U.S. Congresswoman Sue Myrick is founder of the Congressional Anti-Terrorism Caucus. She also serves on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
Below is a brief excerpt from an article titled Sue Myrick Meets the Muslims - and Brings Backup which summarized a town hall meeting Myrick held last Thursday in her district in North Carolina with Muslims:
...Many Muslims, including some of Myrick's constituents, believe her warnings about radicals – and their sympathizers in U.S. government agencies -- working to "throw out our Constitution and force us to live under sharia law" have spread a fear of all Muslims.
...The laughter stopped when Myrick introduced two speakers, examples of the moderate, mainstream Muslims that she counts as advisers. Phoenix physician M. Zuhdi Jasser founded the American Islamic Forum for Democracy(AIFD) in 2003 to serve as an "example of an American Islamic institution which can be a leading voice for liberty-minded Muslims in America in the war on terror," its website reads.
"We as Muslims are in denial," Jasser said. He decried what he called the "victimology" of groups such as CAIR and the Islamic Society of North America(ISNA).
...Jasser later said the forum was an internal Muslim dialogue that needs to happen. "We try to do this in mosques and they shut us down..."
Dr. Jasser is a Muslim whom I admire very much because he is not afraid to speak out about Islamism - politcal Islam that threatens our country. When he speaks, I listen.
He is not alone. Below is video Rep. Myrick released in January of a discussion she had with three other Muslims who also deserve our attention because of their insight about the threat we face in America by Islamists. This is a must watch video because of their powerful candidness and bravery. The video features Dr.Hedieh Mirahmadi, president of the World Organization for Resource, Development and Education (WORDE), Zeyno Baron, Director of the Hudson Institutes Center for Eurasian Policy; and Farid Ghadry, an Executive Member in the Reform Party of Syria.
The Florida Security Council has produced a video you must watch which helps build upon the knowledge we have, or need to have about Islamism (Muslims who seek political power for the cause of Islamic supremacy). In this video a term is used called "progressive Islam" which is new to me - I'm not sure about it, yet, but the history of the Islamist movement in the video is powerful.
We need to educate ourselves and our children more on this movement and we must become passionately involved because Islamists, eat live and breath their cause every hour of every day. We no longer have the luxury to go about our daily lives without a care in the world, as we once did. The Florida Security Council will hold a demonstration (another good video) on Muslim Capitol Day on March 11th.
It is important to clarify there are Muslims who want to practice secular Islam in America who are against Islamism. These are the Muslims who need to rise up in America and it is up to us to do it. So, let's be clear - to be an activist against Islamism is not an indictment against all Muslims. Islamist will not separate the two while secular Muslims will.
Sayyid Qutb (PBS), the architect of the modern day Islamist movement mentioned in the video went to college at, what is now known as, the University of Northern Colorado in 1949. When he returned to Egypt, Qutb became a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood shortly after the founder Hassan al-Banna was assassinated in 1949. Other Islamists have also gone to this college, for some odd reason. I am reasonably sure most everything in this video can be backed by a credible proof source. I also want to point out the Saudi prince mentioned in the film is the largest stakeholder in News Corporation, the parent of Fox News, outside the Rupert Murdoch family, which is worrisome.
This video is disturbing because of the hate Islamists and their supporters have towards America, Christians and Jews and all others. Their view of the world is seen through Islamic supremacist lenses only. They threaten our democracy through their intimidations, coercion, hateful protests, ill will, action alerts and anti-security efforts, to name a few. Their cause is also aided by jihadists terrorists. They show their American neighbors the opposite how good neighbors treat each other. Part of their goal here is to use community organizing and other methods to mask their true intent based on internal Muslim Brotherhood documents found in America and presented as evidence in the trial largest Islamic charity in America for funding Hamas.
Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi called on Thursday for a "jihad" or armed struggle against Switzerland, which he called an infidel state that was destroying mosques.
"Any Muslim in any part of the world who works with Switzerland is an apostate, is against [the Prophet] Muhammad, God and the Koran," Col. Gadhafi said during a meeting in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi to mark the prophet's birthday.
"The masses of Muslims must go to all airports in the Islamic world and prevent any Swiss plane landing, to all harbors and prevent any Swiss ships docking, inspect all shops and markets to stop any Swiss goods being sold," Col. Gadhafi said...
The Justice Department announced that a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of New York has returned a superseding indictment charging Zarein Ahmedzay and Adis Medunjanin with terrorism violations stemming from, among other activities, their alleged roles in the plot involving Najibullah Zazi to attack the New York subway system in mid-September 2009. Ahmedzay and Medunjanin are scheduled to appear in federal court today in Brooklyn at 11:00 a.m.
...The five-count superseding indictment unsealed this morning charges both Ahmedzay and Medunjanin with conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction (explosive bombs) against persons or property in the United States. Specifically, they are charged with conspiring with Zazi to conduct an attack on Manhattan subway lines that would take place on Sept. 14, Sept. 15, or Sept. 16, 2009. The maximum statutory penalty for this offense is life in prison.
Secretary Hilliary Clinton recently signed an order to lift the hold on Tariq Ramadan's visa which had been in place for several years. Lifting the hold allows Ramadan to apply for a new visa. He is the grandson of Hassan al-Banna the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood. This global Islamist organization seeks an Islamic caliphate, a religiously supremacist ruling system, world-wide.
