"...I have seen pictures of women in the West and find their dress to be horribly immodest. I would never want to show parts of my body the way Western women do because I don't think women who do that can be respected." --- “I understand that some Westerners condemn our practice of polygamy, but I also know they are wrong, ---i have heard men in the West divorce their wives to marry a younger woman -- Women in the West do not have the protection of the Sharia as we do here." --- Ahlima
This is another example of Islamism (Islamic supremacy) and it was being taught in middle school in Georgia!
Here's a screen shot I took today of a google cache copy of the lesson that caused such an uproar this week at the Campbell Middle School in Georgia. The lesson was posted on the Henry County school's district website.
Screen shot:
For some reason page 147 of the lesson didn't show up on the google cache so its below:
As I understand it, this lesson was supplied to Georgia by InspiredEducators.com. Who serves on Georgia's lesson/school book selection board and how did this happen? It's important you find out what kind of Islamic teachings that may be taking place in your child's classroom.
The googlecache showing the url where I found the anti-West religious lesson was from schoolwires.henry.k12.ga.us.

Update 10/1/11: With uproar in Cobb school, Georgia may pull lesson about Islam
"...The letter from Ahlima is part of a 358-page unit produced by InspirEd Educators of Roswell for use during a two-week segment that Georgia middle schoolers devote to the Middle East. It is paired with a letter from a fictional Israeli woman discussing her own lifestyle..."
...InspirEd Educators, meanwhile, this week filed an incident report with Roswell police citing "terroristic threats."
This article says that Campbell Middle School is in Cobb County but the google cache I found was for Henry Country so its reasonable to assume this lesson was up at these two school districts websites.
