How can something so critical to our future survivial turn into such a partisan issue?

Two Republican state legislators in Virginia accused Democratic Governor Timothy M. Kaine and other Democrats of embracing radical Islamic organizations last Friday.  The Governor and Democrats call the Republicans "fear mongerers". 

Who is telling the truth here?  Usually when someone responds to criticism by name calling, they are guilty of something.  It should be obvious, name calling is a tactic that attempts to shift the focus of the criticism back onto the person who raised the criticism - making them the problem.  We must not allow those in power to respond to criticism using this tactic.   If a public official is accused of something, that person has a public duty to present their facts in attempt to disprove the criticism.  Then it's up to the public or a court of law to decide.  This name calling crap - so often used to handle legitimate criticism has to stop.

"As Republicans work to retain their majorities in the General Assembly, the two delegates from the say they are conducting an investigation into Democrats' ties to the Muslim American Society and Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church. Dels. C. Todd Gilbert (Shenandoah) and C.L. "Clay and Athey Jr. (Warren) allege that the society and mosque have links to terrorism, even though federal officials have found no such connection.

The delegates have been trying to connect Kaine and other Democrats to prominent Muslim leaders affiliated with the organizations. On Friday, Gilbert and Athey released a photograph of Kaine speaking at a Muslim American Society dinner this spring.  ..."This is not a knock on Muslims, Muslim Americans, Muslim Virginians," said Gilbert, who is also an assistant commonwealth's attorney in Warren County. "This is a knock on this particular organization that has radical origins and continues to maintain radical beliefs."

In the photo released Friday, Kaine is standing with Mahdi Bray, a top Muslim American Society official. Gilbert also released a grainy video in which Bray is seen expressing support for Hamas at a rally in Washington seven years ago."

First, watch the video below where Mahdi Bray, the Executive Director of the Muslim American Society publicly cheers for Hamas and Hizballah at a an October 28, 2000, Lafayette Park demonstration.

Then review a post I wrote about Dr. Esam Omeish who started this whole mess.  Omeish was forced to resign from the Governor's Immigration Council after it was brought to the Governor's attention videos of Omeish speaking very harshly against our government and Israel.  Prior to viewing videos of the speeches, Kevin Hall, Kaine's spokesman, dismissed Del. C. Todd Gilbert (R-Shenandoah) letter of concern as xenophobic. Humm, name calling - see what I mean?

As far as I know, the Governor may be unaware of a Letter-to-the-Editor that Omeish wrote in 2004 praising the Muslim Brotherhood, a global organization which seeks to create a global Islamic state.  These global goals would eventually include destroying our democracy.  Now it took me about 4-5 hours to uncover all that I have discussed in the three posts I've written about this issue.  It's enough for me to realize that the Muslim American Society should be of concern to all Americans as we safeguard our democracy.  Why the Democratic Governor of Virginia didn't do this basic research is way beyond me.  It borders on incompetence.

Esam Omeish's Letter-to-the-Editor:  "We, MAS, are a religious, educational, activist, and civic organization espousing the comprehensive understanding of Islam as explained by the prophet of Islam, Muhammad (peace be upon him), and as outlined and applied more recently by modern Islamic movements, of which the Muslim Brotherhood is pre-eminent.

It also has been instrumental in defining our worldviews of justice and human rights; of terrorism, its scourge and its rejection in Islam; and of differentiating between terrorism and legitimate struggles against tyranny, dictatorships and occupation.

On the 18th of October, MEMRI posted this from Muhammad Mehdi 'Akef, the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood:

Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt General Guide Muhammad Mehdi 'Akef has stated that his movement does not and never will recognize Israel.

He added, "The Muslim Brotherhood does not have anything called 'Israel' in its lexicon; the [only] thing we recognize is the Zionist gangs that occupied the Arab land and expelled its residents... If they want to live amongst us, this must be in the framework of Palestine. If they want [their own] state – we will respond with resistance."

Why does the very real threat of global Islam, bent on destroying our government, other democracies and Israel seem to divide along party lines?  this should be an issue of right verse wrong not Democrats verses Republicans.

"Rep Athey was less generous in his response:

"It is clear that Governor Kaine and the Democratic Party sought the support of radical individuals who could turn out votes in his election. According to Mahdi Bray, the governor received that support," said Athey, referring to a story earlier this month in The Washington Times, in which Bray credited the Democrats' success in 2005 and 2006 to his organization.

"Ask Jim Webb what kind of impact we have," Bray said. "Ask the governor of Virginia what kind of impact we have. The Democrats' win hinged on the Muslim vote."

"I am not going to dignify the latest allegations by Dels. Gilbert and Athey with a comment," said Kaine spokesman Kevin Hall via e-mail. He also declined to comment on Bray's election-related statements.

Bray said his gestures weren’t in support of Hamas and Hezbollah.

“You saw me pumping my fists. You didn’t see me raising my hands. If they had shown the audience, you would have seen people in the audience raising their hands and falling out laughing,” he said. “For him to come and make these kinds of radical rants, no one took him seriously.”

