police. The freedom of religion is the very first protection offered in America's Bill of Rights. It is a precious freedom. ...In the Middle East, we have seen instead the rise of a group of extremists who seek to use religion as a path to power and a means of domination  ...America has stood with Muslims seeking to freely practice their beliefs in places such as Burma and China. ....Men and women of conscience have a duty to speak out and condemn this murderous movement before it finds its path to power. We must help millions of Muslims as they rescue a proud and historic religion from murderers and beheaders who seek to soil the name of Islam..."

In this speech the President announced an envoy he will assign to an global Islamic advancement organization which seems to contradict his very message since many member states of this Islamic organization do not allow freedom of religion.  Obviously, I've got to be missing something in his message.

"Our goal is clearly NOT to find a U.S Worker"

Where are all the moderate Muslims in Tulsa?

Recently, the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the up-coming Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial in Dallas along with the Islamic Society of North America, the Islamic Trust of North America, and several other groups and individuals because of their relationship to or with the Muslim Brotherhood and/or Hamas.  The Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamists organization which is banned in Egypt.  The U.S. generally will not do business with them.  CAIR is an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhodd/Hamas infrastructure in America. For a complete list of all the unindicted co-conspirators click here. 

Around this time, CAIR announced plans to open an office in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Good Grief!  I read that Sheryl Siddiqui, Director for American Outreach/Community Relations for the Islamic Society of Tulsa, was named the Secretary for CAIR Oklahoma.  Lebna Hewedi is the chairwoman for CAIR-OK.

Siddigui is a member of the Islamic Society of Tulsa.  She is highly involved with community service in the Tulsa area.  It's more than a little disturbing to read of her involvement with CAIR.

The incorporating papers of the Islamic Society of Tulsa how  Mujeeb Cheema, who is the Executive Director of the North American Islamic Trust - the same organization named above as an unindicted co-conspirator.  There's more information that you can review about Cheema at Batesline.  Cheema is also a business associate with Muzammil H. Siddiqi, Chairman of the NAIT and Chairman of the Fiqh Council of North America an outgrowth of the Muslim Student Association started by the Muslim Brotherhood!  It's purpose is to help Muslim in North America about matters related to the application of Sharia Law.  What? Sharia law in America?  Does this mean Muslims here do not want to become fully involved in our society?

If you get a chance,  read about the history of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States.  This document outlines their infiltration into our country which included setting up military training camps in Oklahoma!  

Muslim Brotherhood operatives are in America living among us.  I'm not saying anyone in Oklahoma is one but some of their affiliations and associations are connected to the Muslim Brotherhood so one clearly has to wonder.

These Islamists work to advance their cause by lobbying politicians, intimidating the media with Islamophobic accusations, using the legal system, advancing novel legislation, influencing the contents of school textbooks, participating in interfaith meetings and in other ways exploiting the freedoms of an open society to their advantage. They will advance their agenda in incremental steps, each of which in itself is minor but in total will change our society.  How do you tell who is an Islamist?  It's not easy because they hide this fact but pay attention to their associations.  Islamists will not acknowledge that Islamism, the pursuit of Islamic rule, is real.  Islamists will derail efforts to distinquish this as an attack on Islam.

CAIR was started by three employees of the Islamic Association of Palestine or IAP another Muslim Brotherhood organization.  Ibrahim Hooper, Nihad Awad, and Omar Ahmad, all were employees of the Islamic Association for Palestine(IAP), which was established by senior Hamas operative Mousa Abu Marzook and Sami Al-Arian and functioned as Hamas' public relations and recruitment arm in the United States. Two of these employees were caught on FBI tapes planning or attending a meeting with HAMAS.  All three are still in top leadership positions at CAIR. 

IAP was shut down by the federal government for their work with terror groups and organizations.

CAIR characterized the extradition of Maraook as "anti-Islamic" and "anti-American." in a May 1996 press conference.  CAIR labled Marzook's incarceration a hate crime in a 1996 report!

Jamal Miftah use to go to the mosque at the Islamic Society of Tulsa. As most people know, this Tulsa Muslim spoke out against Islamic violence last fall but was called anti-Islamic by some members of this mosque. This was the time when his mosque could have and should have stood by him in unity for all to see.  What a magnificent statement they would have made collectively to the citizens of Tulsa. But this didn't happen.  The treatment he received was so bad, Miftah has not returned. 

In an interview with Erick Stakelbeck Miftah said:

..."He now leads his family in prayer at their home. But he still wants the mosque to apologize for calling him anti-Islamic". Jamal also stated "the Imam of the al-Salam Mosque led prayers supporting Hamas and Hezbollah during last summer's clash between Hezbollah and Israel".

I was ridiculed by one of the leader of IST Mujeeb Cheema, who reacted to my article by commenting on my size in the Muslim community in the US (published in Tulsa World of December 1, 2006)---After the prayers and a small lecture by one of the member of IST, I was meeting and chatting with other members of society when the Imam of the mosque, Ahmad Kabbani, approached me and said to me that I should be ashamed for writing the article.---Houssam Elsouessi approached me along with two other Arabs. He started accusing me in a very loud voice of being anti-Islamic and anti-Muslim with the very apparent motive of inciting other members of the community against me.  One of his companions waved his shoe at my face and said that I was a traitor and no better then his shoes, while Houssam kept calling me anti-Muslim and almost pushed me to the wall.

This past Friday, his attorney filed a lawsuit against the mosque naming Sheryl Siddiqui and Mujeeb Cheema as defendants along with others.  Thanks to quick posts by BatesLine and KOTV News who broke this story.

Isn't this fascinating? Yet deeply disturbing that in "little old" Tulsa, Oklahoma, there may be a connection to HAMAS, which seeks to destroy Israel, and their parent, the Muslim Brotherhood, who wants to destroy America. Unbelievable.

