Funding for the event was paid, in part, by the embassies of Saudi Arabia, Lybia, Qatar and Bharian. None of the "local businesses" were identified.
...Many of the evening's speeches included references to the recent sensationalist press conference by four House Republicans — Paul Broun (R-GA), Trent Franks (R-AZ), Sue Myrick (R-NC) and John Shadegg (R-AZ) — who claimed Muslims were “infiltrating” Capitol Hill through placing Muslim interns in congressional offices. Increasing the number of Muslim interns on Captiol Hill is indeed a part of CAIR's agenda, but its an open program implemented by most advocacy organizations. Scores of mainstream newspaper and cable commentators ridiculed the press conference.
“Our children are not terrorists, they are America's brightest prospects,” Mahdi Bray said of the interns.
Dr. Esam Omeish, who vied for a place in the Virginia House of Delegates in last summer's elections, called on Muslims to embrace their citizenship, and said “being Muslim and American are one and the same” because they are “based on the same values.”
CAIR played the video of Rachel Maddow's MSNBC segment deriding the Muslim intern spy before Executive Director Nihad Award took the stage. Awad said the anti-CAIR campaign is rooted in Islamophobia, and told the audience most of the daily hate mail CAIR receives contain attacks on Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

CAIR, an organization that grew out of the Muslim Brotherhood Hamas infrastructure in America, apparently, has sued the authors of Muslim Mafia who allegedly went undercover at CAIR in order gather information to write the book, according Courthouse News Service of which I am not familiar.
The author of a book called "Muslim Mafia" had his son use an alias to get an internship with the Council on American-Islam Relations (CAIR), and use his position to steal thousands of sensitive documents and record meetings, CAIR claims in Federal Court. CAIR claims that Paul Gaubatz conspired with his son Chris Gaubatz to hatch what he calls in his book - "Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That's Conspiring to Islamize America" - "a 6-month counter-intelligence operation."
Chris Gaubatz told CAIR that he was a Muslim named David Marshall, a student at Ferrum College, and that his father was in the construction business, according to the complaint. As David Marshall, he signed confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements.
While an intern, Chris Gaubatz routinely filled the trunk of his car with boxes of sensitive documents - more than 12,000 of them, CAIR claims.

CAIR-OK issued a press release this afternoon regarding an incident that happened at the Sprint Call Center in Oklahoma City on September 26, 2009.
A customer, allegedly, called the call center and, during the course of the call, asked the customer service rep. their name or was told the name. Then, the customer, allegedly, asked the rep. if he was a Muslim, which he confirmed (I say he because the press release used the words "his supervisor"). Then, the customer, allegedly, said they didn't want to talk to the rep anymore, possibly cursed, and the Sprint rep. hung-up on the customer. A week later the rep. was fired.
CAIR-OK described the customer's call a "hate call" and seeks an apology from Sprint.
Sprint has a policy that no employee can hang-up on a customer, period.
The flying Imam case in which six Muslims were removed from a U.S. Air flight for their behavior in November 2006, is nearing a final settlement with papers filed in court yesterday by the defendants attorney, CAIR, minions of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas network in the U.S. claimed victory..
"The settlement of this case is a clear victory for justice and civil rights over fear and the phenomenon of flying while Muslim in the post-9/11 era," said Nihad Awad, CAIR national executive director. "We thank all those who supported the imams through the lengthy and difficult legal process."
...Patrick Hogan, spokesman for the the Metropolitan Airport Commission in Minneapolis, which was also sued by the imams, said the settlement is still in the concept stage and must be approved by the court.

CAIR OK has an internship program that was outlined in their recent on-line request for participants, found at idealist.org,, which includes close monitoring of the media within the state, writing letters-to-the-editor if there is anti-Muslim coverage. CAIR's Oklahoma internship program also includes the opportunity to work with government officials and on projects that include police misconduct, airport racial profiling and cases that include slights such as "prejudiced gesture." Does that mean CAIR-OK would actually go after someone who makes a gesture they deem prejudiced? I'm sorry but I don't know what that even means.
The program involves the updating of a database about abuses in Oklahoma. CAIR-OK goes on to state that the work of interns will be published and featured "as letters to the editor and as perspective pieces in Oklahoma's main newspapers such as the Oklahoman, Tulsa World, as well as community papers, Edmond Sun, Stillwater Newspress, Norman Transcript, City Sentinel, Oklahoma Gazette, and many others."
...According to Myrick, CAIR -- had attempted to infiltrate Congress by placing its interns in certain members’ offices. CAIR admitted to this allegation in a 2007 memo that Myrick now has, which stated that the organization was trying to “influence the policies of those members.”
Specifically, the memo also stated that CAIR was “most interested in the members who serve on the Judiciary, Intelligence, and Homeland Security Committees.”
In her remarks, Myrick announced a request for the U.S. Department of Justice to inform members of Congress and staff about this threat, and for the Sergeant of Arms to investigate whether or not CAIR was successful in placing its interns in Congressional offices. Myrick also called on the IRS to launch a full investigation into the legality of CAIR’s lobbying activities...
CAIR, as most of you know, grew out of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America.
I don't believe any Democrats have taken a public stand with Myrick on this issue. i could be wrong, though. But, the Dems tend to side and partner with Islamist groups.

I urge the rest of my colleagues to join me in denouncing this witch hunt, which is clearly intended to create fear and distrust in our Capitol Hill community."
House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers, Jr. (D-MI) today issued the following statement in support of American Muslim congressional interns: "It shouldn't need to be said in 2009, and after the historic election of our first African-American president, but let me remind all my colleagues that patriotic Americans of all races, religions, and beliefs have the right - and the responsibility - to participate in our political process, including by volunteering to work in Congressional offices. Numerous Muslim-American interns have served the House ably and they deserve our appreciation and respect, not attacks on their character or patriotism."
First, the request to DOJ was to investigate CAIR for their goals to influence as many people in Congress as possible, according to their own document. The request had nothing to do with Muslims in general. It was about the Islamist organization, CAIR. So, the title of the above link is very misleading.

