Islamic Society of Tulsa host '93 World Trade Center alleged unindicted co-conspirator!

 

The Islamic Society of Tulsa hosted a dinner last Sunday night at their mosque which featured Imam Siraj Wahhaj who was there to promote and/or raise money for ICNA Relief USA.  In 1993, Wahhaj was named an alleged unindicted co-conspirator in the first World Trade Center bombing.  ICNA Relief USA parent is the Islamic Circle of North America which is listed in a Muslim Brotherhood document that set forth their plans to destroy America's democracy  so Islamic supremacy can rein supreme (see document link below).

Imad Enchassi, the Imam at the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City wrote on his facebook page yesterday he has a dream for Arab nations to unite under one leader. 

Tulsa Police captain Paul Fields refused to order officers to attend mosque event reassigned!

The Islamic Society of Tulsa invited the Tulsa Police Department to a "Law Enforcement Appreciation Day" event at their mosque that was scheduled, probably deliberately, to be on Friday, the day for Muslims main weekly prayer like Sunday is for Christians. The officers were invited to watch the 45 minute prayer service and/or tour the mosque and/or listen to presentations on their Islamic beliefs upon requested or ask questions about Islam or they could just come and eat the food.  I'm not really seeing the appreciation here as much as I'm seeing outright proselytizing under the banner of appreciation.  Police officers shouldn't be ordered to attend an event centered around religious proselytizing but that is what appears to have happened in Tulsa.

After police officers were asked to go on a voluntary basis and not enough signed up it then became mandatory in a memo sent out by Deputy Chief Daryl Webster.  The memo dated February 17th ordering the police captains to have officers at the mosque is titled "TOUR OF MOSQUE - MARCH 4th"and the email from Sheryl Siddiqui/Islamic Society of Tulsa, which was attached said to let her know how many were coming so she could have enough food and TOUR GUIDES!  Nothing was written whatsoever about any plans specifically for appreciation of the officers, which seems odd!  Nothing. 

Captain Paul Fields felt it was illegal to order his officers to go and he believed it violated his civil rights and personal religious convictions, according to a story (with supporting documents) obtained by Channel 6 in Tulsa.  His memo to Webster obtained by Channel 6 is worth reading.  It states past invitations to like events were voluntary and the invitation to tour the mosque or to watch the prayer and/or learn of their religious believes was not part of the duties of a police officer.  He felt being forced to enter a mosque outside of an official police call was a violation of his rights.

Webster wrote back to Captain Fields that in the past Catholic clergy invited officers to participate in services and attendance was always voluntary. He said the Islamic Society of Tulsa event was a secular law enforcement function that just so happens to take place in a venue associated with a religious belief. How Webster determined the secular part is beyond me since the invitation, although come and go, specifically asked the officers to watch the Friday Islamic prayer service, take a mosque tour, listen to a presentation on their Islamic believes and ask questions about Islam.

Webster wrote if Capt. Fields refusal became public their department would be subject to disrepute.

On Monday, Captain Fields was temporarily reassigned to another station by Tulsa Police Chief Chuck Jordan.

I don't think an officer should be ORDERED to attend any event at a religious place of worship! It should always be optional. But, this particular invitation could be considered all the more controversial for the following reasons, as well:

The Islamic Society of Tulsa (IST) has or had rather close associations with organizations and/or individuals who were named unindicted co-conspirators in the largest Hamas terror-funding case in U.S. history (U.S. vs. HLF Case 3:04-cr-00240 Document 656-2) like CAIR, the Islamic Society of North America (IST constitutionally tied to them), North American Islamic Trust, Jamal Badawi (Muslim Brotherhood leader who represented them in a debate) and a top Muslim Brotherhood leader in Kuwait today, Tariq al Suwaidan, who gave them the money to buy a mosque.

CAIR uses on-going activism to work against the FBI and other law-enforcement agencies! The FBI cut ties with them because they have refused to answer questions regarding their leaders ties to Hamas. Sheryl Siddiqui is CAIR's secretary for the Oklahoma chapter and one of the main spokespeople for the Islamic Society of Tulsa.

The Islamic Society of North America was specifically named an organization the Muslim Brotherhood set up in America to help them destroy our democracy for Islamic supremacy. CAIR was named in a Muslim Brotherhood's Palestine Committee document along with the Holy Land Foundation. We are known and also judged by the company and associations we keep and theirs are very troubling.

Suhaib Webb's "virtual mosque" praised Yusef Qaradawi's book on jihad as a masterpiece!

Imam Suhaib Webb is a rising American Imam that's been groomed by the Muslim American Society.  He was born William Webb in Oklahoma and raised a Christian until he converted to Islam as a teenager. He studied Islam at the hard-line Al-Azhar University in Egypt. This is the same place where the Imam at the Islamic Society of Tulsa, Dr.Mohamed Al Gobashy (ElGhobashy) studied.  Webb found Islam through hip hop music "which was kind of laced with the teachings of Islam due to the Nation of Islam and Malcolm X,” according to a 2008 interview (archive page) at Egypt Today. Webb's move to Egypt in 2004 was sponsored by the Muslim American Society, which was started by an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood here.  Webb lives in California now but comes to Oklahoma to preach, from time to time.

