A soft-spoken Muslim woman tried to slit her husband's throat as he slept - enraged that he made her eat pork and wear sexy skirts, officials said.
"It's time for you to die!" screamed Rabia Sarwar as she pounced on hubby Sheikh Naseem, sources said.
He woke early Wednesday to find her straddling his chest and hacking at his neck with a knife.
...Sarwar was released on $25,000 bail after being arraigned yesterday on attempted murder rap charges. She claimed "months of emotional abuse and duress," sources said. Cops had no record of domestic abuse complaints against Naseem.
Wednesday's death of a Detroit area Imam who refused to surrender to the FBI was called entrapment by a group of Detroit Muslim leaders who met with the FBI:
Muslim leaders from metro Detroit said at a meeting today with the FBI and U.S. Attorney's Office that the shooting death of a Detroit imam was a case of entrapment involving unreliable informants who targeted poor Detroiters.
Imam Abdullah El-Amin, head of the Muslim Center of Detroit, said he was one of about 20 imams who attended the 90-minute meeting this afternoon with FBI Detroit Special Agent in Charge Andrew Arean and U.S. Attorney Terrence Berg.
Federal authorities claim that Luqman Ameen Abdullah – shot dead Wednesday by FBI agents during a shootout – was a violent extremist bent on attacking the U.S. government and establishing Islamic rule.
But local Muslims told FBI officials at the meeting today that the criminal complaint reveals a case involving undercover informants who pushed Abdullah and his followers to deal in stolen fur coats, laptop computers and a couple of other minor crimes.
Meanwhile, the FBI arrested the slain Imam's son today.
The Muslim Alliance in North America (MANA website) today released a statement expressing "deep sadness and concern" about the shooting death Wednesday of a Muslim imam during an FBI raid.
...The National Community or “Ummah” was established by Imam Jamil Al-Amin (formerly known as H. Rap Brown). It is an association of mosques in several cities in the U.S. that coordinates religious and social services primarily in the Black American community. Reference to the “Ummah” as a “nation-wide radical fundamentalist Sunni group consisting primarily of African-Americans” is an offensive mis-characterization...
Dalia Mogahed is hardly an Islamic expert, in any sense of the word. While she serves on President Obama's Faith Based Advisory Council her day job is that of a pollster.
The United Nations is reported to be evacuating its non-essential personnel after the Taliban killed 5 of their foreign employees in Kabul, Afghanistan yesterday:
...The official decision at today’s meeting was that individual UN agencies should decide whether to advise “non-essential” staff not involved in the run-off to take leave, according to two participants.
But UN officials told The Times that many of the roughly 1,000 foreign UN staff not working directly on the election had been instructed to return to their home countries for the next three weeks because of the security threat in Kabul.
“The problem is the places where we live,” one said. “No one feels safe.” Most of the foreign UN staff in Kabul live in small hotels and guesthouses like the one that was attacked by a Taleban suicide squad on Wednesday, and security arrangements at all of them are now under review.
UN staff were particularly concerned that the Taleban appeared to have such detailed information about the guesthouse, many of whose residents were directly involved in organising the election...
Islamists are trying to gain ground all over the world. In Malaysia, one has to wonder if a more Islamists hard-line form of Islam is taking hold in the government as thousands of Bibles were seized in recent months because they containe to word Allah instead of God. The Malaysian goverment has banned non-Muslims from using the word Allah.
A man with a hand gun entered the Adat Yeshurun Valley Sepharic synagogue in North Hollywood just after 6 AM this morning. The man then shot two men believed to be jewish, apparently, in their legs as they went for prayer. They are in stable condition at a local hospital.
...Keezer says for 19 months, ever since he started working as a cashier at The Home Depot in Okeechobee, he’s worn a button with an American flag on it that reads: “One nation under God, indivisible.”
...For more than a year, Keezer says none of his managers mentioned the button on his Home Depot apron, except one supervisor who commented she liked it.
“She actually wanted to wear it,” Keezer said.
Then, last month, when he started bringing his Bible to work, Keezer says his manager confronted him about the button.
“That’s when I was told it had to come off, or I would be sent home. So they sent me home for six straight days without pay. And then today they terminated me,” he said.
