Last Thursday, CAIR Oklahoma posted a headsup about an anti-Israel rally planned that was organized "primarily" by the Tulsa Peace Fellowship and Oklahoma City's Peace House run by director Nathaniel Batchelder to decry Israel's stopping of the flotilla of humanitarian aid to Hamas-controlled Gaza. Aid which Hamas has now refused to allow into Gaza - giving this whole incident the impression the flotilla was a deliberate act of provocation.
The anti-Israel rally was countered by two pro-Israel women whose determined efforts brought out the goodness of Oklahomans who passed by them, some even joined them, as they stood across the street from the small anti-Israel group that included the director of CAIR, Razi Hashmi - a man who has shilled for the terrorist group Hamas in the press before.
My friend at OkieCampaign posted an account of that evening titled Two Became Twenty written by one of the determined women. It's definitely worth reading in its entirety. It's a heart-warming story of their efforts and the random acts of kindness of others.

The OIC, a Saudi-based and back inter-governmental Islamist organization, held a press conference yesterday to claim the international community has isolated Israel and is now in conflict with many countries and faiths. This is more of the Islamist spin on efforts they hope will led to Israel's decline rather than based in reality:
...Secretary-General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu said Israel was given a stern warning that its attack on the Freedom Flotilla was going to have far-reaching consequences. The incident has isolated the Zionist state from the international community, which has united in condemning Israeli aggression, he said....Flanked by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Malki at the press conference, he invited OIC Ambassadorial Groups in New York and Geneva to work for the adoption of an international stand condemning “this odious crime” and the lifting of the “lawless blockade on the Gaza Strip.”
...The meeting agreed that it was no longer a conflict between Israel and Palestine, rather it was Israel versus 32 countries whose citizens were on board the aid flotilla and who were of all faiths and backgrounds. “Therefore, it should be interpreted as an attack on the United Nations and its values,” Ihsanoglu said, calling for the convening of a UN General Assembly session on the issue...
Continuing on with their efforts to stop any criticism of Islam - even if it is true, In their 3rd annual Islamophobia report (pg 11 of the report), their expressed their displeasure and surprise the Obama administration did not buy in to their attempt to get a binding resolution to stop any criticism of Islam through the U.N.
...the criticism leveled by the US Administration on the OIC proposed legally binding instrumentwas not in line with the expectations raised by promise of engagement in the Cairo speech by President Obama. In October 26, 2009 the U.S. State Department released its Annual Report on International Religious Freedom. It was critical of what it said were international efforts to limit free speech in the name of combating defamation of religion, criticizing the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) for pushing such antidefamation measures in U.N. bodies. ...A positive response by the US to the OIC’s call for engagement towards evaluating and evolving norms towards combating Islamophobia –with particular reference to defamation of religions –would constitute a positive step forward in terms of backing President Obama’s words with action....
This is Islamism and its coming to a country near you.

From the IDF blog: Specific Flotilla Passengers Linked to Al-Qaeda, Hamas and Other Terror Organizations, 6 June 2010. Two of the five names listed are Americans. More here at Haaretz.
Also, Iran's Revolutionary Guard has offered to provide a military escort to cargo ships trying to break Israel's blockade of Gaza, which has been in place since 2007 when Hamas violently took over the Gaza Strip. Since 1988, Hamas has called for the destruction of Israel for Islam, which is stated in their written charter.
Update 6/7/10: Al Jazeera interview with Ken O'Keefe, one of the two American (if you can call him one). Does he have a tattoo around his neck, or what?? How odd. Anyway, this is one angry man.
On his FB page called Aloah Palestine, he claimed America is the greatest terrorist!
"In response to the Israeli governments claims that I, Ken O'Keefe, am an operative of Hamas who intended to train terrorists in Gaza, I make a counter charge; Israel and the United States, along with their British partner, are the greatest terrorists of our time. Selling, distributing and using more weapons of mass destruction than all other nations combined. When I speak of terrorism I am using the Black's Law Dictionary definition of the word, with that definition it is clear that the United States is the number one terrorist of the 20th and 21st centuries."
He lives in London.
Update 6/8/10: It seems O'Keefe denounced his American citizenship which he talked about in an interview on Al Jazeera in 2008 (its starts off in French but he speaks in English).
"I charge the United States with being the number 1 terrorist in the world..."