Former Washington Howard University professor Abdelhaleem Ashqar was sentenced to 11 years in prison for his refusal to testify to a grand jury about his relationship with the Palestinian militant group Hamas. He appealed and last Friday the higher court ruled his sentence should stand:

In fact, she's sharing the keynote spot with Sirjaq Wahhaj, who may have been named a potential unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. I say "may have" because I can't find the actual federal court documents related to this case. So without the actual documents, there's strong speculation about this based on three major newspaper articles listed below which mentioned him in this context.
Saad Mohammad, a spokesman for the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City (ISOGOC) told the OKGazatte in an article dated September 2, 2009, that white women make up the largest group of converts, or as some Muslims call it, reverts, this past year. Revert means reverting to the first religion even though Judaism and Christianity predates Islam by hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years. Some would criticize this as part of Islamic supremacy.

Back in 2002, President Bush issued a proclamation declaring Sept. 11 to be Patriot Day every year. But President Obama apparently is trying to trump this dec;aration by declaring this a day of service even though we already have a national day of service on Martin Luther King Day, on the third Monday of January. So is it still Patriot Day, too? I'm so confused.
In any event, it appears there are Muslims eager to help turn the 9/11 anniversary into a day of service which they seem to want to own. This service initiative, according to Mogahed was in the works all summer:
Muslim-Americans Answer the Call (MAAC) is taking part in the first official September 11 Day of Service and Remembrance, a day established by President Obama and Congress to honor the sacrifices of 9/11 heroes, and engage more Americans in serving their communities. Muslims' enthusiastic response to the President's service initiative challenges popular assumptions -- and fears-- that Muslim Americans, a relatively devout religious community, are self isolating and indifferent to the needs of their fellow citizens.
..."Muslim Americans Answer the Call is the true embodiment of the President's call for change," said Dalia Mogahed. "Muslim-American volunteerism this summer demonstrates the community's desire to positively contribute to our country."
One slight problem, though, on the Muslim website MuslimServe website they show 3003 service projects have been completed already but the link to "view all" does not work, at this time. It would be so nice to see where these 3000+ community services took place.

On Saturday September 5th, the Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-OK) will join with the NAACP, the Latino Community Development Agency and the Red Cross to mark National Service Week with Disaster Relief Response Training.
"... This month's commemoration will, in fact, be an occasion for many Muslims to say to citizens of the United States that, contrary to what some people say, "we do not hate you".

Rifqa Bary is a 17 year old Christian. She was born into a Muslim family but converted 4 years ago. After alleging she received death threats from her father for her conversion, she ran away from her home in Ohio and her story made national headlines. The father denies he made any threats to her and she remains in foster care in Florida.
On Monday, her attorney filed an affidavit about the mosque her family attended; the Noor Islamic Center in Columbus, Ohio, and its leader, who was identified by the FBI as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Below are some highlights from the 35 page document (pdf file):
I. THE NOOR CENTER CEO AND THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD
The leader of the mosque, Dr. Hany Saqr, was previously an imam for another area mosque at the same time the largest known Al-Qaeda cell in the U.S. since 9/11 was operating out of the mosque. Additionally, Dr. Saqr was identified in exhibits submitted by the Department of Justice in a recent terrorism finance trial in Texas as being one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in North America – an international organization responsible for birthing virtually every Islamic terrorist organization in the world, including Al-Qaeda. One of his subordinates identified in those trial exhibits was identified in a FBI memorandum as providing $735,000 to Hamas while under Dr. Saqr’s direction.
II. THE NOOR CENTER SCHOLAR AND TERRORIST LEADERS
A former Islamic scholar associated with The Noor Center is Dr. Salah Sultan, a cleric that has been photographed with terrorist leaders designated as such by the U.S. government.
Dr. Sultan has recently appeared on television inciting violence against Jews, and he has previously appeared at events in support of designated terrorist organizations while an active part of the Noor Center community. Following his departure to Bahrain, unconfirmed reports indicate that his US citizenship application has been denied and that he has been banned from reentering the US.
III. THE NOOR CENTER AND EXTREMIST SPEAKERS
A number of extremist speakers have been featured at recent Noor Center events who are on record making statements in support of violence, terrorism and extremism.
Evidence also indicates that some of these speakers have been directly involved in fundraising and supporting the mosque since its inception. One regular speaker and fundraiser for the Noor Center was listed by federal prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing trial.
IV THE NOOR CENTER TIED TO NATIONWIDE FBI TERROR INVESTIGATION
The Noor Center has also been directly tied to the ongoing nationwide investigation into Somali-American youths who have left the U.S. to train in terror camps operated by the Al-Qaeda-linked Al-Shabaab terror organization.