“I want to be a voice for the rest of the Christians and for the citizens of this country to stand up for the country. You know, quit being told to sit down. Say what you want to say and don’t be afraid of the consequences,” he said.
Treavor should file a complaint with the EEOC since Home Depot might have violated his religious freedom.
October was the worst month for U.S. soldier casualties in the entire eight year war in Afghanistan. His top commander, Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, the top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan, requested 40,000 more troops in August.
So what does President Obama do? Well, according to the Washing Post, he ordered a study:
President Obama has asked senior officials for a province-by-province analysis of Afghanistan to determine which regions are being managed effectively by local leaders and which require international help, information that his advisers say will guide his decision on how many additional U.S. troops to send to the battle.
...The review group once included intelligence officials, generals and ambassadors, but it has recently narrowed to a far smaller number of senior civilian advisers, including Biden, Gates, Jones, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, among others.
...Even after weeks of review, administration officials say a range of options is still under consideration, including whether additional U.S. forces could be deployed in phases. Although Obama had been expected to announce his decision before leaving Nov. 11 on a 10-day trip to Asia, administration officials say he may wait until he returns...
McChrystal was asked to justify his troop request, according to the report.
The Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) ongoing efforts to stop criticism of Islam reached a new peak today when they collided with the Obama Administration and claimed their resolutions are now existing international convenants! Warnings from various organizations about this have been ongoing for several years!
The OIC is trying to apply Sharia law on non-Muslim countries. They seek ultimately to get criticism of Islam banned down at the local level world-wide with a binding treaty. If successful, it will make the Islamists job easier as they push forward to create Sharia law villages, cities, states, and countries.
The world needs to wake up.
In response to the Obama administration’s comments that an Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) resolution condemning religious defamation was a violation of human rights, the OIC has said the resolution is based on existing international covenants.
Michael Posner, assistant secretary of state for human rights, democracy and labor, recently said that an OIC resolution that was handed to the UN’s Human Rights Council “goes too far.”
“The notion that a religion can be defamed and that any comments that are negative about that religion can constitute a violation of human rights to us violates the core principle of free speech,” he said.
However, OIC Secretary-General Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu said that the OIC position on defamation of religions was based on existing international covenants which have outlined limits to freedom of opinion and expression in cases of incitement to hatred on religious grounds.
He added that for the last 10 years OIC-sponsored resolutions on the defamation of religion have been passed by the General Assembly in New York and the Human Rights Council in Geneva.
The text of these resolutions has evolved over the years and, in its current form, is not restricted to Islam but denounces defamation of all religions, he said. “It is important to note that passage of these resolutions by a majority vote beyond the membership of the OIC lends international legitimacy to the OIC position on this issue,” Ihsanoglu said.
If you recall, the Obama Administration partnered with this Islamist organization to fight polio earlier this year. But that didn't stop Hillary Clinton from speaking up against the OIC goal, as well.
The Saudi-based OIC is a caliphate in the making. It is the 2nd largest inter-governmental organization in the world. Only the U.N. is larger. It is the largest Islamist organization.
United States Attorney Terrence Berg, Eastern District of Michigan, Andrew G. Arena, Special Agent in Charge (SAC), Federal Bureau of Investigation, (FBI), Detroit, Michigan, and Police Chief Warren Evans, Detroit Police Department (DPD), Detroit, Michigan announced a federal complaint was unsealed today charging Luqman Ameen Abdullah, a.k.a.Christopher Thomas, and 10 others with conspiracy to commit several federal crimes, including theft from interstate shipments, mail fraud to obtain the proceeds of arson, illegal possession and sale of firearms, and tampering with motor vehicle identification numbers.
The eleven defendants are members of a group that is alleged to have engaged in violent activity over a period of many years, and known to be armed.
During the arrests today, the suspects were ordered to surrender. At one location, four suspects surrendered and were arrested without incident. Luqman Ameen Abdullah did not surrender and fired his weapon. An exchange of gunfire followed and Abdullah was killed. An FBI canine was also killed during the exchange.
Abdullah was the leader of part of a group which calls themselves Ummah (“the brotherhood”), a group of mostly African-American converts to Islam, which seeks to establish a separate Sharia-law governed state within the United States.
The Ummah is ruled by Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin, formerly known as H. Rapp Brown, who is serving a state sentence in USP Florence, CO, ADMAX, for the murder of two police officers in Georgia.