ACTION: Blogging for the Truth?

I think this story highlights how much effort it takes to uncover the truth and how people can twist it or fail to recognize it.  A blogger in Ohio, Patrick Poole, recently wrote about an upcoming Islamic forum to be held at the Ohio Statehouse sponsored in part by the Ohio Humanities Council and the Council on American Islamic Relations here, here and here.  He points out that two of the speakers, Anisa Abd El Fattah, and Robert D. Crane (and former aide to President Nixon), previously worked for the United Association for Studies and Research an organization started by the leader of HAMAS, Mousa Marzook, a person named a global terrorist after he fled the U.S.!

"Founded in Chicago in 1989 by Hamas operative Mousa Abu Marzook, the United Association for Studies and Research (UASR) is an Islamic think tank professing a commitment to “the study of ongoing issues in the Middle East, such as the Arab-Israeli conflict." It also promotes the ideology of Hamas."

UASR was named in a May 1991 Muslim Brotherhood memorandum as one of the Brotherhood’s likeminded "organizations of our friends." These "friends" -- which included also the Islamic Society of North America, the Islamic Circle of North America, the Muslim Students Association, the Muslim Arab Youth Association, the Islamic Association for Palestine, and the International Institute of Islamic Thought -- were identified by the Brotherhood as groups that could help teach Muslims "that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands ... so that ... God's religion [Islam] is made victorious over all other religions."

A copy of the Muslim Brotherhood's memorandum and plans to take over America is here and was used as court evidence in the Holy Land Foundation Trial (translation in English starts on page 15).

Poole further writes, "A 3rd speaker, Dr. Zilfiqar Ali Shah, worked for organizations that have been closed by the U.S. government for terrorist support activities. Shah is ...the former Southeast Asia director for KindHearts, a Toledo, Ohio-based charity closed by federal authorities in February 2006 for financing terrorist organizations. 

Shah has also has made his own questionable statements that compromise his interfaith image. As reported by IslamOnline (owned in part by Specially Designated Global Terror Yousef Al-Qaradawi), during a June 2001 meeting of Muslim leaders in Chicago, Khan said:

"If we are unable to stop the Jews now, their next stop is Yathrib (The Prophet's city of Medina), where the Jews used to live until their expulsion by Prophet Muhammad. That's the pinnacle of their motives."

Shah is listed on the flyer for the upcoming program as a executive committee member of the Figh Council of North America - recognized as the highest-Islamic authority in North America.  Oh goodie.

An open letter from Mauri’ Saalakhan, Director of Operations, The Peace And Justice Foundation was done in rebuttal of Poole's comments.  I think it does more to help give credibility to Pooles' statements rather than discredit him.  I don't believe Saalakhan disputed anything Poole said but called him a deeply disturbed bigot for saying it.

..."Mr. Poole also attacked a number of others who I’ve come to know only through careful research, in my capacity as an advocate with a Metropolitan Washington-based human rights organization - individuals and organizations such as Fawaz Damra, Sami Al-Arian, Sheikh Ahmed Yasin, Mousa abu Marzook, the World Islam and Studies Enterprise (WISE), HAMAS, the Muslim Brotherhood, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and al-Qaeda."

WHAT?  Why are these facts being ignored by the organizers of this forum.  So it makes me wonder what is going on in Ohio???

The Columbus Distpatch wrote an article called "Talk of Terrorism Ties Discounted" stating "Poole paints the (Islamic forum) it as something sinister" even though they admit one of the speakers, Anisa Abd El Fattah,  did work with a person who later became a political adviser to Ismail Hanieh, the Hamas Prime Minister.  I wrote about her here after Poole explained she applied for a school board position in Ohio using her American name - not her Islamic name.  The paper interviewed the president of the Interfaith Association who had this to say:

"There is no story, says the Rev. Les Stansbery, a retired Presbyterian minister and president of the Interfaith Association, beyond attempts by Poole and others to smear Muslims by "spreading hate."

It has taken me a while to figure out that often when a person cries foul at criticism it is because they do not want to be held accountable for the substance of the complaint. 

Heard enough?

Pelosi Wants To Bring Armenian Vote to Floor of House

Despite clear indications of displeasure from Turkey and a plea from the President, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi plans to press on with a full vote on on a resolution that labels the deaths of more than a million Armenians during World War I as genocide.   

This genocide has been considered as the first attempt in the 20th century to destroy an entire people when the government of Turkey ordered executions and mass deportations of about 1 million Armenians during World War I. Christian Armenians became second-class subjects within the Ottoman Empire. They were tolerated, but only Muslims enjoyed full equality under Islamic law. The Armenians and other religious minorities paid special taxes, could not give testimony in Islamic courts, and were not allowed to carry weapons. These and other forms of discrimination denied the equal protection of the law to non-Muslims in the Ottoman Empire.

The resolution has strained U.S. relations with Turkey and drawn criticism from the Bush administration.

"This resolution is one that is consistent with what our government has always said about ... what happened at that time," Pelosi said on ABC's "This Week."

