Tomorrow there will be an Islamophobia conference at the University of California at Berkeley. CAIR's co-founder and executive director, Nihad Awad, who was a former leader of the Islamic Association of Palestine, an over arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, will be speaking. Also speaking will be CAIR's San Francisco director and self-described anarchist, Zahra Billoo and others.
If you scroll down the page to the sponsors you'll see one logo displayed:
This is the logo for the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization or ISESCO that was created by the Organization of Islamic Conference which is the largest inter-government Islamist organization in the world based in Saudi Arabia. ISESCO's primary objective is to "strengthen cooperation among member states in the field of education, science and culture". The U.S. is not a member state of the OIC, however, so why is it one of the sponsors at an event at a university in California?
Some critics believe the OIC is a caliphate in the making. It has claimed it has a mandate to protect all Muslim immigrants living in non-Muslim countries and stated last summer it will begin partnering with Islamic organizations in America It also has its own International Islamic Court of Justice to be used to settle international law disputes and a Fiqh Council (sharia law rulings).
Any questions?
