In late August, Pew Research released a report on Muslims in America. It's happily titled Muslim Americans: No Signs of Growth in Alienation or Support for Extremism which gives the impression that all is well. Upon further review, I found, though, there's significantly higher support for Islamic extremism among the black Muslims polled! 40%of native-born black Muslim Americans reported they knew there was a great deal and/or a fair amount of extremist support in their communities compared to 20% of all U.S. Muslims, which is bad enough having 1 in 5 Muslims know of this kind of support in America. Support for suicide bombings and for al Qaeda was doubled for the native-born black Muslims than for all U.S. Muslims. Why? Something appears to be very wrong.
I came across a website this week called Islamopedia. It features fatwas or religious rulings of leading Islamic religous leaders, along with news and analysis. Their about page says it is institutionally supported by the Islamic Legal Studies Program at Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University among others organization listed. This support is shocking considering what's on this website.
These universities are helping a sheik strongly associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, who is banned from the U.S., gain more legitimacy it seems to me! If you don't think Islamists have infiltrated our universities - well - I've got some swamp land in Florida to sell you.
Ingrid Mattson is the immediate past president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and a current member of their executive council. She will be speaking this Sunday in Tulsa at an "interfaith meeting" at the Grace Lutheran Church headed by Rev. Mason Beecroft about Islamic law:
Here's a good example how some of the far-left media, in this case MSNBC's Ed Schultz, work with Islamists. The interviewer spurred onthe first Muslim elected to the U.S. House of Representative, Keith Ellison, as he blasted Rep. Pete King's plans to hold hearings to help find the root cause of homegrown Islamic terrorism, which, by the way, threatens us relentlessly on an on-going basis.
Think about it. Why would any Islamic leader NOT want to find the cause???
I've noticed significant outreach by some Muslim leaders this Christmas. I even got an email from an Oklahoma City Imam whom I've criticized some of his actions, like when he called the Tea Party the KKK in drag. Why would he reach out to me? He's called my blog a hate group because I call attention to their actions I find troubling and the man thinks I have a spy at his mosque. And get this, in ending his message to me, right there under his signature, was a quote from the 2nd Islamic supremacist caliph, Omar. If you are not familiar, Omar's armies of Islam seized control of Jerusalem, the center of the Christian world, at the time. Nope, definitely not feeling the outreach there.
The Virginia Glee Club’s annual Christmas Concert pleased many but some noticed they sang "Zirk" - a chant to Allah! This prompted, at least, one parent to write a letter-to-the-editor to the Daily Progress:
Here's a disturbing article about how some immigrant Muslim families from of Buffalo, New York have a hard time adjusting to living in a civilized society:
Five times a day starting at sunrise the Islamic call to prayer is heard from a loudspeaker at a mosque in Brooklyn. Some say they can hear it from blocks away:
A Minnesota Appeals Court ruled Tuesday an euphoric-producing plant called"khat" is illegal and doesn't violate religious freedom which several Muslims prosecuted for using it claimed. An advocate said these men might now be ripe for terror recruiting:
Today, in little over an hour, the brand new director (<month) of CAIR Oklahoma, Muneer Awad, will be in federal court in Oklahoma City to legally challenge the will of the people of Oklahoma after they passed SQ 755 on November 2nd to ban sharia and international law from consideration by state courts in the future. The suit wants to stop the election board from certifying the results. It will be heard before a judge appointed by President Clinton, the Honorable Vicki Miles-LaGrange. Last year, Judge Miles-LaGrange gave a commencement speech titled "Idealism" to the graduating students at Oklahoma City University School of Law.
Muneer Awad, apparently, recently moved to Oklahoma to assume his position at CAIR but he sued the state as an individual.
Yesterday, Awad was interviewed on New York City's WABC 770 AM. Near the end he gets agitated when questioned about some of the facts that haunt CAIR. Listen to his interview at CAIR's Shariah defender dodges questions on terror ties. The really interesting stuff starts at the 9:50 minute mark.
Awad dodged facts about CAIR similar to his predecessor, Razi Hashmi, who did it over and over again.
I do believe Awad imply the interviewer was a liar.
Routes is an college magazine that showcases work of college students relating to issues about Oklahoma run by the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Oklahoma.
I was completely taken aback to see their front page and cultural section mainly devoted to Islam or Muslim victimhood. This includes a slide show of pictures where one featured a photo of a larger Quran next to a smaller Bible, pictured above.
Some of Routes latest articles presented a peaches and cream positive image of Islam, or of their victimhood. All ignored a move by Muslims leaders in Oklahoma to hookup with one of the most controversial Islamist organizations in the country, CAIR, which was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest Hamas terror-funding trial in U.S. history.
Their new director in Oklahoma sued the state this week to stop the will of the people in their historic vote to ban sharia law from being used in state court. One of their article features Saad Mohammed, one of the two co-founders of CAIR Oklahoma but they didn't mention this at all. Last summer, CAIR Oklahoma's board chair, Michael Aziz Gipson was charged with mortgage fraud and conspiracy.
What is Shariah? Shariah is a dynamic legal framework derived from the Quran (Islam’s revealed text), the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad, the ongoing consensus of Islamic scholars, and analytical reasoning. ---CAIR
Below is a copy of the lawsuit filed today in Federal Court against the Oklahoma Election Board regarding a constitutional amendment passed by 70% of Oklahomans to not allow state courts to consider sharia or international law in the decades to come. The individual suing is Muneer Awad the new director of CAIR Oklahoma. He just recently moved to Oklahoma to assume the position. Now he, and he alone, wants to stop the election board from certifying the election result for SQ 755.
