The Edmond Sun published an opinion piece yesterday about a Muslim appreciation dinner where U.S Rep. Keith Ellison and the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) were featured speakers.
The author, William F. O'Brien, an Oklahoma city attorney, also wrote about CAIR this past May.
I'm just a little curious here - is he the same William F. O'Brien who works for the Oklahoma Attorney General's office as an Assistant Attorney General and General Counsel, whom I confirmed still works there?
Do we have an Assistant Attorney General for the state of Oklahoma shilling for the Council of American Islamic Relations and the Muslims in Oklahoma, on the side? Or are there two men, who are attorneys in Oklahoma City, with the same exact name?
Razi Hashmi, the director of CAIR's office in Oklahoma showed a video of his work which encouraged better understanding of Islam in the state. Lately, the only big news from CAIR-OK is their EEOC efforts against a clothing store in Tulsa, so I'm perplexed about what his video encompassed.
Rep. Keith Ellison told the Oklahoma Muslims they should help provide health care to the needy and assist prisoners re-enter society.
In June, Ellison told the left-leaning National Conference for Media Reform that former President Ronald Reagan made him sick but not as much as Bush does now. He also made a few choice comments about American imperalism.

In July, Ellison was also video-taped comparing President Bush to Hitler! The first Muslim elected to the United States House of Representatives is definitely not without controversy.
Ellison carrying a Nation of Islam paper in the mid 90s:
Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner Jim Roth and his opponent Dana Murphy spoke at the dinner. Republican House member Shane Jett of Tecumseh and Democratic Sen. John Sparks of Norman were in attendance.
Way to go guys. Are you just not doing your homework?
Ellison, the first Muslim elected to the U.S. Congress, has also used the names Keith Hakim, Keith X Ellison and Keith Ellison Muhammad. He co-sponsored a bill with Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney for "high crimes and misdemeanors.
On Dec. 24, 2006, Ellison spoke at a convention held at Dearborn, Michigan for the Muslim American Society and the Islamic Circle of North America, both organizations were created by the Muslim Brotherhood group in America.
Ellison is currently featured in an article about Muslim activism in America on terror-supporter and Muslim Brotherhood supreme spiritual leader Yusef Qaradawi's Islamonline. This article covered his talk at the Islamic Society of North America conference over the Labor Day weekend in a break-out session called "Mobilizing the Muslim Political Machine."
The Islamic Society of North America was named in a Muslim Brotherhood internal document to advance Islam in our country as part of their long-term plan to whittle away at our democracy and make Islam the dominate political power in the decades and centuries to come.
CAIR, as most readers of zTruth know, is an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America of which there is ample documentation. This may explain why CAIR board memberJamal Badawi was invited to speak for the Islamic Society of Tulsa in a public debate as their Quran expert in January. Badawi openly supports the Muslim Brotherhood ideology*. He is a man ID'd by the FBI as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood's Board of Directors in America, who serves today under the chairmanship of Yusef Qaradawi as a board member on several of his organizations.
Full disclosure of Badawi's allegiance to the Muslim Brotherhood was withheld from the packed Oklahoma audience.
There's a problem with any Islamic organization in America, such as CAIR or the Islamic Society of North America, who appear so aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood whose spiritual leader has issued religious rulings that approve of martyrdom operations inside Israel, including the killing of women and children.
It's troubling when Oklahoma Muslims, who want us to believe their anti-terror statements, align themselves so closely with these groups and individuals.
It's absolutely disingenuous.

*Badawi is on the board of directors (saved web page) of the Muslim Association of Canada ( MAC) a group who states in their preamble their allegiance to the Muslim Brotherhood:
"MAC adopts and strives to implement Islam, as embodied in the Qur’an, and the teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and as understood in its contemporary context by the late Imam, Hassan Albanna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood. MAC regards this ideology as the best representation of Islam as delivered by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)."
Badawi is also on the board of directors for CAIR, ISNA and a number of organizations of which terror-supporter and Muslim Brotherhood leader Yusef Qaradawi chairs.