When asked about criticism that it could harm relations with Turkey -- a key ally in the war in Iraq and a fellow member of NATO -- Pelosi said, "There's never been a good time," adding that it is important to pass the resolution now "because many of the survivors are very old."

"When I came to Congress 20 years ago, it wasn't the right time because of the Soviet Union. Then that fell, and then it wasn't the right time because of the Gulf War One. And then it wasn't the right time because of overflights of Iraq. And now it's not the right time because of Gulf War Two."

It's ironic isn't it, that Pelosi wants to make sure that the destruction to these people is officially recognized, which is commendable, but her actions now will likely hurt our efforts against world-wide islamic organizations who are working to create a global Islamic state.  One of the organizations, al-Qaeda,  has been keeping us very pretty busy in Iraq but Pelosi wants us out of there.  Do you see something quite odd here?

Muslims Plan to Double Mosques in Germany

"We have recorded 184 projects to build new mosques, of which some are already under construction," Salim Abdullah, of the German Institute of Islamic Archives, told the AFP news agency this past week.  "We are talking here about buildings with a dome and a minaret, which are clearly recognizable from the outside, and not the 2,600 prayer areas housed in various buildings throughout the country," Abdullah added. Plans to build one of the biggest mosques in Europe in the western German city of Cologne have been opposed by Christian leaders and far-right politicians.  The mosque is being planned by the Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs (DITIB), Germany's biggest Muslim group.

The Central Council of Ex-Muslims has also spoken out against the project. Speaking on German public radio, Mina Ahadi, chairwoman of the ex-Muslims group, argued that were already enough mosques in Germany.  "If more mosques are built, then women are put under increased pressure and even more children will be sent to school in headscarves, and become isolated," she said.  While the number of mosques is growing, the doors are slamming shut at Christian churches across the country..."      DW-World DE

Exposing Deception With Muslim Brotherhood Operatives

I believe there are Muslims in some of our neighborhoods that have a Muslim Brotherhood agenda. The Muslim Brotherhood is a world-wide Islamic organization working to create a global Islamic state.  That would mean they want to destroy our democracy.  These people will likely hide their agenda and try to gain our trust and some will even try to get elected to various offices within our communities.  It takes a keen eye and research to undercover what is going on right under our noses.  One example happened in Ohio recently and it took an individual who was really paying attention to figure it out.  More has been written about them here.

"Exactly how did a known Hamas operative (Hamas is a child of the Muslim Brotherhood) obtain an interview with and almost get appointed to the Columbus, Ohio Public School Board, which oversees one of the largest school districts in the country? And what does this incident tell us about the domestic terror threat and the process of radicalization happening right now in the US?

The key was her name. When the Columbus Dispatch identified the candidates who had applied for this school board position on December 5, 2006, and when those who were being interviewed were publicly announced, this innocuous entry appeared

Caroline F. Keeble, P.O. Box 72032, a management accounting/controller whose grandson attends a district school.  No further information was ever made public.

The reason a Hamas operative almost ended up on the school board of the 15th largest school district in the country was that she has been using two separate identities: her Muslim convert name, Anisa Abd El Fattah (“Anisa, servant of the conquest”), when she was publicly defending the terrorist organization Hamas; and her given name, Caroline Keeble, when she was operating in Columbus and circulating amongst the city’s political and cultural elite. As the pictures below clearly show, any uninformed observer would hardly realize that the two individuals were actually the same person.

Thus far, there is no indication that anyone with the Columbus Public Schools or the establishment media was ever aware of anything in Fattah/Keeble’s political activist background.  Even though she was not selected by the school board to fill the open seat (she had also applied for a previous board opening) - by maintaining dual identities and doing most of her work promoting Hamas under her Arabic name, she had been able to evade the scrutiny of local counter-terror researchers, myself included.

It was only after a recent letter to the editor she had published in the Columbus Dispatch as Fattah and which declared that all Israelis (men, women and children) in Gaza were combatants and legitimate targets for terror operations, that I became aware of her presence in Central Ohio at all. It was only after several days of research that her second identity was discovered.

So how did I finally establish the connection between her two identities?  As I said, the letter to the editor a few weeks ago made me aware that Fattah was living in Columbus. That’s what initiated my research, but it wasn’t much to go on, since it was the first time that Fattah appeared on the radar in the area. Apparently, since her arrival in Columbus after UASR came apart when Ahmed Yousef fled the country, she had been only using her Caroline Keeble name, essentially taking “Fattah” (her convert name) underground. The letter was the first time that I could find her Fattah identity was ever used here publicly."

“Letter to Lady Liberty: Europe in Danger"

A former member of the Norwegian Parliament has said in his newest book that imperialist Islam may already have its hold on Europe. 

"Hallgrim Berg, who has twice written humorous books and spent 16 years in Norwegian Parliament, said the goal of militant and imperialist Islam is absolute, grandiose and global and it may already have its grip on Europe. Unfortunately, the majority of European residents are unaware or don’t care that subtle changes in their nations now taking place may haunt the entire free world in years to come.

