The Muslim Brotherhood (i.e., Ikhwan Arabic: إخوان) is an Islamic supremacist organization and movement founded in Egypt in 1928 shortly after the Islamic Ottoman Empire (hegemony) ended in 1924. It was started by Hasan Al-Banna and grew into a global Islamist movement with a presence in the United States. Most members and supporters in America keep their identity hidden. It was outlawed in Egypt for a number of years because of their supremacist and sometimes radicals views until the uprising there in 2011. I suspect these recent "freedom" revolutions will be used by the Brotherhood for their own benefit and advancement by appealing to all who want freedom (but many do not have) claiming they also support freedom but it is an Islamic supremacist organization.
Ingrid Mattson is the immediate past president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and a current member of their executive council. She will be speaking this Sunday in Tulsa at an "interfaith meeting" at the Grace Lutheran Church headed by Rev. Mason Beecroft about Islamic law:
CAIR Oklahoma's new director Muneer Awad was interviewed on 77WABCRadio by Aaron Klein on November 7, 2010. It got real interesting when questions about the Muslim Brotherhood came up and its relationship to CAIR. Awad's answers are typical for CAIR when they are pinned down about those nasty facts that haunt them.
CAIR Oklahoma tweeted today a link to article in the obscure Village Voice which slammed the viewing a documentary called the Third Jihad by the New York City Police counter-terrorism unit as anti-Muslim when the film is, in fact, about Islamic supremacy, its drive for power through non-violent political means, as well as violent methods. It is not an attack against spiritual Islam.
Conflating Islamism as an attack against ALL Muslims is a deceptive political ploy used by CAIR, other Islamist groups and their leftists partners. CAIR New York issued a press release: CAIR Asks NYPD to Probe Use of Anti-Muslim Training Film using the left-wing article to help prove their point. CAIR-NY Board President Zead Ramadan compared "The Third Jihad" to past propaganda such as the Nazi-era film "Triumph of the Will" or "Birth of a Nation," which vilified African-Americans".
See how this works?
Watch part one of Third Jihad and judge for yourself. It features my favorite anti-Islamism Muslim, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser (get to know him). He was ostracized by the Muslim community in America.
Last Sunday evening, Muneer Awad, the director of CAIR Oklahoma, spoke at an Advocates for Peace Rountable titled COUNTERING THE WAVE OF ISLAMOPHOBIA put on by left-leaning Okies held in Norman at St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church. Other panelists were Malaka Elyazgi, Michael Korenblit, co-founder and president of the Respect Diversity Foundation of Oklahoma; and Nathaniel Batchelder, director of the Peace House in Oklahoma City.
CAIR Oklahoma's website features a video of a TV interview (CAIR OK link) with Zahra Billoo the director of CAIR's chapter in San Francisco, who is, OMG, a self-described anarchist Muslim! Billoo and the MSNBC host blasted the congressional hearings planned by Rep. Pete King to explore the root cause of radicalization.
Last night one of CAIR's most outspoken directors, Dawud Walid, out of their Michigan chapter participated in a religious freedom panel sponsored by the Interfaith Council for Peace and Justice (ICPJ) held at the Ann Arbor District Library. You know, the ACLU types.
Texas Representative Leo Berman proposed yesterday a constitutional amendment that could go before the voters that would prohibit any state court from enforcing, considering, or applying a religious or cultural law.
The Egyptian Ambassador to the Vatican was interviewed about the Pope's comment calling for the world governments to help protect Christians. Egypt responded by recalling this ambassador in protest. RomeReport Video:
Muslim leaders in Oklahoma seem to be scurrying about as they try to mitigate some of the damage caused by a lawsuit filed by Muneer Awad, the new director of CAIR Oklahoma, against the state over a new constitutional amendment, SQ 755, passed by 70% of Oklahomans who voted that bans foreign and sharia laws from consideration in state courts. They started off with a couple of fluffy PSA videos after Oklahomans were called all kinds of vile names leading up to the election which still continues to this day.

The rise of attacks on Christians in the Middle East and Africa got the attention of the Obama administration who responded in a rather tepid way. These attacks are, yet again, another disturbing sign of the serious, life-threatening threat we face from Islamists and their terrorist minions. The administration has previously chosen to describe these daily threats in sharia-compliant generic terms, I might add:
"Imagine if we had an Islamic state that was not backward, not secular, nor controlled by the US, how much more would we be able to achieve?" ~Grande Stradegy
The Executive Director of CAIR's chapter in San Francisco, Zahra Billoo, describes herself as an anarchist Muslim on her twitter page. An anarchist, as most of you know, is someone who rebels against government authority who can sometimes support violence to achieve the end. Of course, I cannot speak about the depth of her anarchist desires.
