In Dayton, Ohio, a group of Muslim physicians are stepping in to help the uninsured by operating a free medical clinic. Great news, right? Well, not so fast.
There's no way to know if this particular group of Muslim physicians actually promote Islamism (eventual Islamic rule) behind the scenes or not. Ohio does have an astute blogger, Patrick Poole, who keeps up on the Islamists in his state so that may help.
Do you think this is too far-fetched to even consider?
Well, for starters, I found the free clinic announcement on a Middle East website, Islamonline. That's always a first clue. The Islamic community worldwide likes to follow Islam's advances in America and usually these article are picked up when there are Islamists involved.
There are a number of physicians who lead terrorist groups. The 2nd in command for al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri, is a physician. Mahmoud Zagar (Zahar) co-founder of Hamas is a physician and top Hamas leader in Gaza. He has been responsible for perpetrating a large number of deadly terror attacks against Israel. My God, the Washington Post even published an article by him a few days ago!
Let's not forget the physicians in the UK and their failed bombings in London and Glasgow. All 8 suspects were tied to the British national healthcare system!
An al-Qaeda leader in Iraq boasted before last week’s failed bombings in London and Glasgow that his group was planning to attack British targets and that “those who cure you will kill you”, The Times has learnt.
The warning was delivered to Canon Andrew White, a senior British cleric working in Baghdad, and could be highly significant as the eight Muslims arrested in the wake of the failed plot are all members of the medical profession.
There has been several physicians already convicted in the U.S. for their terrorist dealings. One that comes to mind is Dr. Rafiq Sabir. He was a Boca Raton emergency room physician who was convicted for planning to aid Al-Qaeda terrorists.
You can read a more complete listing of physicians involved with Islamic terrorism that Debbie Schlussel put together here.
See, we do have a crafty Islamic enemy and the way they operate isn't always black and white. They are already within our communities displaying community spirit and unity and presenting a version of Islam that isn't practiced in any Islamic country. But it's important to note not every Muslim is an Islamist. They are many Muslim who just want to practice theological Islam and go about their lives. They separate their religion from the laws that govern our country and communities. It's the Muslim who is working to advance Islam into the schools, the laws, the rules. They are working to do so, ever so slowly, you'd hardly notice what they are doing that we have to watch out for. It's the Muslim whose ultimate goal is to have America become an Islamic state in a few hundred years.
Being vigilant now will help protect your children and their children's future to live in a free America.
The Islamists in America, seek to integrate themselves within the communities in America making themselves indispensable. If we begin to see other free Muslim-run clinics repeated in other cities and communities, I'd be paying attention. These Muslim physicians groups would eventually have some kind of advantage or leverage within each community as time goes by. And that's precisely what Islamists want in America - leverage so they can make changes.
Isn't this how Hezbollah made themselves indispensable in Lebanon? Oh well, pay no attention to me - I'm just thinking out-loud about the worst-case scenario here.
I hope this isn't the case and this announcement is just a good group of Americans helping others.
Dayton Mercy Society, a Muslim group that promotes community service and authentic values of Islam, is opening a free health clinic for the uninsured.
"Our goal is to engage the Muslim community in outreach work and let people know that Muslims are part of this community," said Dr. Esam Alkhawaga, a psychiatrist and Dayton Mercy Society board member. "Most of us (at Dayton Mercy) are physicians and we felt as Muslims this could be the least we could do to give back to America for what they've done for us."
Reach Out, which operates its free clinic and pharmacy on Monday and Wednesday evenings, welcomes the extra help and clinic hours.
"Right now we're in a primary care crisis, where patients are coming straight from the emergency room to our clinic because there are no openings for primary care (at other hospitals and neighborhood clinics) in our area," said Sharon Sherlock, Reach Out's executive director. "It's worse than it's ever been."