Yet, the State Department does not believe Ramadan is a threat to national security.
...But in the Secretary’s judgment, and consistent with President Obama’s outreach to the – to Muslims around the world, we want to encourage a global debate. We want to have the opportunity potentially to have Islamic scholars come to the United States and have dialogue with other faith communities and people here in our country.
I would disagree with their assessment. Last August, Ramadan was fired from a Dutch university for a show he hosted on Iran's state TV. While, Ramadan may give the West the impression he is more of a moderate Muslim, he has not denounced his grandfather's Islamic supremacist ideology or this movement. He is highly critical of the U.S. foreign policy, just like the Muslim Brotherhood. His father, Said Ramadan, was alleged to have been a prominent figure in this supremacist organization who was kicked out of Egypt and eventually settled in Switzerland.
Ramadan can only embolden Islamists.
I wonder if Sec. Clinton will allow Yusef Qaradawi, the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood who studied under al-Banna, the right to come here, too. Must I remind everyone about the networks of Islamic fund-raising organizations set-up in America to support Hamas that were allowed to thrive under President Clinton.
CAIR Chicago didn't waste any time here since Ramadan will be the keynote speaker at their banquet on April 10th.
The appearance of Professor Ramadan will be a milestone for the American Muslim community since he was banned from visiting the United States almost six years ago. Late last month Secretary of State Hilary Clinton signed an order revoking Professor Ramadan’s visa ban.
This confirms Ramadan will be there in person.
The title of their banquet: "Unapologetic Activism"
ON SEPTEMBER 20, the State Department denied a visa to Muslim scholar Tariq Ramadan on the grounds that he had contributed around 600 euros to a French charity classified as a terrorist organization since 2003 because of its relationship with the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.
Last November, several senators, led by Senator Tom Coburn, the Ranking Member on the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations for the Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee wrote a joint letter to the IRS regarding CAIR. In the letter they questioned CAIR's lobbying efforts.
I found this letter linked in an article titled The IRS and CAIR at Big Government written by Frank Gaffney. He then wrote about questions he had about CAIR's 2006 tax return and revealed what Rodwan Saleh said at a CAIR fund-raising banquet back in 2006:
RODWAN SALEH: We are now at $250,000. Takbir.
AUDIENCE: Allahu Akbar.
SALEH: Takbir.
AUDIENCE: Allahu Akbar.
SALEH: Now, listen carefully [unclear] requirements. There is a family, there is a family that says if we all now can put this amount of money from 250 to 300, they will match the 300. You understand what I’m saying? Now, so we need now to make sure that we get $50,000 in no time because if we can make 300 this family will put another 300 [unclear]. Did you hear me?.
The audio of what he said is at the link above for you to hear. But, Gaffney said CAIR's 2006 tax return reported only $89,775 raised. Attempts to get clarification from CAIR were met with silence. So, questions remain.
Radwan Saleh is scheduled to be the "motivational speaker" at CAIR Oklahoma's banquet in March.
A former CAIR national board member (2007 wayback archive - a third party web page archiver), Nabil Sadoun, who was also the chairman of CAIR's board (wayback archive), in Texas, at one time, was described by CAIR as a "teacher and principal" in a number of American schools. Last Friday he was ordered deported after the judge concluded he lied about his ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. CAIR claimed he left the board a "few months" ago. According the the Dallas Morning News, Sadoun was an imam at a mosque in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 1990s.
"...CAIR claims to be a civil rights group for Muslims, but CAIR's numerous documented associations with terrorists like Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood show CAIR's true intent," said Cindy Crenshaw, President of Oklahomans Against CAIR Hate (OACH)...
Below are some of the details of the judge's orders:
An immigration judge in Dallas on Friday ordered an outspoken Islamic leader deported after the U.S. government alleged he had ties to terrorist groups in the Middle East.
Nabil Sadoun a Dallas resident and former board member of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, was deported to his native Jordan after he failed to appear at his immigration hearing. He entered the U.S. in August 1993.
In the hearing, Judge Anthony Rogersof the Executive Office for Immigration Review, said Sadoun "made a decision to leave the U.S." and forfeited his right to fight his deportation. He said the decision was final and could not be appealed.
In court, the judge made vague references to the government's voluminous motion to deport him, including alleged involvement with Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. The judge concluded Sadoun lied on government forms when he denied he was a member...
Federal authorities say Sadoun, when applying for an immigrant visa in 1993, failed to disclose his role in founding the United Association for Studies and Research, my Dallas Morning News colleague Jason Trahan reports. The FBI says the UASR, based in a suburb of Washington, D.C., and now defunct, was formed to benefit Hamas.
You might have thought this story is about some brave women in the Middle East. Unfortunately, this happened at the Islamic Center of Washington located in our nation's capital.
In many mosques across America women are segregated.
...Over the weekend, (Jannah B'int) Hannah and approximately 20 other women prayed in the main hall, but D.C. police were called. They asked them to leave or be arrested.
Syed Burmi, the imam of Islamic Society of Western Maryland, said the physical separation helps maintain women's privacy and modesty as well as keeps the focus on prayer.
"If I stand next to a lady or a woman stands next to me, maybe the focus will change and no longer be on God the Almighty. So that's why we put the partition," Burmi said.