The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) announced today that a Wal-Mart store in that state has agreed to accommodate a Muslim employee's right to pray in the workplace. CAIR-MN said the religious accommodation came after its intervention in the case of a Muslim Wal-Mart employee who was reportedly fired for violating a new supervisor's ban on prayer during work breaks. A previous supervisor had allowed the worker to perform his daily prayers. Following discussions between CAIR-MN and local and national representatives of Wal-Mart, the Muslim worker was re-hired and allowed to perform his prayers during breaks. "We appreciate Wal-Mart's handling of this case and its willingness to accommodate the religious practices of employees," said CAIR-MN Civil Rights Coordinator Zahra Aljabri. Aljabri noted that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Minnesota Human Rights Act protect the right of any employee with a bona fide religious belief to have accommodation in the workplace as long as that accommodation does not cause "undue hardship" for the employer.
Likewise, devout Christians, Jews, Budists, Hindus and so on should take advantage of their right to prayer at work and become more vocal in this regard There is a massive force in the world (i.,e, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hizb ut-Tahrir, Islamists, OIC, and jihadists) who all want Islam to dominate over all other religions and political parties. This ideology is in the Koran and the intent of this book is to bring everyone under Islamic authority. However, it is important to point out there are Muslims in America who do NOT believe in the political component of Islam and they lead a lonely fight against Islamists here in America. Dr. Zuhdi Jasser and his organization, American Islamic Forum for Democracy is one of these brave and strong Muslims. These are the voices of Muslims that need to rise up in America.
Today there was to have been a panel discussion on "The Perspective on Islam" at the American Library Association's (ALA) annual conference in Chicago. It appears, from what I can gather, that a couple Muslim panelists got up in arms because Robert Spencer, an anti-Islamist (not anti-Islam), was also scheduled to speak.
The Council of American Islamic Relations, an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America, got involved and demanded Spencer be removed (i.e., sharia law means no criticism of Islam or Islamism allowed and we demand this from non-Muslim critics in America). CAIR, as most of you know, was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas terror-funding trial.
Three panelists dropped out and the session was canceled by ALA President Jim Rettig who issued a statement which was posted on Library Journal on July 11th:
...“This year, more than 100 member driven committees that represent a variety of backgrounds and viewpoints coordinated and planned 250 programs that focused on various issues including this program on Islam," Rettig said. "The withdrawal of three panelists resulted in the cancelation of a panel discussion entitled Perspectives on Islam: Beyond the Stereotyping, sponsored by the ALA’s Ethnic & Multicultural Information Exchange Round Table (EMIERT)."
Neither Appel’s statement nor the earlier response from ALA President Jim Rettig address the Chicago office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ (CAIR-Chicago) claim that none of the panelists were informed of Spencer’s participation. But on his Jihad Watch web site, the man at the heart of this controversy, Robert Spencer, contests CAIR’s claim, publishing as evidence a month-old email from Appel informing the panelists of his involvement...
A little over three years ago the division between President Bush and the left was probably the greatest when it came to his handling of Islamic terrorism. Here we all were facing the same enemy; Al-Qaeda, its supporters and affiliates and instead of showing a strong united front to combat the Islamist/jihadist network that wanted to destroy our country the left made President Bush the arch bad guy. How our enemies must have rejoiced as this played out in the American press, month after month.
Who was right? What I found over the next three years wasn't what I wanted or expected to find. Frankly, I would have preferred to have any concerns about the nature of our enemy dispelled and gone back to my normal life of not thinking much about it anymore. But that didn't happen. My search for answers eventually led to the creation of this blog in June of 2007.
All that aside, never in my wildest thoughts did I expect some of this research to led me into parts of the Muslim community in Oklahoma. Never.
I learned the Muslim Brotherhood had weapon training sessions and/or camps in Oklahoma back in the 80s which was one of the earliest indications of Islamist influence in this state ( FBI Muslim Brotherhood document, page 16). A video clip of Abdullah Azzam from a documentary called "Jihad in America," which aired on PBS in 1994, identifies a speech he gave in Oklahoma City in 1988 to many of our Muslim neighbors. Azzam was the mentor to Osama Bin Laden and a long-term member of the Muslim Brotherhood! A year later he was assassinated and Bin Laden's group morphed into Al-Qaeda. Azzam was praised as a martyr in a 2007 Al-Qaeda produced video that is still on YouTube!
"...I actually stumbled across it quite by accident. In December 1992 I was a correspondent with CNN and on assignment in Oklahoma City to do some interviews on another subject entirely. On Christmas Day I found myself with nothing to do. While looking for a fast-food restaurant, I passed a convention center where I saw thousands of Muslims dressed in traditional garb congregating in the streets and entering the center. At first, my own ignorance led me to think they might be extras on a movie set.
When I went inside, I discovered what was really going on. They made absolutely no effort to hide their identity or their agendas. Alarmed, I called a FBI official in Washington to see if it was aware of their existence. I was even more shocked to discover the FBI did not know this conference was taking place..."
What this reporter saw at this convention changed his career and life forever. Today, Steve Emerson is an investigative reporter and a leading anti-terrorism expert who shares his knowledge in testimony to Congress and is the executive director the Investigative Project. His critics offer little by way of proof to discredit him such as in a 2007 article by Ahmed Rehab of CAIR-Chicago that linked backed to CAIR's own page on Emerson, which has since been removed (see IP address)! How can you take CAIR's criticism of him seriously when their documentation to back up their claims doesn't exist?
Back in 1993, Osama bin Laden's pilot, Ihab Ali Nawawi, actually received his commercial pilot license at the Airman Flight School in Norman, Oklahoma! A few years later in 1998, the FBI in Oklahoma City warned of concerns about a large number of Middle Eastern men taking pilot training in Oklahoma could be related to "planned terrorist activity."but the memo was never sent to Washington.
Then there's the stone-walled investigation into the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing about possible or coincidental Middle East connections by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher that is still out there trapped in some kind of political limbo. As a result, I started a page title "Islam in Oklahoma - mixed signals" in 2007. That's the same year the Islamic Society of Tulsa brought in Jamal Badawi, who is a known Muslim Brotherhood leader and an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas terror-funding trial, to represent them as their Quranic expert in a very public debate. Badawi approves of Islamic martyrdom to combat aggression or oppression which follows the Islamist mindset. My web-page on Islam in Oklahoma has now grown to 15 pages and highlights a number of mixed signals received from some of our Muslim neighbors and leaders. By no means is it complete. Are these signals unique only to the state of Oklahoma? Somehow, I doubt it.
"Islam in Oklahoma" will continue to be a work in progress that is full of twist and turns that would make a great novel, except it's real.