White House correspondent Helen Thomas, a columnist for the Hearst Newspapers, apparently hasn't a clue that Palestine did not exist in Bibical times which is why it was never mentioned in the Bible or the Quran. On the other hand, Israel is mentioned in both books.
Palestine was a territory of the Islamic supremaist Ottoman Empire which drove out many, many Christians and Jews over the centuries. Helloooo??? Is anyone paying attention here?
This woman sits in the front row at White House press briefings.
Video filmed at the White House on May 27th:
More troubling leftist media bias.
Update 6/6/10: Yesterday, Thomas apologized over the remarks she obviously meant. Today, entertainment agency 9 Speakers, Inc. dropped her as a client and she was dropped from speaking at a high school graduation later this month.

First, though, you need to know about a recent Guardian interview with Khaled Meshal, the political leader of Hamas, which reeked of scorn against the U.S. whose envoys, he claimed, talk to the terrorist group directly but the U.S. isn't brave enough to do it openly (i.e., they meet in secret). He then lavished praise on Russia's president for a direct meeting with him in what appeared to be a political ploy to make the U.S. look very timid.
We all know Israel is the stated enemy of Hamas who wants its destruction for "Islam" that you can read all about in their 1988 charter. This is just one part of a much larger global Islamist movement to regain the land once under the firm control of a long series of Islamic supremacist caliphates. The ultimate goal of this movement is global control aided by multiple jihadist attacks carried out daily worldwide which, surprise, surprise, the Obama administration refuses to recognize.
It seems to me Muslims don't want to be reminded that in June 2007 Hamas violently overthrew the Gaza Strip (area in white above) in a Palestinian civil war that seized power from the Fatah government. After this happened, access to the area was severely limited by Israel and Egypt. Yes, Egypt.
A flotilla of ships heading towards a Gaza port was stopped by the Israeli Navy today after it has been warned it would not be allowed to sail directly to the strip. In spite of the warnings, Hamas had planned a big reception for them.
While the Arab world condemns Israel, a recently released video by the IDF appears to shows Israeli soldiers being attacked as they boarded one of the ships in the flotilla:
Anna Baltzer, CAIR Oklahoma's keynote (anti-American, anti-Israeli) speaker recently, was to travel to Palestine during this time as noted on her twitter post. Here you will also find two links to the speech she gave in Oklahoma City posted on May 20th. I don't know if she was on the flotilla but she is an excellent example how Islamists and their leftist minions try to make everything all Israel's (and the U.S.'s) fault.
Meanwhile, Hamas welcomes Israel aid ship action 'condemnation' (good video interview) which hasn't waivered from their goal to destroy Israel for Islam in over 22 years. And as a final reminder, Palestine was a territory of the Ottoman Empire - an Islamic hegemony that lasted centuries, It did not exist in Bibical times and was never mentioned in the Quran which was written centuries later.
Update 6/1/10: It also appears secular Turkey, whose ancient city, Istanbul, once thrived with Christians until it became the headquarters of the Ottoman Empire, has taken a turn towards Islamism; Turkey urges world to punish Israel for 'massacre' and Turkey wants US condemnation of Israeli raid.
The Turkish flag was flown on at least one of the flotilla ships.

It's clear the relationship between the U.S. and Israel has deteriorated significantly since President Obama took office. The man belonged to a church for twenty years whose own pastor published a letter from Hamas's leader in the Pastor's Corner section of their weekly newspaper, for crying out loud. The worrisome account of Saudi support for Obama goes back to his days college.
Today, Ronald Lauder, the president of the World Jewish Congress published an open letter to President Obama on their website. Below are some excerpts
...Jews around the world are concerned today. We are concerned about the nuclear ambitions of an Iranian regime that brags about its genocidal intentions against Israel. We are concerned that the Jewish state is being isolated and delegitimized.Mr. President, we are concerned about the dramatic deterioration of diplomatic relations between the United States and Israel. The Israeli housing bureaucracy made a poorly timed announcement and your Administration branded it an “insult.” This diplomatic faux pas was over the fourth stage of a seven stage planning permission process – a plan to build homes years from now in a Jewish area of Jerusalem that under any peace agreement would remain an integral part of Israel. Our concern grows to alarm as we consider some disturbing questions. Why does the thrust of this Administration’s Middle East rhetoric seem to blame Israel for the lack of movement on peace talks? After all, it is the Palestinians, not Israel, who refuse to negotiate.Israel has publicly declared support for a two-state solution. Conversely, many Palestinians continue their refusal to even acknowledge Israel’s right to exist...
Palestine was a territory of an Islamic hegemony called the Ottoman Empire which ruled over a large expanse of land for centuries that grew in size during aggressive seizure of land by force. This historical fact is key to understand what happened in this region. It drove many Jewish people from their own homes. It was also responsible for the genocide of up to 1 1/2 million Armenians near the end of the empire starting in 1915. Most were Christians.
Islamists (Islamic supremacists) want all this land back for Islam, as stated in the Hamas charter. Their goal is to delegitimize Israel. President Obama seems to be helping them.