In two out of every three American mosques, women of separate prayer spaces around the country.
Asra Nomani is a leading Islamic feminist who led a similar protest in West Virginia.
"We have this generation of American muslim women who are saying look you want us to go to Harvard, to rise to the highest level of Wall Street firms and you want us to sit where .
Asra Nomani, an Islamic feminist, says Muslim women are encouraged to rise to the highest levels of society and don't want to be second class in the mosque.
News is just breaking that a small plane may have crashed into the local offices of the FBI within the past 30 minutes.
As always, the first reports are often wrong.
Update 10:35 AM CT: Now the reports say the 7-story building did not house the FBI office there but their offices are nearby.
Update 11:18 AM CT: There are some federal offices (maybe the IRS) located in this building at the 9400 block of Research Blvd. in Austin. There are reports now that the pilot set his home on fire and then flew a plane into the building, intentionally but this has not been confirmed by officials.
There's a growing partnership between the Obama administration and Islamists. Obama recently named Rashad Hussain to be his envoy to the Saudi-based and backed OIC (a 21st century caliphate empire structure). This Islamist organization is attempting to get a binding resolution at the U.N. passed that will try to stop any criticism of Islam, worldwide. Shutting people up, especially in weaker countries, will help Islamists and their terrorist soldiers push into power easier - a strategy to help the OIC get their new religious supremacist empire bigger and stronger, I suspect. In Islamic countries, no one is allowed to criticize Islam, as most of you know. Now, the OIC wants to force this onto non-Muslims. The OIC is 2nd only to the U.N in size.
President Bush named an envoy to this growing power but Obama's choice is worrisome.
First, a quick review of others who have caused concern with Obama's administration. Obama's faith-based Muslim advisory, Daila Mogahed, spoke on a British TV program operated by Hizb ut Tahrir - an Islamic supremacist global organization - that is banned in many Middle East countries and said most Muslim women she interviewed want Sharia Law. Then, if that wasn't bad enough Mogahed shilled again for Sharia Law on a Link TV program and explained away concerns about this legal structure, based on Islamic religious supremacy, that it was simply in the hands of the wrong people in power. One could write a book about why this is so misleading.
Then, there's Obama's other Muslim advisor, Eboo S. Patel who said Our goal is to bring the Muslim voice to American decision makers. In other words, they seek to have their religion high on the radar within every aspect of our local, state and U.S. government while CAIR and its state chapters work to suppress and ridicule criticism of Islam and its growing political power base when these concerns are expressed by our elected officials. They will even pressure them if they speak out about the Christian majority in America all the while they try derail our national security efforts, at every opportunity.
Are you getting this?
In Sleeping with the Enemy, the author, Andy McCarthy, recapped a few recent articles about Obama's envoy:
For a quick round-up, Jen Rubin has more at Contentions on Rashad Hussain's appearance at a CAIR leadership summit; at Jihad Watch, Robert Spencer detailsHussain's pro-al-Arian comments and the clumsy effort to cover them up; and Powerline's Scott Johnson points out that they were made at a Muslim Students Association event — the MSA being another Muslim Brotherhood creation. Claudia Rosett's Forbes column is a great primer on Hussain's "outreach" target, the OIC. At Pajamas, Richard Pollock has the low-down on Napolitano's group hug with leaders of ISNA (like CAIR, an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism finance case), MPAC (supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah), and the Muslim American Society (the Muslim Brotherhood's American branch, dedicated to replacing American law with sharia), among others. Finally, Michelle Malkin calls attention to unexplored elements of Brennan's disgraceful performance at NYU, in particular his exchange with Flying Imams ringleader, Omar Shahin.
Americans should be concerned and pay more attention.
Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, a well-known Saudi billionaire is chairman of the Kingdom Holding Company, and is the largest financial stakeholder in News Corporation, outside the Rupert Murdoch family. It's the parent company of Fox News. Apparently, he has upped his stake from 3% to 7, if this article is correct (see 2005 artlcle below for reference). He has smaller stakes in Disney and Time Warner.
He is the nephew of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah.
One anti-Islamist critic complained recently that the voices against Islamism, i.e., political Islam, have been banned from the air at Fox News. Voices like Brigitte Gabriel of ACT for America and others. Have you noticed if this is true? Islamists always call their critics Islamophobes and do not separate their political agenda with the theology of Islam. Islamism is the goal of gaining political power for the religion of Islam with a global supremacy agenda and is not the same things as secular Islam.
I do not know if all this is true but am passing it along as something to pay attention to going forward.
Prince Alwaleed bin Talal now has 5.46% of voting shares in News Corp through his investment company, Kingdom, replacing a 3% stake in non-voting shares he held previously.
screen shot of video by Muskogee Political of Gaza rally 1/5/09 organized by Razi Hashmi, the director of CAIR's chapter in Oklahoma
CAIR Oklahoma sponsorship of a so-called "peace rally" in January 2009 bothers me a lot and now, before their annual banquet in March which features an anti-Israeli speaker, it's a good time to revisit it. I believe when you look at the visuals of the rally, the statements made by Razi Hashmi, the director of the Oklahoma chapter of CAIR, an organization ID'd as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas terror funding trial, the rally was, in part, a front for supporting Hamas.