“My writing is straight forward on how our values are being undermined,” Berg said. “If you look at Europe 15 to 20 years from now, there is already a Muslim majority in Amsterdam and Rotterdam (Holland) and in some school districts. So if you project out, is this what we want?”

Berg said he doesn’t have an issue with Islam or with Muslims who want traditional family values, but with those who use Islam as a crutch to take control of something or someone.

Muslim Brotherhood Policy Paper - No Woman, No Christian Can Be President

Why should you care about if the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt puts out a policy paper about creating an Islamic State in Egypt?  Consider this, MB is a world-wide organization that seeks to create a global Islamic state.  Documents have been uncovered by federal Investigators of their infiltration into the U.S. with the creation of numerous national Islamic organizations with the ultimate goal to destroy our democracy over time.  Critics dismiss the document as irrelevant.  I wrote about it here.  I've also written a few times about the brotherhood and their connection in America which you can scan over here.  Keep in mind, no Muslim in America would tell you this group is working to destroy our democracy if it was, now would they? 

One very troubling aspect to Islam that I've learned is their prophet condoned lying to gain the advantage over an enemy or to reconcile people.  If our democracy is considered an enemy or if Islam is considered what is needed to reconcile people, then you may see what I mean.  I believe Muslims will be relentless in a quiet quest to spread Islam throughout our country.  Some will want to destroy our democracy.  Having awareness of this worst case scenario possibility is necessary in the climate we are living.  My motivation, my relentless drive in this regard is to protect the freedom I've enjoyed in America for my children and grand children's future.  I believe our democracy is at serious risk in the long run.  Americans needs to learn more about what is going with organizations who want to create a global Islamic state.  It is that simple and it keeps me awake at night.

The Muslim Brotherhood was created shortly after the fall of the Islamic Ottoman Empire in the 1920s.  They are outlawed in Egypt but not in the U.S. even though our government will not do business with them.   Even though the group is outlawed in Egypt individual Brotherhood members have gained seats in the Egyptian Parliament:

"The Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt's powerful opposition movement, has laid down its first detailed political platform, which would bar women and Christians from becoming president and establish a board of Muslim clerics to oversee the government, reminiscent of Iran's Islamic state.

The platform has dismayed secular reformers who have cautiously hoped the Brotherhood was becoming more moderate and who supported the movement in the face of a tough government crackdown against it.

The document also complicates the debate in Egypt over how to deal with the Brotherhood, which proved its widespread popularity in 2005 parliament elections.

"It establishes a religious state," Abdel Moneim Said, head of the leading Al Ahram Center for Strategic and Political Studies, said. "Its an assassination to the civic state."

The program calls for the formation of a commission of senior religious scholars, chosen in national elections, "to give consultancy to parliament and presidents," according to a copy of the program obtained by The Associated Press."  mideastjpost

If Islam is so peaceful how come so many Muslims have got it wrong?

This is a fair question.  But it goes unanswered in the "Islam is peace and we want to eradicate Islamophiba",  ad campaign in Britain.  The campaign was put together after the recent failed terrorists attacks in London and Scotland.  There are big problems with this campaign.  First, it repeats the old tired "Islam is Peace" message.  Then the ad states how they want to stop Islamophobia which is insulting.  Islamophobia is the irrational fear of Islam.  There is nothing irrational about fearing Islam in light of its violent history, daily news of Muslims killing Muslims and innocent people, the war to destroy democracies, and the goal by global Islamic organizations to dominate the world.  To deny this is an insult to the intelligence of those who raise concerns about the facts.  This campaign doesn't take responsibility for what is in the Koran that gives rise to the problems the world is facing with this so-called religion.  It does not address the specific parts of the Koran that encourages Muslims to fight and die for Allah, that martyrs are guaranteed a place in paradise, its goal for a Caliphate (Islamic domination), or the part in the words and deeds of their prophet that allows lying to gain the advantage over their enemy.

The world must stand up and demand accountability from Muslims.

Ahmadinejad: Relocate Jews From Israel

While the UN silence speaks volumes,  Iran's President on Thursday said  Iran 'has passed the difficult points' on its nuclear path.

"The Iranian leader says during Jerusalem Day rally in Tehran, 'Let a referendum be held in Palestine on the transfer of Zionists to Europe, Canada or Alaska.' Adds: Israel committed crimes under pretext of the Holocaust.

Ahmadinejad repeated an earlier suggestion to Europe on the "settlement of Zionists in Europe or in big lands such as Canada and Alaska so they would be able to own their own land".

Ahmadinejad further stated that "the creation of the Zionist regime, the continuation of its existence and unlimited support for the regime (by the US) are an insult to human dignity."

Ahmadinejad concluded by saying that "the world should know that the Iranian nation hates massacre(s). It regards agents of the World War II and Hitler as dark and black faces."

Israeli MKs from across the political spectrum responded angrily to Ahmadinejad's remarks.

Likud leader MK Benjamin Netanyahu said that Ahmadinejad "is not only a Holocaust denier but also a denier of the link between the people of Israel and its land, which is thousands of years old."