...At the time of this release, Mujahid Carswell, Mohammad Alsahi and Yassir Ali Khan were still at large. Anyone with information regarding the location of these individuals should contact the FBI at (313) 965-2323.
Police are investigating the assault of a news photograper outside the mosque where Abdullah was Imam. Jon Wolman, editor and publisher of The Detroit News, called the incident "outrageous."
...Leaders of national American Muslim organizations, along with representatives from the community of Imam JamilAl-Amin, held a March 21 news conference at the Washington, DC office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in reaction to the March 20 arrest of Al-Amin, the former H. Rap Brown, in Alabama...
Valerie Jarrett, a senior advisor to President Obama was interviewed last night on CNN's Campbell Brown show.
While Jarrett was quick to call Fox News biased she stumbled when Brown asked a reasonable question about the anti-right bias so evident on MSNBC every single night.
Transcript:
Video clip:
VALERIE JARRETT, SENIOR PRESIDENTIAL ADVISER: We saw all of the distortions in the course of the summer, when people were coming down to town hall meetings and putting up signs that were scaring seniors to death, and we have seen commercials go up on television that are distorting the truth.
We're -- we are actually calling everybody out.
end of video clip
...BROWN: Officials have been very public about their feelings about FOX News and what they believe FOX News is and represents. And they made a point of coming out and saying it.
JARRETT: What we're saying is, is that we want the public to understand what's going on.
When we saw the kind of distortions this summer, particularly directed at seniors, over health care reform, it was really outrageous. And I think what the president said in his message before Congress is, we're going to speak directly to the American people and make sure that they understand the truth.
And so, certainly, if we see somebody distorting the truth, we're going to call them on the carpet for that. But we don't want to take our focus away from the core issues that are so important to the American people. Now, when there's all that chatter and distortion and false information, we have to disseminate -- we have to distinguish between truth and fiction.
BROWN: So do you think FOX News is biased?
JARRETT: Well, of course they're biased. Of course they are.
BROWN: OK. Then do you also think that MSNBC is biased?
JARRETT: Well, you know what? This is the thing. I don't want to -- actually, I don't want to just generalize all FOX is biased or that another station is biased.
I think what we want to do is look at it on a case-by-case basis. And when we see a pattern of distortion, we're going to be honest about that pattern of distortion.
BROWN: But you only see that at FOX News? That's all that -- you have spoken out about FOX News.
JARRETT: That's actually not true.
I think that what the administration has said very clearly is that we're going to speak truth to power. When we saw all of the distortions in the course of the summer, when people were coming down to town hall meetings and putting up signs that were scaring seniors to death, when we have seen commercials go up on television that are distorting the truth, we're actually calling everybody out.
So, this isn't something that's simply directed at FOX. We really just want the American people to have a clear understanding. There's so much at stake right now. We really don't have a lot of time for nonsense and distortions.
The American people are also smarter than that. Let them reach their own judgments based on the facts. Let's just take health care, for example. Reasonable people could differ about the right approach. So, let's have a conversation about that. Let's not scare people by telling them that things are going to happen that are actually not even on the table. Let's just talk about the facts.
That's pathetic. The heathcare reform actually includes cutting millions from a Medicare Advantage plan for seniors.
Any reasonable person knows that providing healthcare coverage for everybody for nearly everything will result in cuts or rationing of services because there isn't enough money to pay for it all. Everyone knows this will happen. And everyone with any common sense knows it will cost a lot more than they say it will.
Whoever at the White House who came up with this media control strategy should be fired.
Martyrdom is alive and thriving in the Islamic world and has gone on for month after month and year after year in our recent lifetime. Since this a tactic approved in the Quran to make gains for Islam, justice or the sake of Allah we are left wondering what attacks that have occurred were carried out according to strict Islamic law and which are not.
A few examples in the Quran and Hadith. More are listed at the bottom of this post.
YUSUFALI: It is He Who hath sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).
YUSUFALI: And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah; but if they cease, Let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression.
A man came to the Prophet and asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What kind of fighting is in Allah's cause? (I ask this), for some of us fight because of being enraged and angry and some for the sake of his pride and haughtiness." The Prophet raised his head (as the questioner was standing) and said, "He who fights so that Allah's Word (Islam) should be superior, then he fights in Allah's cause."