First, take a look at the screen shot above of a video taken by Muskogee Political. See the strong anti-Israel messages? Most Oklahomans are Christians and our allegiance to Israel is deep within our Biblical text and is unbreakable. So, to deliberately offend the majority of Oklahomans was foolish to do.
In two NewsOK articles about the rally, the allegiance to the "Hamas rulers" seemed unmistakable. On January 5, 2009, the day of the rally reporter, Michael McNutt wrote, Oklahoma protesters call for end to fighting in Gaza:
More than 200 people, most of them Islamic- Americans, demonstrated peacefully today outside the state Capitol asking state and national leaders to press Israel for a cease-fire against the Gaza Strip's Hamas rulers...
America should take immediate steps to end Israel’s "illegal and immoral” offensive against the Gaza Strip’s Hamas rulers, the executive director of the Oklahoma City chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations said Monday.
No mention was made by Hashmi that Israel was defending itself against Hamas rockets and live to this day in fear of rocket attacks by a group that has vowed their destruction which they have in writing in their Hamas Charter.
You can watch the videos of the protest again here and here (taken by Muskogee Political). Only one sign at the rally was removed and that was the one of the swastika over the Israeli symbol but the man carrying that sign can been seen leading the chant in the 2nd video (midway through) without the sign. This photo was taken by Okie Campaign. No other anti-Israel signs were removed.
During this time, Hashmi had the gall to put words in our mouths by claiming he thought Oklahomans are concerned about our support of Israel, which is simply inaccurate:
Hashmi, an Edmond resident, said the U.S. government has not made it a secret that they support Israel. He said he thinks Oklahomans are concerned that taxpayers’ money is helping fund weapons for Israel, which are being used to attack the Gaza Strip...
When U.S. Rep. Mary Fallen spoke out against Hamas, a designated foreign terrorist organization. Hashmi said she should be neutral. Let's just remember the Gaza Strip was violently over-thrown by Hamas in 2007 and embedded themselves among the civilians. Any retaliation against Hamas would, by default, involve civilians but that doesn't seem to bother Razi Hashmi, in the least.
CAIR, is an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America. The Muslim Brotherhood is a religious supremacist global organization whose branch in Palestine started Hamas with the express goal to destroy Israel for Islam. It's important to remind everyone that Palestine was a territory of the Islamic Ottoman hegemony. Now, Islamists want Israel under the control of the Islamic world as it was under the Ottoman caliphate and is part of their goals to create a new caliphate.
Lastly, Palestine has been offered statehood before. First, it was proposed in the U.N. Partition Plan in Resolution 181 on November 29, 1947. Israel accepted it and the Arab world did not. Then, a United Nation General Assembly resolution was adopted "acknowledging the proclamation of the State of Palestine by the Palestine National Council on the 15th of November 1988. This proclamation declared Jersusalem their capital which was under the control of Israel. Please keep in mind the earliest Jewish temples are in Jerusalem and had mosques built over them. The U.S. and Israel voted against this resolution.
But most people don't know these facts. Furthermore, the two governments within Palestine, itself, don't even get along.
The Palestine problem became an international issue towards the end of the First World War with the disintegration of the Turkish Ottoman Empire. Palestine was among the several former Ottoman Arab territories which were placed under the administration of Great Britain under the Mandates System adopted by the League of Nations pursuant to the League's Covenant
I copied and pasted the open letter from Vice Chancellor Gomez at the University of California Irvine to students regarding last week's arrest of Muslim students, now called the Irvine 11, who hatefully interrupted Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren's speech with shouts of murderer over and over again in front of a packed audience of over 500 who came to hear him talk.
Think about it folks, as these students stood up for Palestine they also stood up for Hamas, a designated foreign terrorist organization, who violently took overtook Gaza in 2007 and embedded itself among civilians as cover. Hamas knows that any retaliation against them would involve civilians. It's a strategy to make it easier to cry foul against the big bad Israelis.
Over the past few years, we have had numerous opportunities to talk about free speech – about what is and is not protected within the broad scope of the First Amendment. Now, following the incident at Israeli Ambassador Oren’s disrupted address on Feb. 8, it is clear we need to review some actions that are not protected and do not legally constitute free speech.
Preventing someone else from speaking is not the same thing as exercising free speech. As Chancellor Drake has stated, “A great university depends on the free exchange of ideas. This is non-negotiable.” Disrupting someone else’s right to speak is antithetical to the principles of the First Amendment because one cannot claim the right to speak in service of depriving someone else of that right. In some contexts we call that censorship.
In California, anyone “without authority of law willfully disturbs or breaks up any assembly or meeting that is not unlawful in its character…” can be charged with a misdemeanor under California Penal Code §403. Other penal codes can apply as well. In short, this is a very serious situation.
No one can steal the right to speak from someone else. No one’s right to speak is greater than anyone else’s. If you want to claim your right to speak, you must acknowledge and respect the same right for everyone.
I missed an article from ABC News dated January 22, 2010 that warned of female suicide bombers who may try to enter the United States.
Unrelated to this specific warning, a woman, already here, was arrested after authorities found an explosive device in a vehicle this past Saturday in Arlington, Texas. She had been of interest to federal authorities, for a while:
Kimberly "Asma" Al-Homsi, who has repeatedly been the subject of interest by federal anti-terrorism authorities, is expected to face a federal explosives charge after the latest incident in Arlingtonon Saturday.