"He is threatening and putting us in an absurd situation between exile and annihilation," Netanyahu said."    Middle East News

I hope Christians and Jews all over the world realize this man, who very well may also have the backing of other Middle East government and religious leaders, wants to do away with the historical ties Jews and Christians have to the land and people in Israel and take it over.  I mean have you heard any Middle East government leader condemning what Ahmadinejad says?  I haven't,  if I've missed any statements, please let me know.  This is our Biblical history here he is trying to destroy.  It's typical what Muslims do with anything that has to do with our Biblical history - it's always a oneupmanship with them, isn't it?  They claim the Koran supersedes the Bible, is the final word of God, is superior to all other religions, Christians and Jews are on the wrong side, Islam is the only true religion.  This is major to me and especially for my children's future.  I hope you see the seriousness of this, too.  I've said this before, where is the proof that Palestine existed in Israel before the ancient Jewish temples that have been unearthed and documented there?  Why isn't Palestine mentioned once in the Koran?  It is time to hold these people accountable.

Millions of non-Muslims are systematically being persecuted because they live under Sharia law in Islamic countries.

In Egypt people are being imprisoned for leaving Islam, an offence under Sharia law, indeed this is a capital offence in many Islamic countries such as Saudi Arabia.

In Malaysia Islamic apostates are unable to have “Islam” removed from their official documents because it is now against Malaysia’s laws to leave Islam. This denies a person’s fundamental rights even to the funeral of their choice.

In Indonesia Christians and other non-Muslims are persecuted to such an extent that tens of thousands have been displaced. Enforced emplantation of Muslims in Indonesian New Guinea is underway which is tantamount to ethnic cleansing.

Similar ethno-religious cleansing is taking place in Kosovo where Christian Serbs are being ousted from that part of Serbia, seemingly aided and abetted by the United Nations and NATO.

In the Middle East Copts and Assyrians are being persecuted by Islamists with the apparent approval of governments in that region.

Armenians were systematically eliminated, simply for being non-Muslims, by one of the grossest acts of genocide. Although perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire this act of mass murder is denied by the Turkish authorities. Turkey wishes to join the European Union even though denial of genocide is illegal in several EU countries, notably Belgium.

In Thailand and the Philippines terrorist murders are enacted on a daily basis by Islamists seeking to set up Islamic states.

Elsewhere Hindus, Sikhs, Zoroastrians and Buddhists are oppressed and subjugated by Islamic authorities. The list seems endless.

Disgracefully, most of this Islamic persecution is never reported in the Western Media.

The Term "War On Terror" is Misleading

The term used for the war we are fighting against Islamists and the countries that are supporting them seems so misleading.  The "War on Terror" implies we are fighting against a few rogue Muslims who have gone astray.  When actually this is so far from the truth it isn't even funny.  The war America and Europe is fighting is to protect our democracies from being destroyed by several very large and growing global Islamic movements.  One is the Muslim Brotherhood (who has infiltrated our country for several decades now) which I have written about here and here.  MB was started back in the 20s after the destruction of the "Islamic" Ottoman Empire.  Another organization is al-Qaeda and a third is Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT) or the Islamic Liberation Party.  The common denominator between these three organizations is the Muslim Brotherhood and their desire for a global Islamic state.

"The Caliphate (global Islamic government) will liberate the countries and the people from the influence of the Kafer (non-believer) and its allies and the tyranny of its men and followers," he said."  according to an Telegraph article about this group in January 2007."  There is also a video to watch with this article.

..."One of HT's goals is to destroy Israel and "liberate Palestine from occupation, racism and impurity by going back to the strict practice of a true Islam." In August, an HT rally in the West Bank city of Ramallah drew some 10,000 people under the banner "The caliphate, a force for the future." Although the man who founded HT in 1953 in Jerusalem, Sheikh Taqiuddin al-Nabhani, was a Palestinian--a qadi (Muslim judge) and an ex-Muslim Brother seeking a more radical alternative to the Brotherhood--HT was until recently an insignificant player in Palestinian politics. HT has a website for the organization in Britain where their world headquarters is reported to be located.  In August of this year they held a Kaiphate Conference within Britain!  I do not understand how an organization that wants to create a global Islamic state can operate freely within a democracy such as Britain.  Wouldn't their activities be considered treasonist if they are operating inside a sovereign country seeking to destroy that democracy?  Oh well, what do I know.  HT is banned in virtually all Arab nations in the Middle East yet not in Britian or the United States.