"...At a news conference today in the State Capitol Building, CAIR-OK Executive Director Muneer Awad said he has filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court -- Western District Of Oklahoma as an individual seeking a temporary restraining order and a preliminary injunction to prevent final certification of the amendment by the Oklahoma State Board of Elections.
Awad's lawsuit, which is based on his own Shariah-compliant will, says SQ 755 violates the First Amendment's Establishment Clause that bars government bodies from making laws "respecting the establishment of religion."
Click here for an audio of the press conference CAIR Oklahoma held with their left-wing partners in Oklahoma city yesterday found at Oklahomacitizen. Imam Enchassi stated he uses sharia law everyday. Today we learn, for sure, that CAIR see sharia law as completely intertwined with Islam. This is Islamism to me. Throughout the press conference you hear the Muslim victim-mentality and the name-calling rhetoric continue.
Many would argue that Sharia law and/or Islamic supremacy is a rising threat to democracies throughout the world. CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest Hamas terror-funding case in U.S. history and was founded by leaders of the Islamic Association of Palestine, an overt arm of the Islamic supremacist Mulsim Brotherhood.
Last night, News Channel KFOR (4) in Oklahoma City reported more about a possible lawsuit against - well - the majority of Oklahomans who voted to amend their state's constitution to ban sharia and interntaional law from consideration in court cases on November 2nd.
Although CAIR and other Muslims claim sharia law is impossible here they have found it necessary to try to prevent it from being prevented with a lawsuit. So, you really have to ask yourself why. Are they saying Islam and Sharia law are one and the same?
KFOR Video:
Did I mention Imam Imad Enchassi in Oklahoma City posted part of verse from the Quran on Facebook yesterday which could be considered an incitement for Muslims to fight? I don't know what his intent was but it was a provacative verse to use, to say the least. See my previous post for more details.
Here's a Fox News video about Islamism which is very much worth watching when Juan Williams hosted the Bill O'Reilly show last Friday. Williams discussion about Islamism with Dr. Zuhdi Jasser is important. Dr. Jasser is a Muslim I very much admire, he heads the American Islamic Forum on Democracy:
Since 9/11 over 16,000 attacks carried out by Muslims have taken place worlwide. It happens multiple times a day - every single day. There is a serious threat to the world.
So, with that in mind here's a good discussion that took place on CNN about NPR's firing of Juan Williams. CAIR representative, Ahmed Rehab, insisted Williams personal opinion was irrational and bigoted. CAIR is an outgrowth of the Islamic supremacist Muslim Brotherhood and has a long history of problems in the U.S. so you get what you get with them. Why the media even uses them is beyond me. The other guest was Cliff May, who is the president of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) which was formed shortly after 9/11. The video is below.
Also, Hayri Abaza, a senior fellow at FDD co-wrote a very good article in Newsweek (OMG, will wonders never cease?) titled "Is It Islamic or Islamist?" chiding the left for supporting Islamism, i.e., political Islam/Islamic supremacy and the right for it dislike of Islamism and confusing it with Islam (however, Islamism is a part of Islam):
"...The left is wrongly defending Islamism—an extremist and at times violent ideology—which it confuses with the common person’s Islam, while the right is often wrongly attacking the Muslim faith, which it confuses with Islamism. Western thinkers must begin to recognize the difference between Islamism and Islam, or we are headed toward an ideologically defined battle with one quarter of humanity.
...The confusion over Islam has real consequences. When was the last time you read a piece by a leftist intellectual criticizing how the AKP is trampling media freedoms in Turkey? Or the Muslim Brotherhood’s refusal to recognize equal rights for women and Christians in Egypt? By defending Islamism, liberals are strengthening one of the biggest threats facing Muslims and Western liberalism alike. Meanwhile, by targeting the Muslim faith, the right is alienating potential allies in the Muslim community: conservative Muslims who want to practice their faith and despise Al Qaeda’s vision...
We have to face the fact that most Islamic countries and all those millions of very good Muslims are not stopping the global Jihadist and Islamist movements. Why??? There's nothing irrational, bigoted or Islamophobic about this threat.
A video taken last month over the Labor Day weekend by the Investigative Project on Terrorism shows Islamists gathering near the White House where they waved the flag for the terrorist group Hezbollah and Dr, Kaukab Siddique, a tenured associate professor of English and Mass Communications at Pennsylvania’s Lincoln University, spoke out against Israel:
A Massachusetts school district apologized last month for a field trip to the Islamic Society of Boston where the children were proselytized:
"...On Thursday, nearly four months after the incident, the Wellesley School District sent a letter to parents apologizing for what happened. "I extend my sincere apologies for the error that occurred and regret the offense it may have caused,” Superintendent Bella Wong wrote in a statement provided to FOX News Radio. “In the future, teachers will provide more clear guidance to students to better define what is allowed to fulfill the purpose of observation...”
The field trip was recorded by a mother who went along. The video below includes her video plus information known about the Boston Islamic center.
This past Sunday, Christiane Amanpour had a panel debate about Islam on her show on ABC. I urge everyone to watch it. A partial video of the program is embedded in a Washington Post article by Islamist-denier Eboo Patel who wrote "the most striking voices" in the debate were Rev. Franklin Graham and the Islamic supremacist interviewed from London, who declared Islam's goal is to take over the world and the flag of Islam will fly over the U.S. Capitol. Patel claimed these two men represented the same position! Patel went on to ask how does one build a fear bomb? Implying, to me anyway, that any concern about the global Islamist movement is a mere figment of our imagination. Eboo Patel serves on the Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
"...Brace yourselves, because the war with Muslims has just begun," 31-year-old Faisal Shahzad told a federal judge. "Consider me the first droplet of the blood that will follow."