The Florida Security Council has produced a video you must watch which helps build upon the knowledge we have, or need to have about Islamism (Muslims who seek political power for the cause of Islamic supremacy). In this video a term is used called "progressive Islam" which is new to me - I'm not sure about it, yet, but the history of the Islamist movement in the video is powerful.
We need to educate ourselves and our children more on this movement and we must become passionately involved because Islamists, eat live and breath their cause every hour of every day. We no longer have the luxury to go about our daily lives without a care in the world, as we once did. The Florida Security Council will hold a demonstration (another good video) on Muslim Capitol Day on March 11th.
It is important to clarify there are Muslims who want to practice secular Islam in America who are against Islamism. These are the Muslims who need to rise up in America and it is up to us to do it. So, let's be clear - to be an activist against Islamism is not an indictment against all Muslims. Islamist will not separate the two while secular Muslims will.
Sayyid Qutb (PBS), the architect of the modern day Islamist movement mentioned in the video went to college at, what is now known as, the University of Northern Colorado in 1949. When he returned to Egypt, Qutb became a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood shortly after the founder Hassan al-Banna was assassinated in 1949. Other Islamists have also gone to this college, for some odd reason. I am reasonably sure most everything in this video can be backed by a credible proof source. I also want to point out the Saudi prince mentioned in the film is the largest stakeholder in News Corporation, the parent of Fox News, outside the Rupert Murdoch family, which is worrisome.
This video is disturbing because of the hate Islamists and their supporters have towards America, Christians and Jews and all others. Their view of the world is seen through Islamic supremacist lenses only. They threaten our democracy through their intimidations, coercion, hateful protests, ill will, action alerts and anti-security efforts, to name a few. Their cause is also aided by jihadists terrorists. They show their American neighbors the opposite how good neighbors treat each other. Part of their goal here is to use community organizing and other methods to mask their true intent based on internal Muslim Brotherhood documents found in America and presented as evidence in the trial largest Islamic charity in America for funding Hamas.
Video: (10:59 min)
Thank MT.

Michael Oren, the Israeli ambassador to the U.S. was treated horribly during a speech he gave at the University of California Irvine last night. Eleven students were arrested for disturbing the peace which involved interrupting his speech a number of times with shouts.
The UCI Muslim Student Union opposed his presence and issued a statement condemning his appearance. UCI is well-known for its Muslim students who have strong anti-Israel bias. Their behavior is a stain on the college but, more importantly, it 's a reflection on their parents and the kind of values and lack of tolerance they taught their children.

A number of Democrats have taken, what could be called the side of the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, since they urge President Obama to pressure Israel to remove their blockade which protects the citizens of Israel from another terrorist attack by Hamas, a group classified as a foreign terrorist organization by the U.S. government.
Hamas violently overthrew Gaza Strip in 2007 and embedded themselves among the civilians. Yet, the Dems who signed the letter want Israel to ease the blockade! What about calling for Hamas to get out of there?
Furthermore, Qatar-based Islamonline, which is chaired by the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Yusef Qaradawi, who is banned from entering the United States for his fatwas that approve of killing Israelis - including women and children, has a copy of the letter!
This is how Islamists and their Democratic partners have worked their way into the very fiber of American government.