In the multi-year initiative, American Muslims will sponsor Qurans for distribution to governors, state attorneys general, educators, law enforcement officials, state and national legislators, local elected and public officials, media professionals, and other local or national leaders who shape public opinion or determine policy.
The District Director for California State Senator Carol Liu (D-La Canada) was served last week in a federal fraud and racketeering lawsuit. Tahra Goraya was served on Wednesday, June 10th while at work at the state senator's Glendale office serving the 21st District.
Goraya served as "national director" of the Council on American-Islamic Relations at the time of the alleged fraudulent scheme perpetrated by CAIR and its national leadership in Washington, D.C.
According to the complaint filed by former CAIR clients in November 2008, Goraya was directly involved in the fraud and cover-up. Goraya apparently resigned from CAIR sometime after the fraudulent scheme was fully underway and moved back to her home state of California. There she took a job as District Director for California State Senator Carol Liu. Goraya was served with the summons and complaint at Senator Liu's Glendale offices. She has until June 30th to file her response with the court.
The federal racketeering (or RICO) lawsuit was filed November 18, 2008 in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia by four former CAIR clients. The complaint alleges criminal fraud and racketeering against CAIR, a self-described Muslim public interest civil rights law firm. The lawsuit also names CAIR's national leadership, including Goraya, as individual defendants.
The lawsuit alleges that Morris Days, who served as the "Resident Attorney" and "Manager for Civil Rights" at the now defunct CAIR chapter in Herndon, Virginia, was in fact not an attorney and that he defrauded hundreds of CAIR clients by failing to provide legal services for which they had paid..."

It's welcoming to see some Muslims in Minnesota on Friday take a stand against a controversial Islamic organization which was/is part of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America. About 50 people attended a rally to do just that. Way to go!!!
...At a protest outside the Brian Coyle Community Center in Minneapolis' Cedar-Riverside neighborhood, Abdirizak Bihi, the uncle of Burhan Hassan, who relatives say was killed last week in Mogadishu by a terrorist group, accused the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Minnesota chapter of discouraging local Somalis from cooperating with the FBI.
"We don't want anyone to come into our community and tell us to shut up," Bihi said. "Law enforcement will not be able to do anything without information from the community."
About 50 people attended the rally, waving signs and hollering, "CAIR out! Doublespeak out!"
...Jessica Zikri, communications director for CAIR Minnesota, said that effort is not meant to discourage anyone from speaking to investigators. Rather, the campaign is meant to ensure that people's civil rights are protected, she said. She said the group is willing to meet with families of the missing men.
The mayor of Tampa, Florida, Pam Iorio, decided this year not to have a special day to honor the Council of American Islamic Relations or CAIR after doing so for 4 years.
Mayor Pam Iorio has declined to honor the Council on American-Islamic Relations this year, ending a four-year tradition of proclaiming an annual CAIR Day.
Iorio said the Tampa Jewish Federation suggested several months ago that she take a closer look at CAIR, which has been accused of having ties to terrorist groups.
"We issued the proclamations in the past based on best available information. And now we're not going to issue proclamations based on best available information," Iorio said.
...Ramzy Kilic, executive director of the Tampa chapter of CAIR, accused Americans Against Hate of a smear campaign. He said Kaufman fought expansion of a mosque in Pompano Beach, saying "it should not exist on American shores."
"It's unfortunate that our honorable Mayor Pam Iorio has succumbed to the pressure of anti-Muslim extremists such as Joe Kaufman," he said.
While it doesn't surprise me that Jamal Badawi is featured on this website, it was quite a surprise to read that Pastor Rick Warren is going to be a speaker at their annual convention this year!
The Islamic Society of North America was also identified as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas terror funding trial for their relationship with or to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Rick Warren appears to be embracing an Islamist-linked organization. Has he not read their plans to take over our country? I seriously don't get it.
The ISNA has denied they have any involvement with the Muslim Brotherhood which seeks the world to be under Islamic rule. The FBI has documentations which shows the contrary.
CAIR is praising Sen. Arlin Spector today after he cancelled an appearance at a free speech conference, according the the American Spectator. CAIR claims they are responsible after branding the conference anti-Islam and launched a petition drive against Spector attending the "anti-Islam" conference.
Remember, my fellow Americans, no religion should ever be above criticism. So when CAIR tries to surpress someone from criticism of Islamism or even Islam they are trying to impose Sharia Law onto non-Muslims in a non-Muslim country:

CAIR, an organization that started as an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America, has posted on their website a response they call "Internet Disinformation" about them.
They addressed 8 issues in the 10 page document. I will start with one at a time just because of the time it will take to either confirm or debunk their response. I started in no particular order other than #5 caught my eye first:
Internet Disinformation #5: CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad publicly declared support for Hamas at Barry University in Florida in 1994, saying: "I’m in support of the Hamas movement."
First, CAIR said is was in response to a question about the social programs in Gaza but they didn't provide us with a link to a video that backed up this statement which is really necessary as support documentation.
CAIR went on to say:
"...This statement was made in March 1994, before CAIR was formed. Hamas did not commit its first suicide bombing until October 1994. The United States subsequently identified Hamas as a specially designated terrorist in January 1995.."
According to Wikipedia, the first Hamas suicide bomber was in 1993, with the Mehola Junction bombing. In 1994 there were 4 suicide bombers for a total of 5 bombings before the terrorist designation.
CAIR stated they have consistently denounced violence by Hamas, but in a google search (CAIR's statements against HAMAS) I didn't find one. Nor did CAIR link to any past statements.
The facts don't seem to jive with CAIR's statement on Internet Disinformation #5.