...“We do not accept your democracy or your freedom because we already have Sharia law and freedom,” Shahzad said.
Even though Disneyland created several designs for a hijab to match the costume of a particular Muslim resturant hostess by the name of Imane Boudlal, they have been rejected by her, according to OC180News.com and the OCWeekly. She apparently found the hijab designed to match her hostess costume offensive and filed an EEOC complaint. Disneyland also offered for other roles where she could wear her own hijab, as well. Another Disneyland Muslim worker reached an acceptable agreement for her costume-matching hijab.
Here's news coverage from ABC7 about Boudlal from August:
CAIR and other Islamic organizations held a press conference yesterday in front of the newly purchased Park51building to extend their help to the GZM-dubbed project. Opponents have been called bigots for opposing the proposed Islamic center at the site where landing gear projectiled threw the roof from one of the planes used as weapons of mass destruction by Islamic extremists on 9/11/01. The second attack on the WTC by such extremists destroyed the well-known landmarks.
Four days before the attack, CAIR and other Islamic organizations (Library of Congress archive) blasted the U.S. government after a major raid on a key Islamic Internet company called Infocom. CAIR and others played the victim game big time and claimed it was an "anti-Muslim witch hunt promoted by the pro-Israel lobby in America". BBC and others reported the raid resulted in a temporary shutdown of websites it hosted for about 500 Islamic customers, including that run by Al-Jazeera television and the newspaper Al-Sharq, both based in the Gulf state of Qatar.
Its a strange and creepy coincident this anti-American Islamic press conference took place just four days before 9/11/01.
At Monday's press conference, CAIR's director, Nihad Awad, said this project wasn't a case but a "cause" and its all a misunderstand and misinformation if you are against it. To handle this they called for a week of "dialogue" next month to help make it all go away. A cause?
photo credit: Hiroko Masuike for The New York Times
The years between these two press conference are filled with disturbing rhetoric and actions by CAIR. They are an outgrowth of the Islamic supremacist Muslim Brotherhood infrastructure in this country, as identified by the FBI. In Palestine, the MB branch started Hamas which wants to destroy Israel for ISLAM (read it in their charter). The Muslim Brotherhood is anti-American and pro-Hamas. At most every opportunity CAIR tries to impede the FBI in doing their job to keep us safe from another Islamic-motivated terror attack. Whenever CAIR is confronted about their history, they whine its bigotry aimed at ALL Muslims, which is dishonest.
I urge every American to become better educated about Islamism (Islamic activism to gain power for Islam) which is far different than the secular and the quiet private practice of one's own religion. This way if you decide to attend one of their so-called Islamic whitewashing "National Week For Dialogue" events you know exactly what kinds of questions to ask. Do not let them off the hook when they try to avoid the question - keep drilling down and repeating the specific question when they try to change to subject. One way to learn is to review my many pages on CAIR and take some time to study them and other like groups.
Did I mention CAIR is bestowing Helen Thomas, the ex-White House correspondent whose anti-Israel comment led to her downfall and disgrace a lifetime achievement award? So, it all fits, doesn't it?
They and their leftist partners can have all the dialogue and outreach they want but it won't hide the goals of Islamists to push Islam into stronger more powerful positions at all levels of local, state and federal government and other entities as they try to convert as many of us to Islam to help change our views, our policies and our country with their Islamic activism.
"...Since their founding in 1994, CAIR has sued and/or attacked with consequence such media outlets as: The Washington Times, The Los Angeles Times, The National Post, National Review, Anti-CAIR, various talk radio hosts, and college newspapers. Recently, even The Daily Caller has found itself caught in CAIR’s crosshairs..."
Seattle cartoonist, Molly Norris, has gone into hiding on advice from the FBI after her Draw Mohammad Day cartoon resulted in an apparent fatwa against her, reports the Seattle Weekly News:
"You may have noticed that Molly Norris' comic is not in the paper this week. That's because there is no more Molly.
...She is, in effect, being put into a witness-protection program—except, as she notes, without the government picking up the tab. It's all because of the appalling fatwa issued against her this summer...
And, Muslims call us bigots for expressing concern about Islamic fanaticism, like the recent burning of the American flag in front of the American Embassy in Britain and the growing global Islamic supremacy movements. On the other hand, it's stupid and in bad taste to mock any religion in a cartoon.
Politico's Josh Gerstein wrote a curious article about an appeals case involving the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT) which was argued before the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans beginning yesterday. But, the judge closed the proceedings to the public.
"...The legal battle stems from federal prosecutors’ decision in 2007 to place NAIT and two other prominent Islamic organizations, the Council on American-Islamic Relations and Islamic Society of North America, on a publicly filed list of about 300 unindicted co-conspirators in a Dallas trial of a defunct Islamic charity accused of being a front for Hamas, the Holy Land Foundation.
...But the secrecy applied in the middle of the process, after briefs on the issue were filed publicly by both sides, seems like an effort to close the barn door after the horse has escaped. The closed-door proceedings are also likely to fuel both the widespread suspicion about Islam that many Americans have expressed in recent polls triggered by the New York mosque controversy and the perception among many Muslims that they aren’t being dealt with fairly or forthrightly by the justice system.
...Expected to be on hand for today's closed-door arguments are Vijay Shanker and Elizabeth Shapiro of the Justice Department's Criminal Division, NAIT counsel Tim Maggio and Kevin Wisniewski, NAIT Executive Director Mujeeb Cheema and trustee Bassam Osman..."