Since 9/11, Muslims have killed over 14,000 people for their cause.

Below is a video clip of Congressman Keith Ellison (i.e., Keith Hakim, Keith X Ellison and Keith Ellison Muhammad), the first Muslim elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, blasting concerns of conservative lawmakers about an internal CAIR document outlining their goals to influence Congress.
Terrorism-related charges were filed against two Chicago men today, accusing them of plotting against targets in Western Europe, including "facilities and employees" of a Danish newspaper that printed cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad that sparked riots in the Muslim world.
Charged are David Coleman Headley, 49,and Tahawwur Hussain Rana, 48, both of Chicago.
Headley was described as an American citizen who changed his name from Daood Gilani. He was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit terrorist acts involving murder and maiming outside the U.S. and one count of conspiracy to provide material support to the conspiracy, according to a release from the U.S. attorney's office.
Rana, a native of Canada, was charged with one count of conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign conspiracy involving Headley and three other individuals. Both men remain in federal custody, officials said.
The Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) is moving once again, through the U.N. Human Rights Council, to make criticism of religion (i.e., Islam) illegal. This time they are seeking "new binding normative standards." This organization is likely a caliphate in the making and their actions should not be ignored. Many member states of the OIC have permanent mission status at the U.N. The pending resolution is to be voted on in mid-November.
The OIC is proposing the development of "new binding normative standards relating to religious ideas, objects and positions while incorporating contemporary issues" such as "defamation of religions, religious personalities, holy books, scriptures and symbols"; "provocative portrayals of objects of religious veneration as a malicious violation of the spirit of tolerance"; "prohibition of the publication of gratuitously offensive attacks on matters regarded as sacred by the followers of any religion and ; "abuse of the right to freedom of expression in the context of racio-religious profiling".
OIC and the African group are also proposing that a new instrument shouldprovide for the "legal prohibition of publication of materials that negatively stereotypes, insults or uses of offensive language on matters regarded by followers of any religion or belief as sacred ..." and "legal restriction to public insults".
The Organization of the Islamic Conference, or OIC, has been pushing such anti-defamation measures in UN bodies. This year's State Department report placed China, Eritrea, Iran, Myanmar, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan among the worst violators of religious liberties...
In the months before 9/11, Ali al-Marri conspired with and provided support to Al Qaeda. He also admitted to meeting with two key planners of the attack and was named an "enemy combatant" of the U.S. by President George Bush. This week he will be sentenced:
...Marri pleaded guilty before a trial could begin, so while U.S. prosecutors have described at length his communications with al-Qaida leaders before 9/11, they have provided only a rough outline for what the soft-spoken Marri had planned when he arrived back in the U.S. on Sept. 10, 2001.
Those details could emerge in court Wednesday, when prosecutors push for a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison. Marri's attorneys are seeking a reduced sentence and credit for the eight years their client has remained in custody since his arrest on a credit card fraud charge in 2001. In 2003, while Marri was awaiting trial in Peoria, the Bush administration labeled him an "enemy combatant" and ordered him detained at a Navy brig in South Carolina without charge.
...Marri, a native of Qatar, lived in Peoria from 1983 to 1991, attending Bradley University and receiving a bachelor's degree in computer science.
...By the time Marri returned for a final time to the U.S., the day before the 9/11 attacks, prosecutors said he had already met with al-Qaida leaders Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Mustafa al-Hawsawi and been told to hide out in America while awaiting his orders...
Maximum sentence is only 15 years for conspiring with our enemy?
...It says that Obama does "hereby find and proclaim that, given that the rapid increase in illness across the Nation may overburden health care resources and that the temporary waiver of certain standard Federal requirements may be warranted in order to enable U.S. health care facilities to implement emergency operations plans, the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic in the United States constitutes a national emergency."
White House officials played down the dramatic-sounding language, saying the president's action was not prompted by a new assessment of the dangers posed to the public by the flu.
Instead, officials said the action provides greater flexibility for hospitals which may suddenly find themselves confronted with a surge of new patients as the virus sweeps through their communities...
The law enforcement officers, including FBI agents, immigration officials and state police, surrounded an Islamic meat plant in Kinsman, cordoning off the area and briefly detaining the plant's handful of employees.