The Investigative Project reported on May 7th that Senators Tom Coburn (R-OK), John Kyl (R-AZ) and Charles Schumer (D-NY) wrote to the FBI on February 24, 2009 for more information regarding the FBI's severing of ties with CAIR, a national Islamic organization which grew out of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America:
"..The Investigative Project on Terrorism was the first to reporton the FBI's decision to break communication with CAIR. That story cited an Oct. 8, 2008 letter from the head of the FBI's Oklahoma City field office, who canceled a meeting of local Muslim community groups because of CAIR's involvement.
...Evidence from the Hamas-support trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) placed CAIR founders Omar Ahmad and Nihad Awad in a group called the Palestine Committee. Internal documents show the committee was created by the Muslim Brotherhood to advance the Hamas cause politically and financially in the United States...'
On April 28, 2009, the FBI responded to their letter:
"...During that trial, evidence was introduced that demonstrated a relationship among CAIR, individual CAIR founders (including its current President Emeritus and its Executive Director) and the Palestine Committee. Evidence was also introduced that demonstrated a relationship between the Palestine Committee and HAMAS, which was designated as a terrorist organization in 1995. In light of that evidence the FBI has suspended all formal contacts between CAIR and the FBI.
The FBI's decision to suspend formal contacts was not intended to reflect a wholesale judgment of the organization and its entire membership. Nevertheless, until we can resolve whether there continues to be a connection between CAIR or its executives and HAMAS, the FBI does not view CAIR as an appropriate liaison partner..."
On May 7th CAIR's Omar Ahmad, the former Chairman Emeritus of the board (archived page from 2007) announced he was stepping down from the board all together.
(WASHINGTON, DC, 4/28/2009) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today called on people of conscience to urge Attorney General Eric Holder to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the Bush administration’s use of torture.
University of California Irvine Muslim Student Union has produced a slick video highlighting a month-long event targeting Israel and the U.S. Their behavior is obviously a reflection of what they have been taught by their parents.
It is shameful and is a distortion of the truth.
To help these Muslim students with their verbal assaults, they enlisted the help of Israel-hater George Galloway, and ex U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney who are featured in their poster above.

My question to all these angry Muslim students. Why is Palestine never mentioned in the Quran and Israel is?
Razi Hashmi, the Oklahoma director for CAIR, an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America, posted on his blog on May 2nd an article from the News&Observer in North Carolina that 20,000 DVDs about Islam titled "A Fog is Lifting" were mailed to the citizens in 3 zip codes in Wake County. But there's so much more to this story than meets the eye.
The Raleigh chapter of the the Muslim American Society took responsibility for its distribution which was an attempt to counter the distribution of the DVD Obssession.
"It's a full-throated defense of the tradition in which Islam is presented as the perfect egalitarian, scientific, pluralistic, modern religion that doesn't have the flaws of all the other religions," said Omid Safi, a professor of religion at UNC-Chapel Hill. "It remains to be seen if it will be seen as preaching to the choir, or if will succeed in persuading people outside the Muslim community, " the paper wrote.
Here is where it gets interesting. The DVDs were created by Bridges Foundation which is based in Egypt and headed by Fadel Soliman.
What the newspaper failed to tell its readers is that Fadel Soliman use to live in the United States until the organization where he worked as the national Imam and/or director, the World Assembly of Muslim Youth America (WAMY), was raided and closed down by the FBI in 2004. One could speculate the FBI bought Soliman a one-way ticket out of the U.S. but I can't confirm this really happened. But he sure doesn't live in America anymore.
WAMY in America was founded by the nephew of Osama Bin Laden! His former residence was located in the Washington suburb of Falls Church, Virginia, just a few blocks from where four of the 9/11 hijackers lived, according to discoverthenet.
"The World Assembly of Muslim Youth is also one of the vehicles through which the Saudi Wahhabi government funds Islamic extremism and international terrorism. WAMY was co-founded by Kamal Helwabi, a former senior member of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, and by Osama bin Laden'snephew, Abdullah bin Laden(who served as WAMY's President through 2002 and is now its Treasurer). A federal appeals court affirmed a lower court's ruling that dismissed a lawsuit against FBI agents who conducted raids on certain Muslim businesses and homes in Herndon, Virginia in 2002. This is an important ruling in that these raids helped expose some of the Islamist networks in America. These networks largely thrived under the Clinton administration although I do give him credit for declaring Hamas a terrorist organization in 1995.
Two of the Muslims that were charged were well-educated and prominent Muslims in our country. One Muslim, Sami Al-Arian (pictured left), pled guilty in aiding a terrorist organization but has refused to testify in the Herndon case. He is credited with helping form the Islamic Society of North America on Islamonline, which is chaired by martrydom/terror-supporter Yusef Qaradawi.
The other, Abdurahman Alamoudi (pictured right) had worked his way up to the highest levels in our government. He is now serving a 23 year prison term for his terrorist activities. U.S. intelligence had him on their radar since 1994 but did not charge him until 2002.
CAIR and the Muslim American Society, are American Islamic organizations that grew out of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America. They have stood with Al-Arian and Alamoudi.