I know I will feel a whole lot better when we hear from our neighbors in Tulsa who belong to the mosque in question. Please don't be shy, we need to hear from you.

Update 10/2007:  The Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial ended in a mistrial and is rescheduled for retrial Sept 2008. The ISNA issued this statement where they deny any affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood and have retained the ACLU to help them get their names removed from the list of unindicted co-conspirators.

Update 7/13/08:  The Islamic Society of Tulsa still remains silent about their relationships to known organizations and individuals affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, including Jamal Badawi, a Muslim Brotherhood member, whom they personally invited to represent them in a debate in January 2008.

He has a U.S. doctorate in engineering and was indicted in the United States in 2004 as a co-conspirator on racketeering and money-laundering charges in connection with activities on behalf of Hamas dating to the early 1990s, before the organization was placed on the list of terrorist groups. He was deported to Jordan in 1997.

Is There Radical Islamic Teaching in Some American Mosques?

In a recent zTruth newsletter,  a new project by a group called "Mapping Shari'a Law" was highlighted (10th bullet).  Their purpose is to infiltrate mosques throughout the United States to determine if any of these mosques are encouraging or teaching extremism.  Their early findings were reported on June 13, 2007, and are far reaching and staggering, if true:

“Our initial investigation has concluded there are between 400 to 500 radical Islamic centers in the U.S.,” said David Gaubatz, the director of counterintelligence and counterterrorism for the Society of Americans for National Existence.

This would be the biggest betrayal of Americans ever.

Dear Senator ______

I'm writing you to express my deep concern about the illegals who have been invading our country for some time now.  Is it too much to expect that our government execute its primary obligation to its citizens by  enforcing the laws that are already on the books to protect us from this invasion of foreign nationals.  No more stupid ill-conceived new laws.  Enough.  We are done.   Secure our borders and hold employers accountable for hiring illegals as you promised you would do in 1986. Its so unthinkable that in America these invaders can steal the identity of citizens of the United States, yet I, a citizen, cannot inquire to see if someone is using my social security number.  And some in Congress want to give Social Security credit to these lawbreakers? It's not at all surprising that the polls show such disfavor with Congress.  We have lost faith in your words because they are not followed through with action. There is an old saying; "Action speaks louder than words.  How true this is.   We are near anarchy in our country because of this invasion. What other nation would allow illegals to march in their streets demanding rights they have no right to demand while carrying the flag of another country?  All the while they are marching many have our stolen ID neatly tucked in their pockets.  I cannot believe I am even having to write this because I would never have thought this would happen here. 

My appeal to American Muslims about Islam

Muslims in America want to convince us Islam is a religion of peace, right?  Often they use part of a verse from the Koran that says to kill one person is like killing all of mankind. This is verse 5.32 which was directed to the children of Israel from the Bible which was retold in the Koran.  Given the often violent history in the Middle East that has gone since the inception of Islam, particularly with Muslims killing each other, our own decades long history with Islamic pirates when America was born, and the world-wide Islamic movement in today times,  we are left wondering where is the peace?   With this in mind, American Muslims have to understand why we find it difficult to put our arms around their messages of peace.  We have been in Iraq trying to bring forth a democracy yet four years later there's an unending supply of young men willing to blow themselves up for Allah!  Muslims overwhelmingly want us out of there.  Isn't a democracy better than Islamic rule?  I think there is some explaining to do.  Every day we hear about the continuing killing of Muslims by Muslims.  This just doesn't seem to speak too well for this religion of peace.  Do you see why we have concerns?

America's early struggle against Islamic aggression

For the longest time I thought the main Islamic fight against the West had to do with our support of Israel. This is what we've been told by many Muslim leaders throughout the world.  Aren't we hard pressed to find Islamic leaders and Imams in America that openly denounce the works of the terrorist group Hezbollah and Hamas in their fight against Israel?  Yes, they denounce terrorism and violence but have you heard anyMuslim specifically said Hamas or Hezbollah who opening say they want Israel to be destroyed?  This fact, in and of itself is troubling,  but there is more you need to know. 

The First Global Peace Index

On May 30th, the first Global Peace Index was published.  It studied 121 countries.  Not at all surprising, Iraq was ranked the worst country for peace and Norway was ranked the most peaceful.

The main findings of the Global Peace Index were:

  — Peace is correlated to indicators such as income, schooling and the level of regional integration
    — Peaceful countries often shared high levels of transparency of government and low corruption
    — Small, stable countries which are part of regional blocs are most likely to get a higher ranking

The good ole USA came in at 96 out of 121.  What pulled the US down was, of course,  the war in Iraq and its large military expenditure based on GDP.  However, our GDP spending for the military is really small at around 4% for 2005.  Perhaps the 4% spending of GDP was high compared to other countries but I don’t think it is unreasonably high.

Is this part of the price we pay for trying to secure the world from Global Islam?  Oh, I see you don’t agree with me.  Well stay tune.

The Beginning

Oh brother, I’m more worried now than I was a year ago when I started this adventure.  You see I became alarmed a little over a year ago when I heard on the radio (Glenn Beck) that a government owned company in the Middle East may be managing a number of American ports.  It atartled me enough to call my father from my cell phone while I was still driving and discuss what I had just heard.  I was shocked to say the least.  This was the beginning.  The beginning of an obsession and the beginning of the realization that American citizens could unite together through the power of the Internet.  Awesome!

I began to look into things that were of vital interest to our country.  Daily, as I worked to develope my research and writing skills.  What I uncovered caused me concern - not for me personally but for our future generations of America.    My curiosity then became a full blown obsession.