The FBI isn't saying much, and the county sheriff is mum too, leaving Kinsman's residents mystified. The bust, in a town that has no local police force, involved dozens of vehicles, a pair of snipers and a helicopter flying overhead, witnesses said — but it ended without even a single arrest.
...But the two men listed as the proprietors of the business appear to be under scrutiny. A staff member at the First World Management office in Chicago identified Syed Hamid, 51, as an employee, and confirmed that Tahawara Hussain Rana, 48, is the owner of the business.
Residents believe Hamid lives in a house adjoining the shop in Kinsman and runs the slaughterhouse. Hamid, a doctor, has been in talks with a Chicago lawyer, George Jackson III, who told Foxnews.com he doesn't anticipate Hamid will be charged with a crime. Jackson said he and Hamid had spoken to investigators since the raid.
Rana's case isn't so clear. Jackson said he could not comment, and phone calls to the Rana household in Chicago went unanswered...
Iran State TV has revealed Iran rejected a uranium enrichment agreement today that was drafted by the U.N. and endorsed by the U.S., France, and Russia who had spent three days of talks with Iran this week to firm up the agreement.
Approval of this proposal would have been a victory for President Obama who believes diplomatic engagement and perhaps his charm is far superior to any other method.
"Though Iran was to respond by Friday, the International Atomic Energy Agency said Iran told it that while it was considering the plan in a favorable light it needed until the middle of next week to make a decision.
At a news briefing, State Department Spokesman Ian Kelly said the United States would obviously have liked to see an Iranian reply but is willing to give Tehran a few more days..."
Haven't "these few more days" situations with Iran gone on for years now?

Yesterday, the White House tried to ban Fox News from a press pool event. Four members of the pool, CNN, ABC, NBC and CBS said if they left Fox out they would leave! The White House trelented but reduced the interview time from 5 minutes to 2 minutes per reporter.
The action by the White House gives, what appears to be, their desire and attempt to become a dictatorship that controls the press. This is a clear violation of America's free press and is stunning.
Congratulations must be given to the news networks who stood up to the White House for what was right. Thank you.

Rachael Maddow bashes Republicans nightly on her opinion show on MSNBC. Recently, she joined the side of CAIR, an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America with a very long and troubling history, against several Republicans in Congress who produced aCAIR document outlining their plans to lobby and influence Congress! CAIR is not an IRS designated lobbying organization but a civil rights one.
Now on their part, CAIR has not denied this is their document, that I can find. Instead, they just gather their leftist partners who help them bash Republicans. This is how Islamists and the Dems severely damaged the reputation of President George Bush.
CAIR-OK issued a press release this afternoon regarding an incident that happened at the Sprint Call Center in Oklahoma City on September 26, 2009.
A customer, allegedly, called the call center and, during the course of the call, asked the customer service rep. their name or was told the name. Then, the customer, allegedly, asked the rep. if he was a Muslim, which he confirmed (I say he because the press release used the words "his supervisor"). Then, the customer, allegedly, said they didn't want to talk to the rep anymore, possibly cursed, and the Sprint rep. hung-up on the customer. A week later the rep. was fired.
CAIR-OK described the customer's call a "hate call" and seeks an apology from Sprint.
Sprint has a policy that no employee can hang-up on a customer, period.

How much power do the Obama czars really have? Well, let's see. Today, Obama's pay czar let it be known he will demand a 50% pay cuts for the top financial bailout executives! That is what an anonymous source told Reuters, anyway:
The Obama administration plans to order that top earners at firms that received billions of dollars in government bailouts will see cash payouts cut by an average of about 90 percent from last year, a source familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.
The sweeping cuts, negotiated by the U.S. pay czar Kenneth Feinberg will mark a bold move for an administration that has recently railed against excessively high pay on Wall Street.
The total compensation for the top 25 earners at the seven firms will be reduced by an average of about 50 percent, the source said, speaking anonymously because the decisions have not yet been made public.
The companies affected are: AIG (AIG.N), Bank of America (BAC.N), Citigroup (C.N), General Motors [GM.UL], Chrysler, GMAC and Chrysler Financial.
A Treasury spokesman declined comment...
This czar has a lot of power it seems. Now, we just need formal confirmation this anonymous source is accurate.

