Muslim pirates in standoff with U.S. Navy - Russian ships welcomed!
Well, the latest ship seized by Islamic pirates ought to be interesting to follow. Have you noticed most media leave off the accurate and descriptive word "Islamic" before pirate in their reports?
...President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed "gave permission for Russian ships to enter the sea (off Somalia) and fight the pirates in the sea and on the coast," ambassador Mohammed Mahmud Handule said at a press conference in Moscow.
Handule spoke as a Russian warship headed to the African country's coast amid a standoff between the US Navy and Somali pirates over a hijacked Ukrainian cargo ship carrying tanks and other arms.
The ambassador criticised the activities of foreign warships off Somalia, although he did not name any countries.
Update: 4:52 PM CT: France, Germany and six other European Union governments say they will deploy additional warships off the coast of Somalia to fight piracy as soon as next month.
Attacks by pirates have surged this year off Somalia, and are running at close to one a day. Commercial shippers have warned they may start routing cargo around Africa, passing the added fuel and time costs on to clients, according to Bloomberg.
Say Red, I agree with the sentiment, but the bad guys here are not facist. The definition of facist is the marriage of industry and state. They should be more correctly called islamo-commies. Facists apply to Bush, Chaney and associated suck ups. Include there the greedy _hores that caused the current economic melt down and 3 trillion $ increased debt. Question, if Somolia wants help, why have not these other ships intervened? I do not follow.

I noticed the same thing when I heard it on the news earlier... they conveniently just use the word "Pirates"... leaving off the Islamic fascist throat-slashing terrorist part. But the media isn't biased at all.