Get to know John Esposito

Yesterday John Esposito who is a professor of International Affairs and Islamic Studies at Georgetown University and a Catholic convert. spoke at Montana State University.  Today the Bozeman Daily Chronicle wrote Islamic consultant says paradigm must change which I just have to talk about a little bit.  He claimed our views of Muslims are too narrow-minded and that our support of totalitarian regimes was a problem.  That's hardly fair.  The U.S. has nothing to do with who gets in power in the Middle East or other countries or how they set up their laws and constitution.  We pretty much have to play with the cards dealt us.  He also claimed women in two towns in Saudi owned most of the land to help lessen the sad reality they aren't allowed to drive in that country.

First, Esposito has a troubling history which should be reviewed.   I wrote a comment in the Chronicle and decided to post it here:

The women own the majority of land in parts of Saudi Arabia?  Hold on a minute  while I go get my boots on!   Heck, I don't think Saudi woman can vote or go anywhere without a guardian.  The local Imam in my state said it was because most of the Saudi women have chauffeurs.  Sure.

Esposito is the founding director of the Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Islamic Center at Georgetown, which, I think, could be argued an example of Saudi bought influence/propaganda here.

He testified for the defense in the Holy Land Foundation which ought to tell you something, too (USA v. Holy Land Foundation 3:04-CR-240-G ND TX November 4, 2008) This was the largest Hamas terror-funding trial in U.S. history so his testimony should be reviewed.   here's a whole lot to know about Esposito. 

The better educated Americans become about the infiltration of the Muslim Brotherhood operations/organizations and Saudi influence and those who support it within our country, the more we can participate to the fullest at these kinds of meetings.  Also study the polls done in Islamic countries and with Muslims, in general.   For example, you may find the majority of Muslims in any given a country want punishment for those who leave Islam.

We must have frank discussions at these types of meetings.  To do this well we need to have a thorough knowledge about political Islam (i.e., Islamism - a religious ideology that includes the source of power, ruling order and laws and includes the striving to achieve that end).  Political Islam is different from the quiet PRIVATE practice of one's religion.  Also, research if the speaker has a history of islamist associations.  Do you know the organizations set up in America by the Muslim Brotherhood?  If you don't know then you have work to do. Then, and only then, can we ask the right questions.   Becoming well-versed in this takes time, so get started.  Please do it for our future.

Freed terrorist in his own words; willing to kill American soldiers

Mohammed Junaid Babar, a convicted terrorist who aided al Qaeda, was freed after only 4 years in prison.  In a 2001 video (Guardian) he said his loyality isn't to America but to Islam and was willing to kill American soldiers. 

Now we find out in documents just made public he was freed two years ago after working out a deal and being a witness in a couple key terror trials. 

This one could come back to bite us.

States move to ban sharia/foreign law in 2011

Last fall Oklahoma was the first state to ban foreign and/or sharia law from consideration in state courts.  The director of CAIR Oklahoma, Muneer Awad, then sued the state and the certification of the vote was temporarily stopped by a judge appointed by President Clinton.  The State Election Board advised the court they will appeal the ruling.

The Muslim Brotherhood claims this website is the work of a human rights group.  Here's the link to this page on their Arabic website.  But a few days ago, I took a screen shot of a message they had posted that an enemy list would be created by "rebels".

Warning: Multiculturalism is a major failure!

Multiculturalism, that is immigrants who don't assimilate into a single unified society, has been a colossal failure in Europe.  First,  it was German Chancellor Angela Merkel who raised the alarm last October when she said German Multicutural society has failed (video). Last week Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron blamed it for Islamic extremism (video) and urged others to get to the root of the problem. 

Yesterday, France's president agreed;  France's Sarkozy: Multiculturalism Has Failed (video). 

"We have been too concerned about the identity of the person who was arriving and not enough about the identity of the country that was receiving him," Sarkozy said.

Muneer Awad thanks Peter Bergen for downplaying the Muslim Brotherhood!

Wow!  Talk about being a shill for an Islamic supremacist group.  Last night on CNN's Piers Morgan show Peter Bergen was briefly questioned about the danger of the Muslim Brotherhood.  Muneer Awad, the director of CAIR Oklahoma then tweeted a thanks to him and called critics fear-mongers.  Keep in mind, Bergen was ONLY asked about the Muslim Brotherhood.

Owner of Al Jazeera met with Hamas leader!

As protesters in Egypt turn more ugly today, I've been reading tweets from those on the left who partner with Islamists calling for Al Jazeera to be added to American cable channels.  Its owner is Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani of Qatar who is picture meeting here in 2009 with a leader of the designated terrorist group Hamas whose written goal is to seeks the destruction of Israel for Islamic supremacy.  Their parent, the Muslim Brotherhood, seeks destruction of America, as outlined in their own written plans.