"The settlement of this case is a clear victory for justice and civil rights over fear and the phenomenon of flying while Muslim in the post-9/11 era," said Nihad Awad, CAIR national executive director. "We thank all those who supported the imams through the lengthy and difficult legal process."

A climate change agreement will be pushed forward by President Barack Obama this week in Copenhagen. A formal treaty, resulting from this meeting, maybe ready in 2010 but it also could stall out.
On December 7th, the UN talks opened with a call for urgent action and ignored the thousands of emails that clearly showed the fraud leading climate change scientists were committing. This needs to be cleared up and not just brushed aside. Everyone should be skeptical, at this point. The bottom line here is the potential transfer of billions of dollars from richer nations to poorer nones based on worrisome and faulty data.
There seems to be a lot more to criticize the new Obama administration about these days after a short ten months in office. So, did they try to create a diversion by attacking Fox News? Is this a possibility to consider? The Dems do try other tactics such as calling those who speak up at town hall meetings the mob, astro turfers, racists and so on. All this is classic lefitst Sal Allnsky techniques for shutting down those who criticize. But, it's important to remember that the media should be skeptical in order to flesh out the truth.
What about MSNBC and their opinion shows which features strong and constant anti-conservative rhetoric? No problem with that, right? I didn't think so. Nor will the White House have problems with CNN, NBC, ABC and CBS who all tend to spin the news from a leftist perspective unless they start turning up the heat on the White House actions, that is.
The 2009 federal deficit soared to $1.4 trillion in the fiscal year that ended in September:
...At about 10 percent of the overall economy, the gap between federal spending and tax collections is the largest on record since the end of World War II, and bigger in nominal terms than the past four years of deficits combined.
..."There is no doubt we started the year in a difficult fiscal situation. But Congress and the administration have made a bad situation much worse with an unrelenting spending binge that has plunged our nation into a dangerous level of deficit and debt," said Rep. Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.), the senior Republican on the House Budget Committee.
...Economists universally agree that the nation cannot run such massive deficits indefinitely...
Aside from this record deficit, the Dems want to add a repressive tax for using unclean energy onto businesses in their cap and trade bills that will be passed on to citizens in higher utility bills. They also want to pay for the largest government led-expansion of health insurance in history in ways we don't even realize yet. Seriously, who do you think is going to pay for it?
Both parties are at fault here. That's why the Republicans were booted out of Congress in 2006 but the Dems aren't helping here, atl all.
Aren't struggling citizens and businesses at their wits end, already? Their goals simply defies common sense and good judgment.
The Muslim Student Association of Temple University has issued a statement against Geert Wilders speaking at the university on the 20th. They complained that since backpacks are not allowed at the event it reinforced their argument the event is unsafe. What? Isn't the purpose of this restriction to ensure no Islamic suicide bomber enters the building? But the Temple MSA spins it to be the fault of Wilders.
The Temple University Muslim Students Association (MSA), one of the largest, most active and socially conscious student organizations on Temple's campus, is issuing this public statement of protest concerning the invitation of Geert Wilders to address the Temple community on October 20, 2009.
...Temple MSA speaks for the many Muslims and socially conscious students and faculty on campus when we say that the presence of Geert Wilders on our campus is a breech of Temple University’s pledge to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all students and faculty on campus. The Muslim population at Temple feels attacked, threatened, and ultimately unsafe that Mr. Wilders has been invited to voice his hate-driven opinions. The fact alone that backpacks are prohibited for entry to this event reinforces our argument that this creates an unsafe atmosphere where prejudiced, racist and vehemently hateful words will be disguised under the veil of academia.

...The feds say they found nine pages of handwritten bomb-making instructions in Zazi's e-mail. The directions to make explosives of hydrogen peroxide and flour are similar to the bombs used by terrorists to bomb the London subway in 2005, killing 52 people.
...Zazi and his friends bought up "unusual quantities of hydrogen and acetone products," according to court papers. The store of chemicals has not been found.
....Al-Yazid took over Al Qaeda operations in Afghanistan in 2007. Pakistani officials reported his death in August 2008 but he showed up in February in a video threatening to attack India.
The House voted Thursday to allow detainees held at the American base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to be transferred to the U.S. for trial, boosting President Barack Obama's efforts to close the detention facility.