In May 2003, the Heritage Foundation also did a backgrounder on HT: 

"Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami (Islamic Party of Liberation) is an emerging threat to American interests in Central and South Asia and the Middle East. It is a clandestine, cadre-operated, radical Islamist political organization that operates in 40 countries around the world, with headquarters apparently in London. Its proclaimed goal is jihad against America and the overthrow of existing political regimes and their replacement with a Caliphate (Khilafah in Arabic), a theocratic dictatorship based on the Shari'a (religious Islamic law). The model for Hizb is the "righteous" Caliphate, a militaristic Islamic state that existed in the 7th and 8th centuries under Mohammad and his first four successors, known as the "righteous Caliphs

Americans need to find out how many Muslims here support any of these movements.  But finding this out could prove to be difficult because many may not answer this question truthfully.  As I've mentioned before,  Islam is the only religion that allows lying in three circumstances; in battle, to reconcile people (to Islam?) and between a husband and wife to bring peace to the family.  There are other ways to get your answer by paying attention to what Muslims say beyond their stock statement that Islam is a religion of peace.  Find out if any of them recognize Israel's right to exist.  This could be your first clue.  I have a whole list of questions I'd like to get answered which are here.

This is a well done video about Jihad of the West and the quest for Islamic domination.  It is not violent at all but should be thought provoking.

"Refusing to cooperate with U.N. weapons inspectors, Iraq presents a threat to the entire world", said the President.  It's natural to assume President Bush said the above statement because he is the one we most always blame for anything about Iraq.  But in this case the president who said it was Clinton in 1998.

Have you ever googled "clinton Iraq 1998 "?  Do it and see what you get.  It seems to me, Bush may have inherited faulty intelligence from Clinton.  Perhaps Clinton got it from Bush Sr. Perhaps the intelligence was accurate but the weapons were taken out of Iraq when we invaded this traumatized country.  I don't know if we will ever know for sure what happened but to just blame Bush is so counter-productive to the danger we face, as a nation.  It points to ignorance on the part of those who want to blame Bush - including many who are in Congress who should know better.  The more divided our nation is during this war to stop the spread of an global Islamic state, the more we are playing right into the hands of our enemies. Are people not paying attention here?  My God this is so major and will affect your children and grandchildrens' future.  If I'm wrong, please, please send me some info I can study so I can stand corrected.  The major world wide Islamic organizations working to create a global Islamic state are:  the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda, and Hizb ut-Tahrir or the Islamic Liberation Party and from time to time I will be bringing you relevant information for you to consider.

Islamophobia: Muslims Must Take Responsibility

When things get too hot for many Muslims, they like to use is Islamophobia in order to blame to others for legitimate concerns about Islam.  It's similar to the tactics used by illegal foreign nationals when they call Americans racists for daring to seek accountability for their illegal presence in our sovereign land.  Both tactics try to shift the blame from themselves onto the backs of those who have raised legitimate concerns. 

Americans must not allow name calling such as this to go unchallenged.  There are numerous legitimate concerns about Islam that must be dealt with forthright.

Muslims in America want to convince us Islam is a religion of peace, right?  Often they use part of a verse from the Koran that says to kill one person is like killing all of mankind to convey the peace of Islam. We hear this verse used all the time.  Quite frankly it is getting old.  This is verse 5.32 which was directed to the children of Israel, not to Muslims, taken from the Bible and retold in the Koran.  It is old because the violent history in the Middle East has gone on since the inception of Islam 1400 years ago, particularly with Muslims killing each other.  Let's not forget, America struggled for decades against Islamic rulers and pirates during the early days of America which claimed American lives and treasury.  And today, with world-wide Islamic movements seeking to create a global Islamic state which are accentuated by daily Islamic violence,  we are all left wondering where is the peace?   

With this in mind, American Muslims have to understand why we find it difficult to put our arms around their message of peace because actions simply speak louder than words.  We have been in Iraq trying to bring forth a democracy,  yet over four years later there's an unending supply of young men and women willing to blow themselves up for Allah!  It seems to me a democracy with all its faults is better than Islamic rule any day of the week.  We hear on the news daily about the killing of Muslims by Muslims.  Why in the heck do your fellow Muslims kill other Muslims?

Quite frankly, none of this speaks too well for this religion of peace.  Do you see why we have concerns, my American Muslim neighbors?  I really do have a number of questions I would like answered.

Patriot Act Provisions Unlawful Federal Judge Rules

Another federal court judge nominated by Clinton has ruled in favor of less intrusion by our government possibly thwarting, in the future, its efforts to protect us from terrorist acts.  Is it just me or is it predictable that these federal judges seem to rule along their party lines?  Pretty much anymore if I read about a ruling such as this one, the first thing I ask myself - is this a democratic nominated judge?  That's is sad because I'm left with the impression that the lines between right and wrong are being blurred and party lines rule instead.  I don't know, at this point, if the government is overstepping its authority or not.  But I do know we haven't had ONE terrorist attack since 9/11. This is a big deal because you have to know there are a number of terrorist plans in the works in our country right now.  How are we to catch these terrorist before they act?  They hate America.  They hate Israel.  They want a global islamic state.  Are you paying attention for God sakes?  Does it bother me that my phone could be tapped in an effort to find a terrorist - NOT AT ALL.  They would be bored by my conversations and would quickly rule me out.  No big deal.    In this case the government made a mistake in reading a fingerprint.  So?  Does that mean anti-terrorist efforts are unconstitutional?   Sadly, it will probably take another attack to see just how mch in danger our country is from those that wish to do us harm.