...Al-Homsi, 45, and Yasinul Alan Ansari, 18, both remain in the Arlington city jail. Bail has been set at $210,000 for Al-Homsi and $100,000 for Ansari.
ATF Dallas spokesman Thomas Crowley said Sunday that officials plan to file a complaint on the pair in federal court in Fort Worth on Tuesday. "It's an ongoing federal investigation," he said. "We can't put out any description [of the device] until after the complaint is filed."
Police closed Loop 820 at Rosedale for nearly seven hours while they investigated. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution. The road reopened about midnight.
Al-Homsi has also claimed a friendship with Wadih el Hage, a former Arlington resident and former personal secretary of al-Qaedaleader Osama bin Laden. He received a life sentence for his part in a bombing conspiracy. ..
She drew attention from officials in 2007 when she and another woman surveyed Love Field. This article stated she was on the "no fly" list and Al Hornsi claimed to be Syrian who doesn't like our government.
On four recent occasions, Razi Hashmi CAIR's director in Oklahoma has skirted the truth about, well, CAIR.
On or about January 22, 2010, Hashmi was interviewed on OETA. He was asked a question about the reputation of CAIR's national headquarters in Washington, D.C. Hashmi bragged how highly credible and reputable CAIR was (see video clip below). The newscaster did a poor job of follow-through since there are volumes of damaging documents about CAIR from which he could have continued the questioning.
CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas terror funding trial and named in U.S. vs. Benkahla as founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood who conspired with other affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood to support terrorists.(page 58 at the bottom). The FBI severed ties with them and several congresssional members have called for an investigation. It has been reported CAIR National hasn't filed their taxes since 2006. Furthermore, CAIR withdrew a lawsuit after they failed to provide information about their financial backers (CAIR vs. Andrew Whitehead). A lawsuit by CAIR Canada was also withdrawn.
Following a public protest organized by Oklahomans Against CAIR Hate on the 23rd of January at the University of Oklahoma Hashmi distance himself from CAIR and said we are the Oklahoma Chapter of CAIR. In a News 6 interview, he said the evidence is a bunch of lies that have been fueled by the Internet. And, when he was asked by Dr. Bruce Prescott about specifics of the lies made against CAIR, Hashmi generalized that whole problem was caused by the extreme right wing fringe.
We need to keep the pressure on because the truth is important.
CAIR, an organization which grew out of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America, has issued a press release regarding the eleven Muslims college students were arrested Tuesday during a talk given by Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren at the University of California Irvine:
The Greater Los Angeles Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-LA) and the Los Angeles office of the National Lawyers Guild (NLG-LA) on Friday sent a letter to University of California, Irvine (UCI) Chancellor Michael V. Drake urging him to drop charges against 11 students who peacefully protested at a UCI-sponsored event. A letter was also sent today to the Orange County District Attorney's office by CAIR-LA.
"...The selective application of laws by off-campus law enforcement agencies to students engaged in constitutionally-protected political speech will be viewed by the American Muslim community and those who value free speech as an attempt to repress legitimate student protest and will undermine this important First Amendment Right."
In their press release CAIR claimed these students merely spoke out and peacefully protested. Watch the video and see for yourself.
CAIR claims this was their free speech right.
But, what's good for Muslims is not good for other Americans since CAIR will go after and pressure American officials if they use free speech to speak about the Christian majority in America, as in the case of Mayor Parris of Lancaster, CA. or who criticize radical Islam (see here, here and here for examples. Remember, CAIR's roots are born from an Islamic supremacist organization that is banned in Egypt.Their beginnings are defined in In U.S. vs. Sabri Benkahla, On page 58, at the bottom, they are described as founded by leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood who conspired to deceive the public about their connection to terrorists.
We can only hope UCI's Chancellor Drake will not cave-in to this two-faced Islamist organization.
Consider sending a a short email to Chancellor Drake and the Dean of Students to support appropriate disciplinary action with the eleven who were arrested because of their hateful, divisive and intolerant behavior towards an invited guest speaker at the university.
There is a man in California, whom I don't know, but he has made my day. This man, a Muslim, spoke up after the speech given by Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren that was interrupted repeatedly by a number of Muslim students who were eventually arrested.
He is what America is all about, now isn't he? Either he or someone else also created a YouTube page called Muslims for Free Speech. Right now it has one video. Unfortunately, it has already received one hateful message on YouTube.
Anna Baltzer will be the keynote speaker at CAIR Oklahoma's annual banquet on March 20th at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. Baltzer claims to be a Jewish American but in reality she is a mouthpiece for anti-Israeli Islamists, it seems to me.
Dr, Bruce Prescott heads Mainstream Baptists which is located in Norman, Oklahoma. He has a weekly radio show on the Internet and last November he interviewed Razi Hashmi, the Director of the CAIR chapter in Oklahoma shortly after the Ft. Hood shooting. Hashmi read a statement from CAIR National about the attack during the interview.
There is one two minute segment in the roughly 20-25 minute interview I found disturbing (see audio/video below). First, Dr. Prescott said how important it is for us to do our own research to be sure we have accurate facts. Unfortunately, I don't believe he practices what he preaches - which should become apparent. Listen to Hashmi label CAIR critics as extreme right-wing fringe groups who fear monger with lies. But Hashmi was asked for specifics about their lies. Hashmi never answered the question. Yet, Dr. Prescott bite into Hashmi's generalization hook, line and sinker.