Democratic congressional leaders attached the measure permitting prisoner transfers to a $42.8 billion appropriations bill for the Homeland Security Department. That allowed lawmakers to vote for the broader bill instead of just on the Guantanamo issue. The measure now moves to the Senate.
Dozens of Democrats who two weeks ago voted for a non-binding resolution against prisoner transfers from Guantanamo voted Thursday for the appropriations bill enabling such transfers. The tally was 307-114.
Do they really think most of us won't take note of their actions?
CAIR OK has an internship program that was outlined in their recent on-line request for participants, found at idealist.org,, which includes close monitoring of the media within the state, writing letters-to-the-editor if there is anti-Muslim coverage. CAIR's Oklahoma internship program also includes the opportunity to work with government officials and on projects that include police misconduct, airport racial profiling and cases that include slights such as "prejudiced gesture." Does that mean CAIR-OK would actually go after someone who makes a gesture they deem prejudiced? I'm sorry but I don't know what that even means.
The program involves the updating of a database about abuses in Oklahoma. CAIR-OK goes on to state that the work of interns will be published and featured "as letters to the editor and as perspective pieces in Oklahoma's main newspapers such as the Oklahoman, Tulsa World, as well as community papers, Edmond Sun, Stillwater Newspress, Norman Transcript, City Sentinel, Oklahoma Gazette, and many others."
...According to Myrick, CAIR -- had attempted to infiltrate Congress by placing its interns in certain members’ offices. CAIR admitted to this allegation in a 2007 memo that Myrick now has, which stated that the organization was trying to “influence the policies of those members.”
Specifically, the memo also stated that CAIR was “most interested in the members who serve on the Judiciary, Intelligence, and Homeland Security Committees.”
In her remarks, Myrick announced a request for the U.S. Department of Justice to inform members of Congress and staff about this threat, and for the Sergeant of Arms to investigate whether or not CAIR was successful in placing its interns in Congressional offices. Myrick also called on the IRS to launch a full investigation into the legality of CAIR’s lobbying activities...
CAIR, as most of you know, grew out of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America.
I don't believe any Democrats have taken a public stand with Myrick on this issue. i could be wrong, though. But, the Dems tend to side and partner with Islamist groups.
Update 10/15/09: CAIR issues a press release using, in part, statements made by two Democrats who came to their aid:
...Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA) issued a statement yesterday, which read in part: "I am appalled by this request [for an investigation of Muslim 'spies' in Congress], and the insinuation that Muslim-Americans are somehow conspiring against this country through their work on Capitol Hill. As a strong advocate for diversity and religious freedom, I find these claims to be outrageous and offensive. I urge the rest of my colleagues to join me in denouncing this witch hunt, which is clearly intended to create fear and distrust in our Capitol Hill community."
House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers, Jr. (D-MI) today issued the following statement in support of American Muslim congressional interns: "It shouldn't need to be said in 2009, and after the historic election of our first African-American president, but let me remind all my colleagues that patriotic Americans of all races, religions, and beliefs have the right - and the responsibility - to participate in our political process, including by volunteering to work in Congressional offices. Numerous Muslim-American interns have served the House ably and they deserve our appreciation and respect, not attacks on their character or patriotism."
First, the request to DOJ was to investigate CAIR for their goals to influence as many people in Congress as possible, according to their own document. The request had nothing to do with Muslims in general. It was about the Islamist organization, CAIR. So, the title of the above link is very misleading.
See how this Islamist organization works and who works with them? Did these two Dems even read CAIR's document or know their history? Scary.
Social Security recipients will not get a cost of living increased for 2010. This is the first time this has happened since the COLA adjustment were approved in 1975.
A march in Britain that demands the full implementation of Sharia Law is planned for October 31st. Will there be thousands of Muslims participating? Will they be allowed to march in the first place? Islam4UK is the Islamist organization putting this march together:
...Islam4UK has announced plans to hold a potentially incendiary rally in London later this month.
And it is calling for a complete upheaval of the British legal system, its officials and legislation.
Members have urged Muslims from all over Britain to converge on the capital on October 31 for a procession to demand the full implementation of sharia law.