"...The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit said the March 2002 raids on homes and business in Herndon and elsewhere in Northern Virginia were "a harrowing experience" for the targets but did not violate their constitutional rights. The court said agents exercised "lawful force" in drawing their guns and handcuffing a family whose home was searched.
Federal agents carted away hundreds of boxes of documents during the searches from some of the most established Islamic organizations in the United States. They were looking for evidence of an international network to finance terrorism, part of what federal officials have called the nation's largest terrorism-financing investigation.
Muslim leaders denounced the raids as violations of their civil rights and have strongly denied terrorist ties. A Herndon family sued federal agents involved in the raids, asserting that the agents had fabricated evidence to obtain a search warrant, falsely imprisoned family members by restraining them in their home and violated their civil rights.
The raids have led to several indictments and the conviction of prominent Muslim activist Abdurahman Alamoudi, who admitted that he plotted with Libya to assassinate the ruler of Saudi Arabia.No charges have been filed against the Herndon-based cluster of companies and charities that are at the center of the investigation, and their attorneys and some Muslims have long labeled the raids a fishing expedition.
Sami al-Arian, a former Florida professor who earlier pleaded guilty to aiding a terror organization, is now charged with refusing to testify before a federal grand jury in the Herndon probe. A federal judge has not ruled on a defense motion to dismiss those charges..."

According to the US government, Alamoudi was Osama bin Laden’s point man in the US, and was used by bin Laden as a conduit to funnel money to “blink sheikh” Omar Abdel-Rahman (currently serving life in prison for his involvement in planning the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and plotting other terrorist attacks inside the US)..."
CAIR has been after Florida House leader Rep Adam Hasner (R). Yesterday, during the opening prayer in the house, which was Islamic, Hasner left the chamber and then returned after it was over.
Rep. Hasner represents the Boca Raton area. In 2005, when a Muslim physician from Boca Raton was arrested for supporting Al-Qaeda it was CAIR Florida who came to his defense (page 3). The physician was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
"...The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) cited the apparent walkout as an additional reason for Hasner to step down from his leadership post.
Yesterday, CAIR called on Republican Party leaders to remove Hasner from his post because he co-hosted a recent event at which the speaker said Islam should not be recognized as a legitimate faith and Muslims should not have religious freedom..."
CAIR is well known for going after public officials who criticize Islamic activities that cause them concern. Usually, this has to do with the political component of this religion, which is called Islamism. Political Islam can and does lead to Islamic rule.
Political Islam is in the Quran, as is theological Islam.
CAIR refuses to distinguish between political Islam and theological Islam and is the outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America.
Other Muslim leaders do make this distinction, such as Zuhdi Jasser, M.D., a former Navy Lieutenant:
“...Islamist doesn’t always mean terrorist. There are some studies showing that five to 10 percent of Muslims actually condone terrorism, but political Islam is an ideology that may include 50 to 60 percent of Muslims globally,” he told FamilySecurityMatters.org in an interview in March 2008. Jasser is also critical of certain Muslim lobbyist groups in Washington, notably the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). That particular group, in his words, doesn’t outright condemn “the idea of an Islamic state...”
Islamism is a totalitarian religious ideology and is what we see rule most Islamic countries. For example, Egypt once was a predominately Christian country until Islamism took it over.
It is important to know CAIR is not working alone to move Islamism forward by first shutting down criticism of it.
The OIC is a Saudi-based Islamic organization with UN status and an office in New York. The OIC has been successful in getting non-binding resolutions put through the U.N. Human Right's Council urging that criticism of Islam should be a crime even down at the local or regional level.
The OIC is the largest Islamic organizational body in the world. When I called them out about their Fiqh Council's approval of martyrdom, the Academy's website was pulled from the Internet. Luckily, I was able to retrieve an archive copy of it which states it is their subsidiary. Coincidence?
CAIR's efforts to go after American leaders who are critical of Islamism, often with the help of left-leaning organizations, and the OIC's goal to make it a crime to criticize Islam is nothing more than imposing Sharia Law on non-Muslims and non-Muslim countries.

At a "Know your Rights" seminar in Los Angeles last month, a number of Muslims gathered. The message they heard from most speakers: Beware of the FBI!
"As they sipped tea and nibbled on dates, more than 100 men and women listened to a litany of speakers sounding the same message: The FBI is not your friend.
"We're here today to say our mosques are off limits," Hussam Ayloush, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations for Greater Los Angeles, told the crowd last month at an Anaheim mosque.
"Our Koran is off limits," Ayloush said. "Our youth, who they try to radicalize, are off limits. Now is the time to tell them, 'We're not going to let this happen anymore.'
....On Sunday, a coalition of the nation's largest Muslim organizations, including the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the Muslim Public Affairs Council and the Islamic Society of North America, issued a statement demanding that the Obama administration address FBI actions, including what they describe as the "infiltration of mosques," the use of "agent provocateurs to trap unsuspecting Muslim youth" and the "deliberate vilification" of the council.
"It reached a level where we felt we had to do something," said Agha Saeed, chairman of the American Muslim Taskforce on Civil Rights and Elections. "The FBI is doing things which are not healthy. They are creating divisions and conflict, creating a totally negative, Islamophobic image of Muslims in America..."
"...We are fully united in asking the Obama administration to address the following issues: 1. Infiltration of mosques and systematic manipulation of Muslim religious affairs, 2. Use of agents provocateurs to trap unsuspecting Muslim youth, 3. Unfair targeting and deliberate vilification of CAIR, a national Muslim civil rights organization, 4. Use of McCarthy-era tactics, most notably dissemination of Islamophobic analysis by federally-funded 'fusion centers' to local law enforcement agencies."
A coalition of controversial American Islamic organizations and others have sent a letter to Sec. of State, Hillary Clinton, seeking the released of a man held on terror suspicion in the UAE. This letter was sent as CAIR Florida was exposed for promoting books on radical Islam at a booth in Florida