Texan Pfc. Nasser Abdo, 20, filed in June for conscientious objector status because he claims his Islamic faith and the military don't mesh and that he has suffered from religious discrimination. He's deployment to Afghanistan has been deferred. Abdo complained while in basic training he was cut off from his Islamic community and that the Imam at Ft. Campbell were he is stationed doesn't know Islam like his own personal Islamic community.
Abdo also believes Muslims should not be in the US. Military.
A Muslim is not allowed to participate in an Islamicly unjust war,"the Texan told ABCNews.com. "Any Muslim who knows his religion or maybe takes into account what his religion says can find out very clearly why he should not participate in the U.S. military.",
Abdo set up a website called freenasserabdo.org where he accepts donations to help him get out of the Army.
Did you know Jesus was a young Palestinian? Or, that Muslims were in America before Columbus? Watch the video.

In the New York Post today read HS test 'slams' Christianity, lauds Islam which shows how horribly slanted the Regents exam in this liberal state has become in its favoritism towards Islam and its denigration of Christianity: "...The most troubling passage came from Daniel Roselle's "A World History: A Cultural Approach," observers said.
The passage reads: "Wherever they went, the Moslems [sic] brought with them their love of art, beauty and learning. From about the eighth to the eleventh century, their culture was superior in many ways to that of western Christendom..."
I've got to say, President Barack Hussein Obama's response to a question about his comments about GZM/CordobaHouse/Park51 is kinda like he was for it before he was against but its more murky. Doesn't this remind you when he stated emphatically Jerusalem will always be the undivided capitol of Israel and the back-track the next day when he was campaigning?
The long pause before he answered the question and the he way he looked is worth watching in the video below.
Did I mention that on the National Day of Prayer this year there was verbal silence from this president?
The Cordoba Initiative is run by Imam Feisal Rauf who is one of key leaders for the ground zero mosque called Cordoba House - oops, now Park51.
A 2008 archive copy (scroll to bottom of page) of the Cordoba Initiative website explained the meaning behind their name:
The Cordoba Name
For hundreds of years during the middle ages, Cordoba was the capital of Muslim Spain. During much of its “golden age” from the 8th to 12th centuries, the Cordoba Caliphate witnessed a great flowering of culture, art, and philosophical inquiry amid a remarkable climate of religious tolerance. Religious freedom, while not perfect, was sufficient that many Jewish and Christian intellectuals emigrated to Cordoba, where they lived, wrote and flourished side by side with their Muslim counterparts in a strikingly pluralistic society. The Cordoba name reminds both Muslims and non- Muslims that a great Islamic civilization was once the most open and tolerant of its era.
"...Later that same day I found him by phoning a Malaysian office that was listed on the "Contact Us" page of his Cordoba Initiative, just under the New York office coordinates. In Malaysia, the street address is that of a luxury high rise in the capital of Kuala Lumpur. Rauf came to the phone. When I began asking about the funding of his Malaysian office, he got right off again, saying he was in an "important meeting." Personnel at his Malaysian number then told me all media questions should be referred to Khan, at the their office in New York..."
Here is a 2008 (the latest available) archive copy showing the Malaysia office.
A subchapter in Imam Feisal Rauf book What’s Right with Islam is What’s Right with America: A New Vision for Muslims and the West is titled America: A Sharia-Compliant State (ACLJ pdf file):
"...Rauf states “(w)hat I am demonstrating is that the American political structure is Shariah compliant, a „state inhabited predominantly by Muslims neither defines nor makes it synonymous with an Islamic state. It can become truly Islamic only by virtues of a conscious application of the sociopolitical tenets of Islam to the life of the national, and by an incorporation of those tenets in the basic constitution of the country.‟ By the same token, a state that does incorporate such sociopolitical tenets has become a de facto Islamic state even if there are no Muslims in name iving there, for it expresses the ideals of the good society according to Islamic principles. For America to score even higher on the „Islamic‟ or „Shariah Compliance‟ scale, America would need to do two things: invite the voices of all religions to join the dialogue in shaping the nation‟s practical life, and allow religious communities more leeway to judge among themselves according to their own laws” (86)
Review all my posts on the ground zero mosque here
The American Center for Law and Justice who represent a 9/11 New York firefighter has issued a press release calling the government to not sponsor a Middle East trip for controversial Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf who is a key figure associated with the ground zero mosque who has refused to call Hamas a terror group and has said America was an accessory to 9/11.
Why is our government sponsoring the promotion of Islam, or any religion, in any shape or form?
The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), which represents a New York City firefighter who survived the 9-11 terrorist attacks, today called on the U.S. State Department to immediately remove Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf from a taxpayer-funded trip to the Muslim world to promote what the government calls fostering a "greater understanding" of Islam. The ACLJ says the publicly-funded trip is absurd in light of the fact that the Imam has, on at least one occasion, refused to declare Hamas a terrorist organization and in the days following the tragic attacks of September 11th said the United States was "an accessory" to the crimes of 9-11.
...The ACLJ is planning to file an official letter of protest with the State Department - demanding that the government "cease and desist" in its plans to sponsor the Imam's globe-trotting journey.
The ACLJ already has filed suit in New York challenging a vote by the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC), which denied landmark status to the building where the mosque is planned.
Now it emerges that the Obama State Department is not only footing the bill for Imam Feisal Rauf’s fling to the Persian Gulf region; it has also posted Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s speech in vigorous support of Rauf’s Ground Zero project on its website (here).
Well, here's a new development. The property owned by the ground zero developers is not fully owned by them, according to the Washington Post's Half-baked mosque. Seems there are two building connected together with common walls and Con Edison owns the other building. But, the backers apparently failed to tell inform the Landmark Commission, if this article is accurate.