"A federal judge in Oregon ruled Wednesday that crucial parts of the USA Patriot Act were not constitutional because they allowed federal surveillance and searches of Americans without demonstrating probable cause.

..."The ruling by Judge Anne L. Aiken of Federal District Court in Portland was in the case of Brandon Mayfield, a lawyer in Portland who was arrested and jailed after the Federal Bureau of Investigation mistakenly linked him to the Madrid train bombings in March 2004.

“For over 200 years, this nation has adhered to the rule of law — with unparalleled success,” Judge Aiken’s opinion said in finding violations of the Fourth Amendment prohibitions against unreasonable search and seizure. “A shift to a nation based on extraconstitutional authority is prohibited, as well as ill advised.

Mr. Mayfield, 38, who was born in Oregon and brought up in a small town in Kansas, converted to Islam in 1989. He was a lawyer in a child custody case for Jeffrey Leon Battle, who had been convicted of conspiring to aid the Taliban and Al Qaeda.

Mr. Mayfield said his religion and legal work had led investigators to be overzealous in connecting him to the Madrid plot.

Mr. Mayfield sued the government, which apologized and agreed to a $2 million settlement last November. The settlement included an unusual condition that freed the government from future liability with one exception. Mr. Mayfield was allowed to continue a suit seeking to overturn parts of the Patriot Act. 

A lawyer for Mr. Mayfield, Elden Rosenthal, issued a statement on his behalf saying that Judge Aiken “has upheld both the tradition of judicial independence and our nation’s most cherished principle of the right to be secure in one’s own home."   New York Times

Kaine Announces Dr. Esam Omeish's Resignation

Gov. Timonthy M. Kaine released this statement today in regards to the resignation of Dr. Esam Omeish, recent appointee to the Virginia Commission on Immigration.

I have accepted Dr. Esam Omeish's resignation as one of the 10 gubernatorial appointees to the 20-member Virginia Commission on Immigration. Dr. Omeish is a respected physician and community leader, yet I have been made aware of certain statements he has made which concern me. Dr. Omeish indicated that he did not want this controversy to distract from the important work of the Commission. I intend to name another representative of the Muslim community to the Commission in the near future.

UPDATE  2 PM CT: SUCCESS!    Dr. Esame S. Omeish, a surgeon at the INOVA Alexandria Hospital, has resigned from the Immigration Commission he was appointed to by the Governor of Virginia.  It appears the Governor did NOT do his homework on this man.

The Governor of Virginia, Gov. Timothy M. Kaine has appointed a leader of the Muslim American Society, Dr. Esam S. Omeish, a Northern Virginia physician,  to his Immigration Commission. To watch a video of this physician blast Israel see below.   

80 to 85% of Americans are Christians and believe in the Old Testatment with its roots and history firmly rooted in Israel.  People like Omeish do not recognize Israel's right to exist!!!  What will it take for Americans to WAKE UP to this assault on our Biblical history.

A delegate has asked Democratic Gov. Timothy M. Kaine to re-think his appointment of the head of the Virginia-based Muslim American Society to the Virginia Commission on Immigration.  Del. Todd Gilbert, R-Woodstock, wrote to Kaine earlier today, saying he was concerned about the appointment of Dr. Esam S. Omeish, a Northern Virginia physician and the group's president, to the panel. The commission was created earlier this year to study the impact of illegal immigration on the commonwealth. The Muslim American Society has significant ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, a group founded in Egypt, Gilbert said.

A caller to Kaine's program on WRVA radio in Richmond asked the governor Thursday morning about the Omesh appointment and the video.

That is news to me, what you say, and it's something we will check out Kaine told the caller, identified on the air only by the name Kent.

Kaine spokesman Kevin Hall said the governor had been unable to reach Omesh.

Mahdi Bray, a spokesman for the MAS, told The Associated Press that Omesh was performing surgery and not available for comment.

JIHAD IS THE WAY...  Speech on 12/22/2000

Signs of Possible Sunni/Shiite Tension Emerging in the U.S.

First, before I get into the news report by USA Today on Sunni/Shiite tensions, while I was working today, I was listening to CSPAN when I heard the introduction for the morning prayer in the House of Representatives.  Giving the prayer was Imam Yusuf Saleem, National Education Director of the Muslim American Society.  My stomach churned.  This Society was started by the Muslim Brotherhood, a world-wide Islamic movement seeking to create a global Islamic state!  In a Chicago Tribune investigative report in 2004, Shaker Elsayed, a top MAS official, says the organization was founded by Brotherhood members but has evolved to include Muslims from various backgrounds and ideologies. "Ikhwan [Brotherhood] members founded MAS, but MAS went way beyond that point of conception," he says.  Now, if the ultimate goal of the MAS is a global Islamic state would their leaders tell us?  Of course not, they would want to convince us otherwise.  You can also read a report by the Weekly Standard entitled "MAS's Muslim Brotherhood Problem".  Another report by the Investigative Project can be found here about this organization ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.  The Muslim American Society is considered the U.S. chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood according to some experts.