CAIR, which grew out of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America, is at it again, folks. This time CAIR New York is trying to get other U.S. officials to repudiate Rep. Pete King's responses in an interview with MSNBC about DHS' rightwing extremist report that was leaked this week (see video below):
"The New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY) today called on American Muslims and all people of conscience to urge their electedrepresentatives to repudiate Rep. Peter King's (R-NY) bigoted response to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) report released earlier this week about the rising threat of right-wing extremism.
In an interview on MSNBC, Rep. King stated in part: "[Napolitano] has never put out a report talking about look out for mosques. Look out for Islamic terrorists in our country. Look out for the fact that very few Muslims come forward to cooperate with the police. If they sent out a report saying that, there would be hell to pay."
"We urge elected representatives to distance themselves from King's bigoted remarks," said CAIR-NY Community Affairs Director Faiza N. Ali. "Sweeping generalizations about Muslims and mosques have no place in serious national security discourse."
On December 12, 2008 MACLC sent a letter to Janet Napolitano, the new head of Department of Homelands Security, calling on the new Administration to develop security polices that avoid linking religious precepts with terrorism.
Dr. Zuhdi Jasser is a devout Muslim. He is a physician in Arizona and an activist against Islamism (i.e., political Islam that can lead to Islamaic rule). He is a man I very much admire for his convictions and non-stop work to alert Americans about the dangers of political Islam. He has been rejectd by many Islamic organizations in this country. But when he speaks, I pay attention:
"As we try to understand where the Obama administration will fall with regards to the global threat of political Islam, the first few months have provided a number of hints, not least of which was the tenor of the recent visit to Turkey. It was painfully obvious after witnessing the length to which the Obama team went to avoid any substantive discussion on political Islam and the threat it poses to human rights abroad and domestically. Walter Fauntroy (DC-Delegate), Zaid Shakir and Hamza Yusef (of the Zaytuna Institute), Fmr. Capt. James Yee, Senegalese President Abduolaye Wade, CAIR Michigan Director, Dawud Walid, and Johari Abdul-Malik of the Muslim Alliance of North America. This list reads like a Who’s Who of leading Islamists in the United States, all of whom share the ideological framework of political Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood.
For example, Mr. Johari Abdul-Malik spoke just last year at a July 2008 London conference of the “Radical Middle Way”. This Radical Middle Way, sadly British government supported, is an ideological outgrowth of the ideas of Sheikh Yusef Qaradawispiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood..."

This time they are blasting Florida House Leader, Adam Hasner, for being on the host committee of a Free Speech Summit sponsored by the Florida Security Council which features Geert Wilders as a keynote speaker. The International Free Press Society is also on this committee.

CAIR said Rep. Adam Hasner is on the "host committee" for the April 27 conference in Delray Beach, Fla., featuring Dutch anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders. Wilders was recently denied entry to Britain because of his extreme anti-Muslim views, including urging that the Quran, Islam's revealed text, be banned/
......The founder of another conference sponsoring group, Act! for America's Brigitte Gabriel, told the Australian Jewish News: "Every practicing Muslim is a radical Muslim." She also claimed that "Islamo-fascism is a politically-correct word...it's the vehicle for Islam...Islam is the problem."
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton let slip last week that the Obama administration has finally abandoned the phrase "war on terror." Its absence had been noted by commentators. There was no directive, Clinton said, "it's just not being used.
..."Rather, the war on terror, as conceived of by the Bush administration, was targeted at a particular brand of terrorism -- that employed exclusively by Islamic entities. A recent statement by a coalition of major national Islamic organizations cited a number of incidents in which the government unfairly targeted American mosques and Muslim groups and said concern over those abuses could result in the suspension of long-standing community outreach initiatives with the FBI....
"...At a luncheon Sunday for leaders of the EU's 27 nations in Prague, he said the West should seek greater cooperation and closer ties with Islamic nations. Allowing Turkey to join the European Union would deepen that message, he contended.
France, Austria and other nations oppose Turkey's long-running efforts to join the EU. Others in the organization have urged Turkey to do more to guarantee minority rights, curb the powers of its military and pass new rights for trade unions....
...Why again this resurgence of fear and paranoia of Muslims and ignorance surrounding the head scarf? This irrational fear, also known as Islamophobia, is reminiscent of anti-Semitism and racism, and is truly unAmerican..."
"When I read about the arrest of Ahmad Niazi, it was déjà vu all over again. The FBI tries to strong-arm someone into being an "informant;" the intended informant declines; the agency retaliates. It was all strangely familiar. We went through it before in the US, and it was called COINTELPRO, the deliberate misuse of federal investigative agencies to harass people for their beliefs. After awhile it got worse, and we called it Watergate, and it became the biggest constitutional crisis in American history..."
There's interesting developments in Minnesota where FBI agents raided three money transfer locations that may be related to the missing Somalian men in the area who some fear have left the U.S. to fight the Islamic fight in Somalia with a terrorist group related to Al-Qaeda.
CAIR, an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America, is concerned about the legal protection of local young Muslims being questioned by the FBI:
"Federal agents raided three Minneapolis money transfer businesses that mainly serve the Somali community Wednesday, seeking records of financial transactions to several African and Middle East countries.
E.K. Wilson, a special agent for the FBI in Minneapolis, confirmed that agents searched the businesses on the city's south side to track money transactions, but wouldn't disclose any further details.
...The search warrant executed at North American Money Transfer originated in the Eastern District of Missouri and was filed under seal on April 3. It states that FBI agents were seeking any documentation regarding money sent to "any person, business or entity where such transfers were destined for locations in: Somalia, Eritrea, Kenya, Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti, and United Arab Emirates" between January 2007 and the present.
On Wednesday, the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) announced that it had sent letters to area high schools, colleges and universities asking that they provide legal support and assistance to Somali students who have been questioned on campus by FBI officials.
In a statement, CAIR said Somali students have reported that federal agents have approached them in libraries and while they are walking to class. Some have said they have received phone calls from FBI officials instructing them to leave class to talk.
In one instance, CAIR said, a Somali student leader at the University of Minnesota was asked by a campus police officer to attend a meeting with FBI officials "under the guise of outreach."
The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR-MN, says it's received an increasing number of reports from students who say ...

