"...I have seen pictures of women in the West and find their dress to be horribly immodest. I would never want to show parts of my body the way Western women do because I don't think women who do that can be respected." --- “I understand that some Westerners condemn our practice of polygamy, but I also know they are wrong, ---i have heard men in the West divorce their wives to marry a younger woman -- Women in the West do not have the protection of the Sharia as we do here." --- Ahlima
This is another example of Islamism (Islamic supremacy) and it was being taught in middle school in Georgia!
In late August, Pew Research released a report on Muslims in America. It's happily titled Muslim Americans: No Signs of Growth in Alienation or Support for Extremism which gives the impression that all is well. Upon further review, I found, though, there's significantly higher support for Islamic extremism among the black Muslims polled! 40%of native-born black Muslim Americans reported they knew there was a great deal and/or a fair amount of extremist support in their communities compared to 20% of all U.S. Muslims, which is bad enough having 1 in 5 Muslims know of this kind of support in America. Support for suicide bombings and for al Qaeda was doubled for the native-born black Muslims than for all U.S. Muslims. Why? Something appears to be very wrong.
Good news! A coalition of Muslim organizations and their leaders in North America issued a press release in support of Michigan's foreign law bill that was introduced this year.
Here's an excerpt from the American Islamic Leadership Coalition:
"A coalition of diverse American Muslim leaders has announced support for a proposed bill in the Michigan State Assembly, HB 4679, that is intended to bar Michigan courts from enforcing any foreign law, if doing so violates any rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and/or the state of Michigan’s constitution.
Like many Americans, members of the American Islamic Leadership Coalition (AILC) have been observing the efforts of a growing number of state legislatures, which are seeking to address the incompatibility of various shari‘ah court systems around the world with the principles and foundations of our Constitutional republic and its laws. As American Muslims, we believe that the law should treat people of all faiths equally, while protecting Muslims and non-Muslims alike from extremist attempts to use the legal instrument of shari‘ah (also known as Islamic jurisprudence, or fiqh) to incubate, within the West, a highly politicized and dangerous understanding of Islam that is generally known as “Islamism,” or “radical Islam...”
On the 17th of August, for the first time in history Oklahoma Muslims prayed on floor of State Capitol at Inaugural Iftar dinner. The event was hosted by Rep. Emily Virgin (D Norman) who had tweeted about it although she left off the key word - Iftar, which is specific to the Muslim holiday of Ramadan.
The founder of U.S. Day of Rage, Alexa O'Brian, was interviewed recently about the far-left anti-corporate, anti-government protest that will begin on September 17th in the Wall Street area of Manahattan, New York. This protest/occupation is also known as Occupy Wall Street.
The"Atlas of the Islamic Conquests" is a reference book sold at some Islamic bookstores in the U.S., like the Dar-us-Salam bookstore in Houston, Tx. There are 490 pages to review. It appears that Islamic conquests was a major part of its history.
Knowing this information would give one the tools to have a thorough discussion with Muslim leaders in your area about its long history of Islamic supremacy. I'd ask what makes any conquests by force Islamic and to explain why.
