The Islamic Society of Tulsa hosted a dinner last Sunday night at their mosque which featured Imam Siraj Wahhaj who was there to promote and/or raise money for ICNA Relief USA. In 1993, Wahhaj was named an alleged unindicted co-conspirator in the first World Trade Center bombing. ICNA Relief USA parent is the Islamic Circle of North America which is listed in a Muslim Brotherhood document that set forth their plans to destroy America's democracy so Islamic supremacy can rein supreme (see document link below).
The Islamic Society of Tulsa (IST) has a troubling history. In the 90s their Imam was Nabil Sadoun who was deported last year for his ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. According the the Dallas Morning News Investigates Blog, "...Federal authorities say Sadoun, when applying for an immigrant visa in 1993, failed to disclose his role in founding the United Association for Studies and Research...Former leaders of UASR include a top Hamas official, Mousa Abu Marzook, --- and Abdurahman Alamoudi, who is imprisoned... In the 1990s, he was an imam at a mosque in Tulsa, Okla."
A mosque was paid for by Tariq al-Suwaidan, a top Muslim Brotherhood leader in Kuwaitt. In 2008, IST invited Muslim Brotherhood leader, Jamal Badawi, to represent them in a public debate. Badawi's picture is featured on IST Peace Academy's website today. Badawi was one of 3 incorporating founders and directors of the Muslim American Society. MAS was described as an overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in U.S. vs. Sabri Benkahla on page 58 (bottom). In a Muslim Brotherhood phone book (exhibit U.S. vs. HLF) Nuridine (Nuredine) Giayash,is listed on page 4. Giayash is the director of IST's Peace Academy. Hamas leader Mousa Marzook is listed on page 3. On the first page of the phone book under the title “Members of the Board of Directors” were fifteen names. Among those names are Ahmad Elkadi, Jamal Badawi, and Omar Soubani: the founding incorporators of the Muslim American Society (MAS).
IST partners with CAIR, the Islamic Society of North America, the North American Islamic Trust who owns the title to their property and the Muslim American Society. All were named unindicted co-conspirators in the largest Hamas terror-funding trial in U.S. history! These organizations were also listed in an Explanatory Memorandom a Muslim Brotherhood document (U.S. District Court Northern Texas) stating their plans to destroy our democracy for Islamic supremacy with the execption of CAIR, which was not started at the time the plan was put in writing in 1991. Dr. Jamal Badawi Foundation is named on page 26. The plan sumarized goals already achieved and what they hoped to achieve. The Muslim Brotherhood plan wasn't discovered by the FBI until 2004 so it was in place for many years. CAIR was later started by leaders of the Islamic Association of Palestine, which was listed in the MB plan. CAIR was mentioned a few years later in a 1994 agenda document for the Muslim Brotherhood's Palestine Committee.
In the constitution for the Islamic Society of Tulsa it states "The Muslim Student Association of the Tulsa University (also known as MSA) is recognized herein as a Founding Affiliate of The IST." The Muslim Student Association was one of the first organizations set up by the Muslim Brotherhood dating back to the 60s.
IST top spokesperson, Sheryl Siddiqui, has been CAIR Oklahoma's secretary since the Oklahoma chapter was started in 2007.
I might as well remind everyone this Friday the Islamic Society of Tulsa will host a Law Enforcement Appreciation Day which caused quite a bit of controversy when police captain, Paul Fields, refused to order his officers to attend after few, if any, voluntary RSVPs were received. The invitation from IST asks officers to watch the weekly Friday prayer, or take a tour of the mosque, or ask questions or listen to presentations about their beliefs which seemed to be an attempt to promote Islam to the Tulsa police force rather than show appreciation to them. Fields was reassigned and filed suit.
Update 3/3/11: Californians protest similar event in mid-February. (video) CAIR Oklahoma tweeted that it was a hate-mob who protested this event.