There is an new extensive 72 page report by the Hudson Institute, a non-partisan research group some critics may call conservative or worse, about the Muslim Brotherhood infrastructure in America. I've attached the report at the bottom of this post for your review.
It doesn't matter to me if this report is from a conservative or liberal group, as long as it is the truth. I have not yet seen any report to counter the facts the FBI have revealed to Americans in various court documents about the infiltration of the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S.
Likewise, I'm sure not every person hired to work at the various Islamic organizations in America linked to the Muslim Brotherhood is a MB member. But, I tell you what, I would never work for any organization that had such a controversial history. NEVER!
Below are some excerpts from the report:
"The MB has been establishing its organizational base in the U.S for over forty-five years. An examination of relevant documents, some of which became available only recently, makes it possible for the first time to construct a coherent timeline of how the U.S. Brotherhood has created a wide range of covert and public organizations designed to achieve its purposes.
This report is based on three sets of documents: first, internal U.S. MB documents discovered in the home of one of its leaders and introduced as evidence in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial on terrorism financing;
second, a Chicago Tribune investigation and finally, various public documents, including corporate registrations, media reports, and other open-source material.
These documents reveal that, throughout its history, the U.S. MB has been comprised of a covert infrastructure upon which was built a series of publicorganizations, sometimes referred to by the Brotherhood as “fronts.”

No attempt appears to have been made to “clean house” by bringing in new and untainted leadership. Second, no public attempt appears to have been made by any U.S. Brotherhood organization or leader to acknowledge the history of the Brotherhood in the U.S. Only disingenuous denials have been issued when damaging documents come to light such as those examined in this report. Finally, where detailed investigations have been made of U.S. Brotherhood organizations, they have revealed an extensive history of support for Islamic fundamentalism, anti-Semitism, and support for terrorism that has included ideological, financial, and legal support, particularly for Hamas and other Palestinian terror organizations.

I contacted the committee co-chair's office this afternoon and she confirmed HB 1645 was allowed to die within the committee for this session. The next session starts February 2010.
I wonder if pressure from national Islamic organizations stopped Oklahoma legislators from moving forward on this bill, which would have banned head-coverings in driver's license photo ID.
The way the law currently stands anyone can cover their hair as long as your hair line shows.

CAIR is an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in the U.S. as most of you already know. Now, they want a San Francisco radio station punished for making a joke about Islam.
When will this Islamic organization learn that we do not practice Sharia Law in the United States where no one is allowed to criticize Islam - even if it is truth?
In this country we have freedom of speech. Of course, if the U.S. adopts the U.N.'s Human Rights Council resolution against criticizing Islam then the U.S. will become Sharia compliant but until then...
A coalition of American Muslim organizations have issued a press release today in support of the decision the FBI made to stop their association with CAIR, an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America! Excellent.
This is exactly what hundreds and hundreds, if not thousands of Muslims in America should do.
Congratulations for taking a stand that is brave which appears to reject Islamism (political Islam and the march toward Islamic rule). It's exactly what many Americans needed to see.
These are the Islamic organizations Americans need to see and hear from more often:

We reject any claim that CAIR and its supporters are legitimate civil liberties advocates or appropriate partners between the U.S. government and American Muslims.
We congratulate the FBI for adopting a firmer attitude toward CAIR, as a defense of Americans of all faiths from the menace of radical Islam, including Muslims of all backgrounds - Sunni, Shia, Sufi, secular, etc.
We call on the U.S. Department of Justice to affirm and continue this decision.
We call on the entire United States government to follow suit in rejecting relations with the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

I would think Muslim organizations throughout American would applaud the FBI's effort to find Islamic terrorists lurking among them.
If a known hate group had members joined my church and try to recruit some of its members to carry-out an attack on others, I would welcome their capture. If it took the FBI to go undercover at my church to get them, so be it. Glad they were exposed and arrested. Thank you FBI! This is just plain common sense.

"More Islamic and civil liberties organizations have signed on to a statement by the American Muslim Taskforce on Civil Rights and Elections (AMT), a coalition of major national Islamic organizations, saying that it is considering suspending outreach relations with the FBI over recent incidents in which American mosques and Muslim groups have been targeted.
...The new signatories include the Pakistan American National Alliance, the Peace and Justice Foundation, Muslim Voters of America, and the Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations (CCMO) in the greater Washington, D.C., area. The CCMO represents more than 50 Washington-area mosques, Islamic schools and Muslim organizations.
AMT is an umbrella organization that includes American Muslim Alliance (AMA), American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), Muslim Alliance in North America (MANA), MAS-Freedom, Muslim Student Association-National (MSA-N), Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA), and United Muslims of America (UMA). Its observer organizations include the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) and the Islamic Educational Center of Orange County (IEC).
These Islamic organizations now have deepened the division and mistrust that exits in America with many Muslim organizations because their claim of being a victim doesn't fly here. Had these Islamic organizations thanked the FBI for finding this alleged jihadist instead of criticizing them, most of us would feel we are all on the same page. But we are far from it.