Anti-CAIR, headed by Andrew Whitehead, is the group Prescott referred to prior to Hashmi's response. He could have been speaking in general terms about CAIR critics, but I don't think so.
For those of you who don't know, CAIR sued Anti-CAIR in 2004 and then dismissed their suit with prejudice during crucial discovery requests by Whitehead's counsel that sought details on CAIR’s finances, its relationship to Hamas, and its ties to Saudi Arabia and other Islamic radicals.
Today, it 's like the suit was never filed! CAIR can't file a lawsuit against Anti-CAIR again over the issues they claimed libeled them. Andrew Whitehead reports the "terms of the settlement are confidential. However, no apology was issued, no retraction or corrections made, and the statements that triggered CAIR’s suit remain on the ACAIR website." One of the statements that brought the suit stated: "Let there be no doubt that CAIR is a terrorist supporting front organization that is partially funded by terrorists, and that CAIR wishes nothing more than the implementation of Sharia law in America.”
If this is wholly inaccurate why did CAIR dismiss the lawsuit? There are more legal details here which I encourage others to read, especially Dr. Prescott. CAIR National buckled when it came to releasing their financial backers, it appears. And, now it has come to light they haven't filed their taxes since 2006! I also sent Dr. Prescott a personal note about my concerns.
I encourage Dr. Prescott, Rashi Hashmi or anyone else to let me know if I ever write anything that is not factually accurate so I can correct it. I can make mistakes for I am only human but be sure to include a proof source to back up your claim.
In this interview segment Hashmi also said people shouldn't necessarily assimilate in America!
The Canadian Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-CAN), the Canadian chapter of the controversial Washington, DC-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), has recently issued a press release (attached) purporting to report the outcome of a defamation lawsuit in which I was a defendant.Readers are cautioned that the CAIR-CAN document is misleading in certain important respects.
CAIR-CAN and its then-Chair, Dr. Sheema Khan, sued Ottawa radio station CFRA and me for remarks I made as a regular CFRA national-security guest during an interview with host Mr. Steve Madely on 1 April 2004.At all relevant times, Mr. Riad Saloojee was Executive Director of CAIR-CAN.Dr. Khan and Mr. Saloojee have lately been replaced in their positions by Mr. Abdul-Basit Khan and Mr. Karl Nickner, respectively. I believe implicitly in the accuracy of all that I said on the radio program. I have withdrawn not a word, and never shall. In the course of the interview I posed a question:Shouldn’t someone be looking into CAIR-CAN’s relationship with its more-troubling American relative, CAIR?For this, I was sued for libel...
There is a very hateful statement that appears to be made by Imam Imad Enchassi of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City which shows up next to his facebook picture that was made on Tuesday which is on the list of friends ofLobna Hewedi, former CAIR Oklahoma Board Chair. For some horrible reason ten churches in east Texas have been destroyed or damaged by fire so far. The last two were Monday night in Smith County. Another news report said the ATF said it was too early to call the last two fires arson, but were suspicious.
These crimes appear to be the deliberate destruction of a place of worship and should be investigated by the FBI as hate crimes. There appears to be a growing intolerance for Christians in our country. Think about it - our public officials can't speak in public about the Christian majority in America without being raked over the coals.
Something is not right here.
The Christian community in America should become more unified and work as one against those who seek to stop it.

This billboard was put up over I 35 in Wyoming, Minnesota. A group of small businesses thought of a clever way to say Washington isn't listening to them.
CAIR, an organization that grew out of the religious supremacist Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America, has agreed with a Fatwa issued by the Fiqh Council of North America that the use of airport body scanners are against Islamic law:
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today supported a statement by a prominent group of Muslim scholars that full-body scanners being introduced in airports worldwide violate religious and privacy rights.
In a February 9 statement, the Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA) asked that scanner software be altered to produce only an outline of the body and urged Muslim travelers to avail themselves of alternative pat-down searches.
"We support the Fiqh Council's statement on full-body scanners and believe that the religious and privacy rights of passengers can be respected while maintaining safety and security," said CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad.
The Figh Council has a known Muslim Brotherhood leader, Jamal Badawi, ID'd by the FBI on its council. I couldn't find this council's statement in google news but I did find it on Islamonline which is chaired by Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leaders Yusef Qaradawi - whose fatwas approve of martyrdom against Israel, including women and children. This council stated the use of body scanners is against the teachings of Islam. They issued a fatwa, folks, as if they are the ruling authority here.
CAIR and other Muslims need to know that we follow American laws and rules and not Islamic law!
CAIR, an organization ID'd by the FBI in court documents as an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America, has scored another big one. They have been successful in getting clarification from Mayor Rex Parris from Lancaster, CA for his "Christian community" remarks a couple weeks ago.
CAIR threw their full weight against this mayor, as they do other officials to force them to gravel - apologize or whatever - because they speak in public about our country's Christian majority. This time CAIR threatened to file a complaint with the Department of Justice.
It is a sad, sad day in America when our own public officials can't speak about the faith that's the clear majority in America. It's especially disturbing since CAIR's roots come from an Islamic supremacist organization banned in other parts of the world.