Sharif El-Gamal, who heads SoHo Properties bought one of the two buildings with cash and leased the 2nd building. Yet, a few short years ago he, apparently, was a waiter:
"..Since locating the absent Rauf last week in Malaysia, I have now discovered that he's about to embark on a nearly month-long swing through the Middle East, with plans to visit Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Qatar..."
Today the Landmark Preservation Commission in New York City will decide if a 150 year old historic building can be torn down in order to build a 13 story mosque/community center. There have been indications in the press they will approve this move.
The primary front people and backers of the mosque are Kuwait-born Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and his wife, Daisey Kahn, who have recently stopped calling it the Cordoba House, apparently, because that name is a constant reminder of the real Islamic conquest of Cordoba, Spain centuries ago. So in case you hadn't heard, it's now called Park51.
Rauf's father, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Rauf, moved to New York in the 60s, probably after President Johnson changed the immigration laws which allowed many more citizens from Middle East countries to immigrate here (coincidentally that's around the time when the Muslim Brotherhood first started some of their organizations here). Did you know another Islamic Cultural Center (NYT 1984) was also built in New York City with funds from Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Libya? Imam Feisal is on its board of trustees and his father was its first director. It has been reported Dr. Rauf was a Muslim Brotherhood member but I can't find confirmation of this, at this point. The Cultural Center's first shiekh, Muhammad Gemeaha, apparently said (NYT 11/4/01)''only the Jews'' were capable of destroying the World Trade Center and added that ''if it became known to the American people, they would have done to Jews what Hitler did.'' The interview with Gemeaha took place less than a week after he resigned (NYT 10/23/01)as Imam and suddenly moved to Egypt to live.
Yesterday, Kahn said they would include a memorial to the 9/11 victims which I think is the most insulting of all their promises. Gee, that makes everything all better - NOT!
In March, Imam Feisal was referenced or wrote an article on an Arabic website of the media department at Cario University titled “The Most Prominent Imam in New York: ‘I Do Not Believe in Religious Dialogue,’” according to Pajama Media! The page that linked to his statement has been removed.
Here's a link to a copy of a 60 Minute interview Rauf did on on Sept. 30 2001 that which is posted on Islam for Today:
...Bradley: it is the Islamic belief in the afterlife that could be an incentive to die in the name of Islam. According to the prophet Mohammed, the next life is paradise, offering forgiveness.
Faisal: In the Islamic belief system, the next life is the primary life. The next life is more real, more intense, and more vivid.
...Bradley: And throughout the Muslim world, there is also strong opposition to America's foreign policy, particularly in the Middle East because of its support of Israel and economic sanctions against Iraq.
Faisal: it is a reaction against the US government politically, where we espouse principles of democracy and human rights, and where we ally ourselves with oppressive regimes in many of these countries.
Bradley: Are you in any way suggesting that we in the United States deserved what happened?
Faisal<: I wouldn't say that the United States deserved what happened, but united states policies were an accessory to the crime that happened.
Bradley: You say that we're an accessory? How?
Faisal: Because we have been accessory to a lot of innocent lives dying in the world. In fact, in the most direct sense, Osama bin Laden is made in the USA.
Did you also know Imam Rauf's book on calling others to Islam was titled "Seruan Azan Dari Puing WTC Dakwah Islam di Jantung Amerika Pasca 9/11" in Malaysia? Translated?
"A call to prayer from the WTC debris - Islamic Da'wah in the heart of American post 9 / 11"
"...On Sept. 11, the landing gear assembly of one of the planes used in the attack crashed through the roof of what was then a Burlington Coat Factory..."
"...In recommending that a different location be found for the Islamic Center, we are mindful that some legitimate questions have been raised about who is providing the funding to build it, and what connections, if any, its leaders might have with groups whose ideologies stand in contradiction to our shared values..."
Here is an excellent story about some brave Muslim women in the U.S. who are working towards equality in their mosque, from the Wall Street Journal:
Muslim feminists call it the "penalty box." It's the area of a mosque where women, segregated from the men, pray. In Islam, prayer is required five times a day and Muslims often pray in congregation at mosques. During these prayers, women usually are partitioned off in a separate room or behind a curtain, "like naughty children," one Muslim woman tells me, while men pray in a grand main hall.
One Muslim, Fatima Thompson, describes the penalty box at her mosque in Maryland as an overheated, dark back room. Another Muslim woman, Asra Nomani, tells me that at a major Washington D.C. mosque, the female section was in a trailer, where the voice of the imam (the prayer leader) came from a crackling speaker. "It was so humiliating I never went back," says Ms. Nomani, a former reporter for the Journal.
Now these Muslim feminists have had enough. Hoping to reform Islam by making it more women-friendly, Ms. Thompson—an American convert to Islam—has organized several "pray-ins" at mosques in the D.C. area. These include the Islamic Center of Washington and the Dar Al-Hijra Islamic Center in Falls Church, Va., a mosque attended by several of the 9/11 hijackers and the Fort Hood mass killer Maj. Nidal Hasan. Ms. Thompson's next pray-in target is a mosque in Washington.
...Though neither Ms. Thompson nor Ms. Nomani has been arrested, say, for trespassing, Ms. Nomani—who has been fighting sexism at her mosque in West Virginia for seven years—says she has received several death threats. Such violence-oriented intolerance, which in the West has become the public image of Islam, seems irreconcilably at odds with the moderate feminism of the pray-in group...

Cordoba, Spain was once ruled by Islamic supremacists for hundreds of years. It was a major Islamic conquest.
