I want to express my strong concern the Oklahoma Conference of Churches used money to help finance/support a fund-raising eventfor a chapter of an organization started by leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood's Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP). One of those former IAP leaders, Nihad Awad, is their National Executive Director who has been in this position from its inception. He has been to Oklahoma in support of the Oklahoma chapter.
CAIR raised around $120,000 which was short of their goal. It looked like the people were encouraged to send their pledge to CAIR National based on this photo. Perhaps, I'm wrong although the number is a DC exchange where CAIR National offices is located. Coincidence? Maybe. CAIR OK praised the local Imam: "We also want to designate a special appreciation to our event's inspirational speaker, Imam Imad Enchassi, for helping us raise funds." Imam Enchassi prayed last year on his Facebook wall his desire the Middle East would unite as it was before WW1 with no borders under Divine guidance. This means he's hoping for a new Islamic supremacist caliphate to emerge in the region. Oh, the ramifications for the world should this happen. Yet, this is the goal of Islamists. Is Imam Enchassi's Islamist wish something you support? Would he discuss his hopes openly at an interfaith meeting if this was brought to his attention, Dr. Tabbernee?

I'm sure he's not quite that candid at local interfaith gatherings. I find these statements worrisome because they are about Islamic supremacy which is the cornerstone of Islamism. The tweet below by CAIR's Muneer Awad about the FBI is appalling.
These are but a few of the worrisome statements I've read over the last few years as I've studied Islamism. The good news is there are a growing number of American Islamic groups that are speaking out against Islamic supremacy (Islamism). Twenty of them have formed a coalition called the American Islamic Leadership Coalition. CAIR and like-minded groups are currently on a mission to try derail the recent appointment of one of its key leaders, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom. Some CAIR directors have called him an Uncle Tom, blamed him for creating a climate of MURDER in the death of an Iraqi women in California, even though evidence appears to be leading investigators to look into family problems.
My fear is your organization may not pay attention to the words and actions of CAIR and its supporters over time that are made outside of interfaith gatherings. Perhaps, I'm wrong but this is my impression.
There are many, many other ways to show support for the fine Oklahoma Muslim community we have outside of CAIR, who wants to speak for ALL Muslims and gets really bent if other Muslim leaders dare. Considering the support provided by the Oklahoma Conference of Churches a fundraiser for CAIR, I will find a church charity or cause that aren't associated with your organization which I will help support and promote. I also plan to inform other Oklahomans to the best of my ability.