In 2007, Allison Moore, a spokeswoman for the Islamic Society of Tulsa, stood before a meeting organized by Tulsa Truth, a local 9/11 conspiracy theorist group, and spoke for thirty minutes on two different occasions. The video segment below is from her January 2007 talk which has been available on the Internet since 2007. She actually praised Yemen-based Anwar al-Awlaki (Aulaqi) and said our big bad government took away his citizenship - which I don't believe is accurate Al-Awlaki is the U.S. born Imam who has now been linked to al-Qaeda, the Ft. Hood attack and the Christmas day bomber. He had been on the radar of the FBI for years and slipped out of the country - yet Moore praised him and spoke of the large following he had here. Is it safe to assume she had no clue why the FBI had an interest in him? If she didn't have a clue, shouldn't she had been smarter to make sure abaut him before she took his side and blamed our government?
Moore went on to complain how poorly many Muslims were treated - when hundreds were rounded up and some detained for years after 9/11, she said. Jose Padilla was mentally gone after we allegedly tortured him, she claimed. Yet, Padilla was convicted for his terrorist activities. Where does she get her information? Then, she went on to say there aren't a lot of terrorists here because we aren't finding them, which is totally inaccurate. She also said the media in recent years paints all mainstreams Muslims as fanatics - also completely inaccurate. Moore's perception of reality is bizarre.
Moore, a Muslim convert and the daughter of a veteran, appears to have very strong anti-American opinions which could be the tip of the iceberg of anti-government sentiment prevalent among the hard-line Tulsa Muslim community - and that scares me and it should you, too.
I can see why the FBI watches over them closely, as she said.
(at the 5:23 min. Moore speaks about al Awlaki)
Then, to thank the Tulsa 9/11 conspiracy theorists, CAIR Oklahoma and the Islamic Society of Tulsa actually gave three of its members their 2007 Goodwill Appreciation award!
"...Because I am a Muslim and I promote Islam. The charge is "incitement"; my relationships with Nidal Hasan, Umar Farouk and some 9/11 attackers, and now I am accused of being linked to 14 cases. All this comes as part of the attempt to liquidate the voices that call for defending the rights of the Umma [Muslim nation]. -- they want an Islam that recognises the occupation and deals with it, they want an Islam that has no sharia ruling, no jihad and no Islamic caliphate. We call for the Islam that was sent by Allah to Prophet Muhammad, the Islam of jihad and sharia ruling..."

There are many fine Muslims in America who simply want to practice their religion quietly, privately and go about their business. They reject Islamism - the pursuit of power to gain a stronghold for Islamic rule. They reject Islamic activism. They openly oppose the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) its affiliate Hamas, their affilates and supporters in the U.S., Hizb ut Tahrir, and others such Islamic supremacist organizations. But, when a Muslim or any Islamic organization uses community service and interfaith efforts in cities and towns all across America to gain acceptance but calls critics of Islamic supremacist movements bigots while they openly or covertly support these Islamic supremacist movements, it's disturbing, two-faced and deceptive.

Michael Oren, the Israeli ambassador to the U.S. was treated horribly during a speech he gave at the University of California Irvine last night. Eleven students were arrested for disturbing the peace which involved interrupting his speech a number of times with shouts.
The UCI Muslim Student Union opposed his presence and issued a statement condemning his appearance. UCI is well-known for its Muslim students who have strong anti-Israel bias. Their behavior is a stain on the college but, more importantly, it 's a reflection on their parents and the kind of values and lack of tolerance they taught their children.
The Dallas Morning News has revealed that a Ft. Bliss Islamic trainer had some ties to terror suspects. But, get this, it appears only after their inquiry did the man get suspended:
...At Fort Bliss, an experienced military trainer was teaching soldiers about his Muslim faith. He, too, had denounced government counterterrorism efforts, and public records show he and some of his closest associates had ties to terrorism suspects.
But when The Dallas Morning News first inquired about the instructor, Louay Safi, military officials praised him. Only later did they say that Safi had been suspended from working on military bases pending a continuing criminal inquiry.
...Safi, a 54-year-old native of Syria, is a military subcontractor who has lectured on Islam for the Army since 2005. His relationship with the Pentagonbegan a year earlier, when he became ISNA's leadership development director, providing Muslim chaplains the religious endorsement they need to work in the military and prison system.
He is one of seven lecturers in the Army's Islamic education program, overseen by the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif. Much of the work is contracted out to Huntsville, Ala.-based Camber Corp., the privately held firm that hired Safi...
Saif is associated with the Islamic Society of North America and was named an uninidicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas terror funding case.
Another trainer is Yahya Hendi who refused to answer the Dallas Morning News questions. The Dallas News article is one you should read and re-read.
Does CAIR Oklahoma have their interns write letters-to-the-editor to counter negative press they believe they or Muslims or Islam receive in Oklahoma?
Late last month, Kristin Reed, an OU senior and CAIR Intern wrote a letter-to-the editor to the Oklahoma Daily about a new group formed by several concerned Oklahomans called Oklahomans Against CAIR Hate who had protested a CAIR event at OU. Reed criticized the Daily for their reporting about CAIR. I, on the other hand, criticized the DaIly for being misleading about the protest including their editorial opinion on it.
Sheikh Abd Al-Hamid Al-Atrash, who is the former head of the fatwa council at the influential Al-Azhar Institution, issued a fatwa or a religious ruling/opinion against using Facebook:
...“One must not go into this website,” he said. “Moral corruption has spread among young men and women and it’s used to destroy homes and break down families, which could herald the end of Arab and Islamic societies.”