AhluBayt News Agency reports that an Islamic TV channel is currently planned in Spain. This station will be funded by Saudi Arabia Risalat-ul-Islam Institute! The name of the TV station? Cordoba TV. The article goes on to explain more about Cordoba, Spain:
Córdoba is a city in Andalusia, southern Spain. In the Middle Ages it was capital of the Islamic caliphate which conquered and ruled Spain for nearly 800 years.During this time Cordoba was one of the largest cities in the world whose name continues to represent a symbol of Islamic conquest to many faithful Muslims around the world.
In another article from May by the same news source about the Ground Zero mosque it claimed there was no opposition to the mosque.
The Cordoba House - that's the name of the Islamic center will be - will stand above the former Burlington Coat Factory building, World Trade Center.
“The Muslim community must provide an opportunity to educate individuals about Islam through education and organized experiences of art, culture, and entertainment,” as quoted from a release.
“We decided we wanted to look at the legacy of 9/11 and do something positive,” said Daisy Khan, the executive director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement.
Initiator of the project, Cordoba Initiative, is now concerned with raising funding at around $100 million.
This will apparently be accomplished smoothly as the initiator said there was no criticism as well as opposition so far, adding that full support of the Cordoba House Islamic center is supported by surrounding Muslim community.
Calling the Ground Zero mosque "Cordoba House" is insensitive and insulting:

How refreshing to see efforts being made to right what appears to be a wrong in Dearborn, Michigan:
A Muslim attorney from Dearborn plans to hold a rally on Monday to express support for the four Christian missionaries arrested last month for allegedly disturbing the peace at an Arab festival.
Majed Moughni said the rights of the four Christians were violated when police arrested them on July 19 during the Arab International Festival, one of the biggest gathering of Arab-Americans in the U.S. The missionaries claim that Islam promotes violence and want to convert Muslims to Christianity.
"They should never have been arrested," said Moughni, who is Arab-American and Muslim. "They have a constitutional right to freedom of speech and religion."
Moughni said that the rights of the missionaries should be respected even if people disagree with their views or aggressive tactics.
...Moughi was the organizer of the anti-terrorism rally in January outside the federal courthouse in Detroit during a hearing for the Christmas Day bomber. After organizing the rally, Moughni received a death threat from a Muslim man in Europe linked to a plot to kill a cartoonist who drew Islam's prophet, Mohammed.
Rep. Pete King was on Fox News a couple of days ago and raised legitimate questions about the proposed ground zero mosque:
There was also a boisterous debate this week from the public who argued this building should be designated a landmark a historic building; Ground Zero Mosque & Landmarks Preservation Commission (Part 1) (video) and not be torn down. CAIR New York Board President Zead Ramadancalled the opposition (video) to the mosque Islamophobia at the meeting (yawn).
The University of Illinois fired, or didn't renew the contract, of a Christian professor by the name of Dr. Ken Howell for his comments about church teachings on homosexuality (which I disagree, for the record) but they won't touch Jaleel Abdul-Adil, a professor of clinical psychology there who is affilated with the Islamic supremacist group Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT) who has spoken out about the need to end our democracy and replace it with Islamic rule! This professor seeks the end of our government, which is a treasonist act to me.
Below is a screen shot of Professor Adil's videoed speech at the HT first pro-caliphate conference last year:
Anyway, during the Q & A at HT's first anti-American pro-calipahte conference last year, Abdul-Adil was asked if shari'a, or Islamic law, would trump the U.S. Constitution. "Yes, it would be gone," Abdul-Adil replied." and that every Muslim should use their skills in the struggle for an Islamic caliphate.
What a blatant and disturbing double standard. Now, that's a story the leftist media won't touch.
Below is a Fox News Video of a recent arrest of four Christians who were standing outside of an Arab Festval holding Christians phamlets, if anyone wanted them:
The Thomas More Law Center is going to represent these Christians in their right to stand on a public sidewalk. There's more information and videos at the Thomas More Law Center.
The issues that concerns me, and others, regarding Muslim are when they team up with Islamists and their organizations (i.e., CAIR), or help fund terrorists through Islamic charities such as with the Holy Land Foundation, which was the largest Islamic charity in the U.S. and it was shut down for sending millions to Hamas, a terror organization founded by the Islamic supremacist Muslim Brotherhood, which has set up a number of organizations in the U.S.. And, of course, the global terrorists threat which is never ending and is unprecedented in history. All this goes far beyond the mere practice of own's personal religion and it gives Islam a bad name.
While this family has a right to free speech and mostly used a verse out of the Quran, let's contrast this freedom with life in a Muslim dominated country run by sharia law. There, this family would have been arrested or worse. By the way, In a few conversations I've had with a couple Oklahoma Muslims, they strongly support sharia law, which I found alarming.
CAIR, an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure here in America, claims this is another sign of growing Islamophobia.
Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf(Imam Feisal or Imam Abdul-Rauf) is the leader of the proposed $100 million 13 story mosque and community center which will be just two blocks from the site of the World Trade Center attack. He is the Chairman and founder of the Cordoba Initiative which receives some of its funding from the Malaysian government. The new gz mosque and center planned will be called the Cordoba House. Cordova, Spain was a center of Islamic conquest and caliphate rule that lasted several hundred of years that took place over a 1,000 years ago, by the way. So, Is the name just coincidental? I highly doubt it - but who knows.
It appears from a New York Post article, and others sources, there's plenty of information about Feisal that you need to know and which the main stream media will probably not tell you.
Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is a key figure in Malaysian-based Perdana Global Peace Organization, according to its Website (z: see their about page and here)
Perdana is the single biggest donor ($366,000) so far to the Free Gaza Movement, a key organizer of the six-ship flotilla that tried to break Israel's blockade of the Hamas-run Gaza Strip Monday.