The group declared: “We hereby request all Muslims in the United Kingdom, in Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, Glasgow and all other places to join us and collectively declare that as submitters to Almighty Allah, we have had enough of democracy and man-made law and the depravity of the British culture.
“On this day we will call for a complete upheaval of the British ruling system its members and legislature, and demand the full implementation of Shari’ah in Britain.
...A spokesman for the Islamic Society of Britain said: “99.999 per cent of Muslims despise these people. This only serves to fuel racial tensions.”
Islam isn't a race so I'm not sure why that statement was made.
Islam4UK has the type of Google listing to their site that is reserved only heavily visited websites, so that should get your attention. It appears their website's homepage was changed recently to remove a picture that is on this cache page advertising the march:
A Florida judge has ordered teenage runaway, Rifqa Bary, to return to her home state of Ohio, after proof her immigration papers are in order. A hearing is set for October 23rd to address these issues prior to the transfer. Once in Ohio, she will be placed in foster care.
Bary ran away from home for fear she would be killed or harmed by her father after she converted to Christianity. Her parents are Muslims.
Former Vice President Al Gore conducted a rare Q & A at a conference of environmental journalists in Wisconsin last Friday. When one of the journalist questioned Gore on errors cited by a UK judge in his 2005 documentary titled "Inconvenient Truth," he tried to ditch the questions and then the man was then cut off by other journalists or program officials (see video below).
Aren't journalists suppose to probe, to question and be skeptical in order to flesh out the truth? Geez.
In 2007, USA Today reported UK judge finds problems in Gore film, and ruled some of the assertions in Gore's documentary were not supported by scientific evidence. The article went on to say the judge ruled the government's plan to show the filmviolated laws banning the promotion of partisan political views in the classroom, but could proceed if teachers ensure that Gore's political views are not seen as being endorsed by schools or is misused as political indoctrination.
...It all happened because of a young man who was caught on camera by FOX 5 sitting in on the sidewalk along Wisconsin Avenue wearing a blue sweater and handcuffs. Police say the man's name is Ahamed Ali, based on a driver license from Bangladesh. Witnesses and police say Ali had been hanging around Chevy Chase Pavilion for a couple of days, taking notes, making threats, and acting strangely. Now, according to a police report obtained by FOX 5, more is known about what had concerned passersby and police. Investigators say Ali was overheard calling out: "I'm not scared to die! I will kill you! I will blow people up and the Metro!" "He made some statements, threatening individuals," said Sgt. Guy Poirier of the Joint Terrorist Task Force. "At that point we had to take him at his word, what he meant."
...Detectives also searched Ali's backpack right on the sidewalk in front of the Cheesecake Factory. In the backpack, police say they found a notebook with "I will kill you" written inside. It contained diagrams of bridges, mosques and other buildings in Washington..."
Federl investigators apparently took over the case for now. Ali is due in court this week.
The Nobel Peace Prize was surprisingly awarded to President Barack Obama today after a mere eight months in office. He has no peace treaty in hand or concrete achievements to back it up, other than a number of speeches masterfully delivered , a call for the end to nuclear arms and his efforts to bring the international world together which have yet to be accomplished. Obama joined only three other American presidents who have been bestowed this prize; Jimmy Carter, Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt.
Democrat Wilson created the League of Nations and Carter won the prize after leaving office for his international efforts to advance democracy and human rights, which I suppose includes his talks with Hamas, a U.S. designated terrorist organization. He has even stated recently Hamas can be trusted!
President Reagan's efforts to end the Cold War, which did end, were never recognized by the Nobel Peace Committee. By the way, has any conservative ever been recognized?
Mohhamed Zazi, the father of Najibullah Zazi, who was indicted on terrorism charges, was himself indicted today.
The father of an Afghan immigrant accused of plotting one of the most serious security threats to the United States since the September 11 attacks was indicted on Thursday on charges of lying to the FBI, federal prosecutors said.
...The younger Zazi, a Denver airport shuttle driver, was indicted last month by a federal grand jury in New York on charges of plotting to explode bombs in the United States. He has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail.
Prosecutors said Zazi took a bomb-making course at an al Qaeda training camp in Pakistan, had notes on how to make explosives on his laptop computer and acquired materials similar to those used in bomb attacks in London in 2005, buying acetone and hydrogen peroxide at beauty supply stores near his home in Colorado.
