What does CAIR do when they receive reports the FBI and other law enforcement officials are questioning more Muslims, of late?
Why, they make sure their fellow Muslims know they do not have to answer any questions, with or without, a subpoena. That's what they do:
CAIR Action Alert 609: "The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said today that its offices nationwide are receiving an increasing number of reports of FBI agents, along with other law enforcement officers, visiting and interviewing American Muslims, particularly members of the Pakistani-American community. Understand that providing information to the FBI or any law enforcement officer, absent a subpoena, is strictly voluntary. You are not obligated under law to answer any questions from law enforcement officers other than providing them with an official identification card...If they do have an arrest or search warrant, you can still exercise your right to remain silent...Should you decide to speak to agents alone despite the risks, note that you may set the conditions of the interview, including choosing when and where the interview is to take place, having a third party present such as a family member or community leader, deciding which questions to answer, and refusing to sign any documents. You may cancel the interview at any time..."
On the other hand, they did advise Muslims to report criminal activity but the overall tone of the action alert is exactly what I would expect from this Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas originated outfit in America.
Razi Hashmi, the director of the local chapter of CAIR in Oklahoma - an organization started by the Islamic Supremacist Muslim Brotherhood (sic), posted an article by loonwatch, a so-called anti-Islamophobic website that Islamists reference when it suits them to help ridicule others.
First of all, jihad is not a Christian term so its use in the title was laughable.
The screen shot captured above shows part of the article Hashmi copied and pasted into his post that claimed it's only right-wing nut jobs wh wrongly imagine there are efforts to promote Islamic supremacy in the U.S. Surely, I don't have to remind Hashmi that one of the founders of the organization he works for said, in print, that Islam should be the highest authority in America?
Or that Hizb ut Tahrir openly promotes in America Sharia Law and a return to the Caliphate. Or, that there's another website which calls for Islamic rule here (screen shot below). And what is worse, these are just a few examples how Islamic supremacists are working here.
So, all this is just the delusional fantasies of right-wing nuts?
These lame attempts to ridicule others for something that is true only helps to strengthen activists against Islamism.
I can think of many other ways to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Barbie:

According to the Women in Islam page managed jointly by the Islamic Societies of Greater Oklahoma City and Tulsa, the reason to cover up is to hide the shame of being a woman: "The main purpose of covering the body is to cover the shame and other physical features so that they remain out of sight of others, to avoid drawing undue attraction, and to prevent the excitement of evil desires in others."
Shame on Mattel. I have to take a stand on this and say I will never buy another product from this company. There's nothing in the Quran that demands a woman cover her entire face or body - only to dress modestly. Repressive Islamic regimes actually force women to dress in full face cover-ups.
Consider contacting Mattel and express politely how disappointed you are with their 50th anniversary decision. Speak even louder with your pocketbook.

Yesterday, David Letterman confessed on his show that he had inappropriate relations with several of his staff. Several? Then he told the audience was a "victim" of blackmail.

President Obama's Muslim Advisor, Dalia Mogahed, on his Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, will be speaking at CAIR's annual banquet! CAIR, an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America, was also named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas terror-funding case.
In fact, she's sharing the keynote spot with Sirjaq Wahhaj, who may have been named a potential unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. I say "may have" because I can't find the actual federal court documents related to this case. So without the actual documents, there's strong speculation about this based on three major newspaper articles listed below which mentioned him in this context.

The move follows "positive political developments" in Lebanon, officials from the UK Foreign Office said.

What could possibly go wrong with this brilliant idea? Pupils told to think like a suicide bomber, Little Green Football wrote as a lead in to an article in the London Telegraph wherein we learn students are being encouraged to think like a suicide bomber.
The exercise is part of a teaching pack aimed at secondary school pupils that has been adopted by the Department for Children, Schools and Families. It requires children to prepare a presentation on the July 7 atrocity – in which 52 innocent people died – “from the perspective of the bombers”..."
What in the hell are you thinking Britain?
A group of NYU students called Take Back NYU! Coalition took over the university cafeteria on Wednesday who seek certain demands be met. Based on some of these demands, I would say a few of the students involved are Muslims.
Could this possibly be just one sign of things to come from some of the Muslim youth in America? How wonderfully well they are representing the "Religion of Peace". I bet their parents are so proud.
Their blog's latest post reads:
Urgent update on the occupation… Feb 20th, 2009 by Take Back NYU!
There is currently no access to the power outlets in the occupied space. The lights are still on, but until further notice, electricity is unavailable to the students inside.
The post just before this one reads:
A prominent head of a Department here at NYU has issued a statement of solidarity with the students involved in the occupation of the Kimmel Center, and much of the faculty in that dept. have taken a stand to support these students as the occupation commences
Helsinki University has also pledged solidarity with the NYU occupation, and recognized the parallels that their demands have with the demands issued by the students here at NYU. Also, the University of D.C. has issued statements of support for NYU and those individuals fighting for student democracy on their campus.

From the New York Daily we read cops clashed early Friday with a band of renegade New York University student protestors and a crowd who came out to support their list of demands. About two dozen members of the Take Back NYU! Coalition have been holed up inside a campus cafeteria since Wednesday night. And despite threats of expulsion and arrest if they didn't leave the building by 1 a.m. Friday, they still haven't budged.
"We're trying to take back our school," one student told the Daily News.
The group wants greater transparency in the university's budget, scholarships for students from Palestine and for surplus supplies to be donated to the Islamic university in Gaza, according to a list of talking points the group handed out to demonstrators.
Update 1:49 PM CT: NYU Student Protest Comes To An End
About 20 members of a student group Take Back NYU had been holed up in the cafeteria of the Kimmel Student Center since Wednesday night.
All students who did not leave by 1 o'clock this morning were suspended.
NYU administrators and students have different stories of how the protest ended just after noon Friday.
"We're grateful it ended peacefully, we did not concede to their demands," said an NYU spokesperson. "We're glad the students seem safe, and we're ready to open and get ready for business on Monday."
"We were basically stormed by security guards and administration," said one Take Back NYU member. "We were physically manhandled by both security guards and administration members. In some cases picked up thrown to the ground ganged up on, four to one."

At around 2pm today, members of Take Back NYU! left the Kimmel Center for University Life, ending a 40 hour+ occupation. Their action made national and international news, and showcased the real power of the new student movement sweeping the globe.
No doubt NYU will begin attempting disciplinary action, but no suspensions, expulsions or arrests can contain what began in the last two days. This fight will carry on in the hands of the dozens of people who made it inside, and the hundreds more who came out to support the occupation. NYU showed it’s irrational need to defend secrecy and its exclusive hold on power, and that alone will drive this movement forward.
For everyone showing support: the real lesson here is that you can act and you can make a difference. Take the lessons from the occupation on to your own struggle, and begin to act yourself. Onward.