...“We have two Imam Raufs," Deborah Burlingame, the sister of the American Airlines pilot whose hijacked plane struck the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001, told the New York Post. "We have the anti-Israel, anti-democratic imam, and we have the smiling, soft-spoken moderate Muslim who says, 'Why can't we all get along?'... "
Hummm... Is it possible Perdana is pro Hamas?
Rauf said in 2003 "And we believe that 100 years more of targeted assassinations will never dry up the reservoir of young Palestinians willing to give up their lives." He then stated in 2004 that the U.S. and the West "must acknowledge the harm they have done to Muslims before terrorism can end" and that it was Christians who started mass attacks on civilians. He also said there was an endless supply of angry young Muslims ready to martyr themselves and there was no sign of the attacks ending unless there was a fundamental change in the world. Well, that doesn't seem too peaceful to me. In fact, it's the typical talk of an Islamist.
He said to PBS; "So any law, anything studied in the Quran or the hadith, is definitely [Sharia],' and "what really defines Islamic law [is] the sum total of Islamic law as has been practiced by Muslims throughout the last 14, 15 centuries." In another PBS interview he shilled again for Sharia by claiming people often think of few penalties for certain crimes (z: those that are gruesome) and fail to consider the sum total of Islamic law. Not too comforting.
Critics claim Feisal's father, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Rauf, was a leader in the Islamic supremacist Muslim Brotherhood. Dr. Rauf was born in Egypt and moved to Kuwait where Imam Feisal was born and then he came to America where he was involved in the building of the Islamic Cultural Center on the Upper East Side, according to a 1984 New York Times article which reported "plans for the center were first announced in the mid-1960's after organization efforts by Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Libya." Imam Feisal, his son, is a permanent trustee of the Center.
On a 60 Minutes program which aired on 9/30/2001, shortly after the 9/11 attacks, Imam Feisal said "I wouldn't say that the United States deserved what happened," -- "but United States policies were an accessory to the crime that happened." Rauf further stated, “because we [Americans] have been accessory to a lot of innocent lives dying in the world,” it could be said that “[i]n fact, in the most direct sense, Osama bin Laden is made in the USA.” Watch the September 30, 2001 segment at the 8:09 minute mark, but I recommend you watch the entire 15 minute video).
In October 2001, Rauf praisedSheik Yusef Qaradawi as "probably the most well-known legal authority in the whole Muslim world today." One major problem here, he is the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and is banned from the U.S. for his fatwas approving of martyrdom against Israel!
On May 20th, just a couple weeks ago, New York Councilman Robert Jackson, Councilwoman Margaret Chin, State Sen. Daniel Squadron, City Comptroller John Liu and Borough President Scott Stringer actually stood with Imam Feisal against a tea party leader who opposed the mosque which he described with poorly chosen words, for which he later apologized. State Sen. Daniel Squadron, City Councilwoman Margaret Chin and Councilman Robert Jackson, the Council’s sole Muslim, all spoke in favor of the plans.
There's strong and growing opposition to the Ground Zero mosque, including concerns expressed by my favorite Muslim, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, who is head of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy here and here.
2006 August: The Shariah Project – Initial Meeting in Kuala Lumpur Convened in Malaysia by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the Shariah Project’s initial meeting assembled five distinguished scholars of Islamic holy law from four countries. In addition to Imam Feisal, the group included: Professor Dr. Mahmood Ahmad Ghazi, Pakistan (Chairman of the Shariah Board for the State Bank of Pakistan and former president of International Islamic University); Professor Dr. Mohammad Hashim Kamali, Malaysia (Dean of the International Institute of Islamic Thought & Civilization and Former Interim Chairman, Constitutional Review Committee, Afghanistan); Professor Dr. Tahir Mahmood, India (Founder/Chairman, Amity University Institute for Advanced Legal Studies, New Delhi, and former Dean of the Faculty of Law, Delhi University); Dato’ Abdul Hamid Mohamad, Malaysia (Judge, Federal Court of Malaysia … Malaysian Supreme Court). Two American Muslims from New Jersey were apparenlty on their way to join a terrorist group in Somalia when they were arrested at JFK Airport before they boarded two different flights to Egypt. The men had been under the eye of the FBI for a number of years.
...Mohamed Hamoud Alessa, 20, of North Bergen, and Carlos Eduardo Almonte, 26, of Elmwood Park were apprehended at John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens before they could board separate flights to Egypt, where they were to start journeys to Somalia.
...Authorities said the men planned to wage jihad as part of a Somalia-based Islamist terror group called al Shabaab, an organization of several thousand fighters spread through Somalia’s southern region. Al Shabaab, whose full Arabic name means "Mujahideen Youth Movement," has had ties to al Qaeda since 2007, according to national security experts.
In the months leading up to their planned travel, authorities said, Alessa and Almonte saved thousands of dollars, conditioned themselves physically through tactical training and dry runs at paintball fields and acquired gear and apparel to be used once they joined up with al Shabaab in Somalia.
...In October 1993, 18 American soldiers were killed trying to take out key members of the leadership of the warring clan that controlled the Somali capital of Mogadishu. Some have suggested there was a link between that skirmish and bin Laden, although others dispute that.
...Al Shabaab has been waging its own militant battle and has been listed on the U.S. government’s roster of international terror organizations.
Below are a couple screen shots taken from a video posted by the Islamic Thinker Society from a anti-Israel rally that took place on June 1st in New York City. This New York-based Islamist group joins others, like Hizb ut Tahrir, RevolutionMuslim and the Muslim Brotherhood, who consistently portray Islam in a bad light - except the MB is more covert about it. These groups and their affiliates are the ones who claim others are Islamophobic when officials speak out about the dangers of Islamic supremacy.
