New Ohio Imam: Day of Judgment is that "the Muslims will kill the Jews."
The Islamic Center of Celevand, Ohio can't seem to hire an Imam without a troubling past; their former Imam, Fawaz Damra, was deported:
"No sooner did Ohio's largest mosque announce Ahmed Alzaree's hiring last month, than bloggers posted a portion of a 4-year-old end-times sermon in which the imam quoted the Prophet Muhammad saying one sign of the approach of the Day of Judgment is that "the Muslims will kill the Jews." Alzaree was stunned by the ensuing uproar. The Islamic Center of Omaha took his sermons off its Web site as allegations circulated on the Internet that Alzaree associated with an Egyptian cleric suspected of having terrorist ties..."

On Monday, the blog, Central Ohioans Against Terrorism reports the Imam in question has quit:
..."the Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting that Alzaree has thrown in the towel: Imam Ahmed Alzaree announced Monday, three days before he was to start work as the spiritual leader of the Islamic Center of Cleveland, that he was resigning.
Alzaree said allegations by bloggers that he was anti-Semitic and was associated with individuals suspected of having terrorist ties so poisoned the atmosphere in Northeast Ohio that he and his wife, Marwa, decided to look elsewhere."
What Alzaree couldn't stand is the public scrutiny. Having to answer hard questions. And he had three separate articles by the Plain Dealer in his defense.
The local media did nothing to bring the truth to light. Had these bloggers not spent considerable time researching this Imam, he would be starting his job in a couple days."
What would he have been teaching? I think you know the answer.
