PolitiFacts is a useful website for those of us who follow politics. It received the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting for their coverage of the 2008 election. It's a project of the St. Petersberg Times in Florida.
Here they track President Obama's campaign promises, among other things. So far, President Obama has kept 31 promises and broken 6 of them. including posting of bills 5 days before he signs them into law and ending income tax for seniors who make less than $50,000. Obama has made over 500 promises and most are in the no action category.
Their "Truth o Meter" is also worth checking out. It has categories like "barely true" and "pants of fire" for blatant mistruths. The Truth o Meter is also filed by subject. It appears to be non-partisan but I am a new user and this perception could change over time. In their recent list, President Obama's statement that the number of Muslims in America would make up one of the largest Muslim countries earned him the "pants on fire" designation. Their Obama file shows he's made 58 true statements, while over 120 fall in their 5 categories of partial truths - ranging from mostly true to pants on fire category. 90 statements made by President Obama fell in the half-truth or worse category. That's quite a lot.