Where's the outcry from the American Muslim leadership about these Islamic supremacist groups? Oh, wait - at least half of them or more are themselves part of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas infrastructure in America.
2nd screen shot:
Their video is posted on their YouTube channel. It's very graphic but it shows the absolute hatred they have for Israel and their supporters.
Now, why would this happen? Well, she said it was because she had married a Christian.
There's really no telling what might have happened to her had her husband not got the police involved who then tracked her approximate location by GPS. The whole incident involved a rented van, other men, and her parents. No charges have been filed as police are still gathering information.
What? Oklahoma native and Muslim convert, Kareem Salama, is on an all expense paid month-long singing trip to a number of Middle East countries with the goal to help improve relations with the Muslim world. Think it will work? Well, he does have a great voice.
In the Middle East, those who live under Sharia law face the possibility of death if they criticize Islam. The undeniable religious supremacist nature of Islamic rule cannot be overlooked or ignored.
In America, CAIR, an organization founded by the Islamic supremacist Muslim Brotherhood, goes for the jugular of public officials who criticize Islam. CAIR and their leftist partners. the dhimmicrats often work hand-in-hand to impose this same Islamic law onto non-Muslims - although they word-smith it so it's not so obvious but the intent is the same.
The OIC, alleged to have possible ties to CAIR, is a Saudi-based and backed inter-governmental Islamist agency working to get a binding resolution approved at the U.N. that would make criticizing Islam illegal - worldwide, down to the local, state and national level. They have already been successful in getting several non-binding resolutions passed.
Americans had better wake up to what is going on here before it's too late.
The latest official on the hot seat this week is Rev. Franklin Graham who is scheduled to be the speaker at the Pentagon's National Day of Prayer on May 6th. But, not if CAIR and the Military Religious Freedom Foundation get their way. They want him uninvited. CAIR whines that Rev. Graham said Muslims are enslaved by Islam. But, isn't it true that Muslim cannot leave their religion in Islamic countries? Can Rev. Graham not state this fact? Can he also not say he does not believe in Islam?
Think about this, anytime a Muslim recites the Quran they repeat verses that are anti-any other religion but Islam. This is a book that makes it clear that Muslims believe Islam is the final religion that should rein over all others. Hypocritcs?
Rev. Graham has the right to criticize Islam or any religion he wants. Just as I do and just as you do.
Instead of applauding the FBI for their relentless work to help prevent the next attack on innocent Americans by Muslim extremists, several Muslim college students at the University of Texas in Dallas (UTD) or the University of North Texas (Denton) either complained or hired an attorney who advised them NOT to talk to the FBI (was CAIR was involved?):
...Political science senior Borna Danesh (pictured) said he first encountered the bureau when representatives greeted him outside his class in November, around the time of the Nov. 5, 2009 Fort Hood shooting.
Danesh said FBI agents questioned him as they walked across campus, asking him to identify radical UTD students, radical preachers and asking him about his political views.
He said he was questioned again this spring, and still isn’t sure what prompted the interest.
Danesh also found out he was on the Transportation Security Administration “no-fly” list when he was stopped at an airport.
...He sometimes attends prayers at UTD, and is a member of Muslim Students for Justice (linked added by z), an off-campus group he described as hosting pro-Palestine and Malcolm X-influenced events.
...Danesh’s friend Irfan Hussain, a University of North Texas senior, said he was contacted by the FBI last October and again in March. An agent went to his home to speak with him and also called him by phone.
“It seems like they’re just trying to frame or harass me,” Hussain said.
Hussain hired an attorney, who advised him to not answer the FBI’s questions.
There are 3,540 active duty Muslims in the military, a fraction of 1 percent of the 1.5 million active-duty personnel, according to the Washington Post.
Have you heard of an agorist before? Well, I sure haven't, until now. According to Wikipedia, ideologically it's a term for a revolutionary type of anarcho-capitalism (individualistic anarchist) or free-market anarchism, whatever that means. There's a Muslim writer in the Examiner by the name of Davi Barker who is the Muslim writer for San Francisco. He tweets under the name MuslimAgorist.
Recently, and quite disturbingly, CAIR asked him to talk to some high school students about libertarianism, which can mean the abolishment of a government at the far end of its definition. A sub-category is an anarcho-capitalist who advocates this abolishment.
America is a country whose religious majority are overwhelmingly Christians. The Presidential Council of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnership issued a report on Tuesday consisting of 176 pages of recommendations going forward. While, I haven't had a chance to read the report I did a search for the word Christians and it came up only one time! I entered the word Muslims and it came up 21 times! Muslims in America make up around 1% of the population, but you wouldn't know it from the report.
Daniel Higgins was paid good money to take classes for over 100 Middle Eastern men in the Los Angeles area, according to ICE officials reports by Fox News.
Today he was charged with immigration fraud along with six other men.
...Officials say that records seized from Higgins' home in Laguna Niguel, Calif., show that more than 100 students from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Lebanon, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates hired him to do their classwork and take their tests.
..."This is unique and not something we have seen in the past," said Jorge Guzman, a special agent with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. "We don't know the motive of these men coming from these countries, why they were here or why they were not attending classes."
ICE agents said some of the foreign students involved in the fraud will be charged with crimes, and others will simply be deported.
Sources said they do not know if any of the men are considered national security threats, but several are "persons of interest."
...After the 9/11 terror attacks, American colleges were supposed to tighten their monitoring of foreign students and verify their identities. Guzman says this case proves some campuses have a long way to go.