“This website and other means of communication such as satellite television are a double-edged sword,” Al-Atrash continued. “They can be used for preaching about Allah and strengthening bonds of affection that Islam encourages, but it can also be used for forbidden love and illegitimate relationships.”
Two Christian pastors agreed to participate in a religious dialogue in Tanzania last fall but, instead, were arrested for illegal preaching after they were apparently tricked:
...Anglican evangelists Eleutery Kobelo and Cecil Simbaulanga, released on bail and facing a hearing on Feb. 11, told Compass that Christian and Muslim groups organized the inter-faith debate that was planned for a neutral venue in October of last year in the Kariakoo area of Dar es Salaam.
Kobelo said no Muslims showed up at the debate until Islamists arrived with government security agents who charged them with “using religious sermons to incite Muslims and Christians into viewing each other with suspicion.”
“This continuous intimidation by the Muslims using the police is worrying us,” he said...
Islamism, is the advancement and eventual enforcement of Islamic supremacy. In Tanzania, the majority of the population are Christians, at around 62%, but it looks like Islamists are exerting a lot of power in certain areas..
North Carolina's long-time Democratic State Senator, Larry Shaw ,will not seek reelection to another term. He was named the Chairman of CAIR's National Board last March and I wonder if his association with this Islamic organization which was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas terror funding trial had anything to do with his decision not to run.
A New York City Muslim chaplain by the name of Zulqarnain Abdu-Shahid was arrested yesterday after an x-rays discovered three box cutter blades and a pair of scissors in his bag at the Manhattan Detention Center as he was entering the complex..
Adbu-Shahid, 58, converted to Islam while he served 14 years in prison for murder. Later, and don't ask me how, he was hired by the New York City Department of Corrections as a Islamic chaplin who was paid a salary of $49,000.

Fifty 50 Americans may have joined far left British George Galloway, on a "Viva Palestina" convoy to deliver supplies and money to the people of Palestine and, of course, Hamas, a foreign terrorist organization. Ultimately, George Galloway was thrown out of Egypt on January 8th after a policeman was killed in clashes with his mission. But, Galloway was successful in getting a convoy into Gaza days earlier.

A strong warning about the possibilities of an attempted or completed attack by al Qaeda came today from Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair, who spoke before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
A number of Democrats have taken, what could be called the side of the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, since they urge President Obama to pressure Israel to remove their blockade which protects the citizens of Israel from another terrorist attack by Hamas, a group classified as a foreign terrorist organization by the U.S. government.
Hamas violently overthrew Gaza Strip in 2007 and embedded themselves among the civilians. Yet, the Dems who signed the letter want Israel to ease the blockade! What about calling for Hamas to get out of there?
Furthermore, Qatar-based Islamonline, which is chaired by the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Yusef Qaradawi, who is banned from entering the United States for his fatwas that approve of killing Israelis - including women and children, has a copy of the letter!
This is how Islamists and their Democratic partners have worked their way into the very fiber of American government.

Australia plan touse full body scans on flights to the United States as one way to stop terrorists. They also unveiled a new religious rehabilitation program to stop radical Islam in their prisons. After many redrafts, Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and his senior ministers finalized their White Paper on Counter Terrorism on January 31, 2010.
However, in Britain, the Daily Mail reported al Qaeda plans to surgically implant bombs.
One observation I've noticed, and maybe it's just me, but it seems that Muslims who stand against our government, spout anti American rhetoric and partner with CAIR, an outgrowth of the Islamic supremacist Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America and theleft, seem to complain they are the victim more than any other group in America.
Yesterday, Muslim protested in Dearborn, Michigan about the killing of a controversial Imam in an FBI shootout last October which occurred when they were trying to arrest him.
I rarely use WND as a source because they don't link to the cited sources. But, since they claim they talked directly to the IRS, WND made the bold statement that CAIR National hasn't filed their 2007 or 2008 tax returns! If WND is wrong, then CAIR can quickly call them out.
After a 3rd year of not filing their taxes, CAIR will loose their tax-exempt status. It appears from WND each chapter files separately amd most have done so.
CAIR proudly declares in every press statement they issue they are America's most prominent Islamic civil rights association - but if they don't even file their tax returns.
Somalia is becoming more and more dangerous as Islamic terrorists try to control the failed state. If they succeed, they will create a country controlled by harsh Islamic law and could have a base for carrying out attacks elsewhere.
...The failed Horn of Africa state has not had an effective central government for nearly two decades, leading to the rise of warlords, heavily armed criminal gangs and pirates who have been terrorising shipping off its long coastline.
In a statement dated last Friday but seen by Reuters on Monday, al Shabaab and the smaller Kismayu-based Kamboni rebel group said they had put their differences behind them.
"We have agreed to join the international jihad of al Qaeda ... We have also agreed to unite al Shabaab and Kamboni mujahideen to liberate the Eastern and Horn of Africa community who are under the feet of minority Christians," the statement said.
"We have united to revive the military strength, economy and politics of our mujahideen to stop the war created by the colonisers, and to prevent the attacks of the Christians who invaded our country."
The world continues to be in danger from Islamist aggression supported by jihadists soldiers.