Now why would the Democrats in the House of Representatives invite an Imam from this society with its background to give the prayer?  And why does it seem this small minority of Americans get so much attention?  My God, is it just me?

Also today, USA Today reports there are some signs of tension between the Sunnis and Shiites Muslims in our country who traditionally have been cordial towards each other.   The paper reports several Muslim websites are talking about Sunnis and Shiites from Seattle to Manhattan who have traded accusations that they have been rebuffed from worshiping at each other's mosques.

"You have people who recently arrived from other places where things may have gotten out of hand," says Sheik Hamza Yusuf, the U.S.-born co-founder of the nation's first Muslim seminary, the Zaytuna Institute, in Berkeley, Calif. "It takes just one deranged person with a cousin back home who died in a suicide bombing to create trouble here."

...Muslim Student Associations on a few campuses, such as Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., and the University of Michigan at Dearborn, have disagreed so vehemently over which sect could lead prayers that students sometimes have refused to pray together.

The factionalism on those campuses has cooled recently, but many observers worry it could return. They say it's partly a reflection of the rising numbers of Muslim students. "If you have nine Muslims in one MSA, they have to get along," says Muslim sociologist Eboo Patel, 31, of Chicago. "If you have 90, there's enough to break into splinter groups."

..."The sad reality is that there are extremists" who selectively misuse Islamic teachings to justify their violence, says Ingrid Mattson, a professor of Islamic Studies at Hartford Seminary in Hartford, Conn., and the president of the USA's largest Muslim civic and social group, the Islamic Society of North America.

Oh yes, the Islamic Society of North America, a group named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Trial for their association with the Muslim Brotherhood.  Her words make me feel so much better since we know the intent of the Brotherhood. 

Am I reading too much into this stuff or am I putting the pieces of the puzzle together?

Too Many Mosques in the U.S.?

Rep. Pete King recently did an interview with Politico where he said there are too many mosques in America.  The Democrats National Committee (Islamist sympathizers?) apparently thought what King said was deplorable according to the Council of American Islamic Relations. 

Now CAIR is trying to silence him with an Action Alert.  They are requesting Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani dump King and commentator Daniel Pipes as campaign advisors because of their extremist and Islamophobic views and comments. 

"The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today called on Muslims and other people of conscience to ask Republican leaders to repudiate remarks by Rep. Peter King (R-NY) in which he said “we have too many mosques in this country.”

CAIR also asked that Americans of all faiths contact Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani and urge him to drop King and commentator Daniel Pipes as campaign advisors because of their extremist and Islamophobic views and comments."

Have you noticed how vocal this group is?  My God, aren't Muslims a very tiny part of our society?  Then why does it seem they complain so much of the time?  Is it just me?  What is worrisome is this just the beginning of CAIR's efforts to silence those who speak out about their concerns with Islam?

It's just like CAIR,  who has given a speech or two under the Hezbollah flag, who has stated publically that the Koran should be the highest authority in America, who planned and participate in a meeting with HAMAS, who is associated with the Muslim Brotherhood which seeks to destroy our democracy, to get offended because someone stands up bravely about what's going on in our country.

"An unprecedented inside look into the history of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States"

Finally, a newspaper is writing about the Muslim Brotherhood's plan to destroy America.  You see, the Muslim Brotherhood, wants to create a global Islamic state and they have been working toward this goal for decades.  I first wrote about this plan when it was introduced as evidence in the Holy Land Foundation Trial here.  It was disturbing to me because it called for the creation of numerous national Islamic groups in America designed to further the Islamic agenda to destroy our country from within itself.  Well guess what? These organization are up and running in America!  They were named as unidicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation Trial because of their relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood. It's not rocket science.  From the Dallas Morning News:

..."A 1991 strategy paper for the Brotherhood, often referred to as the Ikhwan in Arabic, found in the Virginia home of an unindicted co-conspirator in the case, describes the group's U.S. goals, referred to as a "civilization-jihadist process."

"The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions," it states. This process requires a "mastery of the art of 'coalitions,' the art of 'absorption' and the principles of 'cooperation.' "

Success in the U.S. "in establishing an observant Islamic base with power and effectiveness will be the best support and aid to the global movement," it states.

A transcript of a Brotherhood orientation meeting recorded in the early 1980s includes discussions of the need for "securing the group" from infiltration by "Zionism, Masonry ... the CIA, FBI, etc. so that we find out if they are monitoring us" and "how can we get rid of them." Discussions later turn to "weapons training at the Ikhwan's camps" in Oklahoma and Missouri.

Many similar documents are among several hundred pieces of evidence that are part of the trial of Richardson-based Holy Land and the five defendants. They are accused of illegally raising money for Hamas, which was declared a terrorist group by the U.S. in 1995. The defendants are not accused of violent acts here or abroad.

After two months, jurors will hear closing arguments in the case today." 

..."Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood are working toward the same goal, but the Brotherhood is willing to work through it politically and take their time," said Mr. Farah, the counterterrorism consultant. "They want an Islamic state. Does that mean they're going to pick up a gun and start shooting at the [U.S.] president? No. They're going to work the system."