Magnificant news that Israel finds remains of Jesus-era home in Nazareth :
Israeli archaeologists have uncovered a home dating to the time of Jesus in the town of Nazareth where he is said to have spent the better part of his life, the antiquities authority said Monday. The remains were found near the Basilica of the Annunciation, built on the ruins of three earlier churches on the site where Christians believe Mary was told by the angel Gabriel that she would give birth to Jesus.
"The discovery is of the utmost importance since it reveals for the very first time a house from the Jewish village of Nazareth and thereby sheds light on the way of life at the time of Jesus," said Yardenna Alexandre, who is heading the excavation.
"The building that we found is small and modest, and it is most likely typical of the dwellings in Nazareth in that period."

Is Hamas is being challenged in Gaza for power? And get this, it's not coming from Israeli forces or the rival Fatah party but another Islamist terrorist group. Who would have thought?
The leader of an al-Qaida-inspired group in the Gaza Strip blew himself up during a shootout Saturday with security forces that killed 24 people and posed one of the biggest challenges to Hamas since the group seized power in Gaza two years ago.The fighting erupted Friday when Hamas security men surrounded a mosque in the southern Gaza town of Rafah on the Egypt border where about 100 members of Jund Ansar Allah, or the Soldiers of the Companions of God, were holed up.
...The head of the radical Islamic group, Abdel-Latif Moussa, was killed when fighting resumed after dawn Saturday, Ihab Ghussein, a Hamas Interior Ministry spokesman, told The Associated Press.
The group's Web site vowed vengeance, meanwhile, saying "we swear to God to avenge the martyrs' blood and we will turn their women to widows."
...Jund Ansar Allah and a number of other small, shadowy radical groups seek to enforce an even stricter version of Islamic law in Gaza than that advocated by Hamas.
The confrontation was triggered when the leader of the group defied Gaza's Hamas rulers by declaring in a Friday prayer sermon that the territory was an Islamic emirate.
Pictured above in an AP photo are members of Jund Ansar Allah who surround their leader Abdel-Latif Moussa as he speaks during Friday prayers in Rafah..
How does the "religion of peace" get so twisted in the minds of jihadists? Can someone please tell me specifically how these people have interpreted the Quran and Hadiths incorrectly?

Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, the Secretary General of the Saudi-based and backed Organization of Islamic Conference, ruled out normalizing relations with Israel before they meet the Arab's world peace requirements. which is primarily a one-sided document to gain control of Jerusalem.
The Arab world owns 99% of the land in the Middle East and want Jerusalem as Palestine's capital.
The name Palestine was not formally used until the Islamic Ottoman Empire did so in documents, if I recall correctly. No place in the Bible or the Quran is Palestine mentioned once. Israel is written about in both books, on the other hand.
From Arab News:
“...The OIC has adopted the Arab peace initiative, which is based on the principle of land for peace, return of Palestinian rights and endorsement of Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine,” the OIC chief said in an interview with Tunisia’s Al-Sabah newspaper.
Ihsanoglu backed the two-state proposal and hoped Israel would accept it. “The Israeli government should stop building new Jewish settlements in the occupied territories to prove its good intentions,” he told the newspaper.

A step in the right direction was made in the draft resolution for Durban II when it removed most of the criticism against Israel, except the part about them being occupiers of a foreign land.
In addition, references to criticism of Islam appears to have been watered down.
But, we will have to see how the final resolutions are worded at the conference itself:
"Specific criticism of Israel was dropped from a draft resolution prepared for a United Nations-sponsored anti-racism conference.
The new draft resolution for the Durban II conference, to be distributed to government ministers this week, does not single out Israel for criticism but still speaks of concern about negative stereotyping of religions. It also does not include a provision backed by Muslim countries that criticizes "defamation of religion."
The new draft, obtained by JTA, comes amid recent threats from the European Union, Germany and Australia to boycott the Durban Review Conference unless the resolution is more balanced and not an Israel hate fest, as was the original 2001 Durban anti-racism conference.
Israel and Canada already have said they will not attend the conference, scheduled for April in Geneva. The United States and Italy also have said they will not attend unless the resolution is more balanced.
The original resolution singled out Israel as having racist policies and called it an occupying power. The draft also included five paragraphs devoted to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
....The elimination of references to Israel and other specific countries, and the striking of the "defamation of religion" passage do meet some of the Obama administration's conditions for participation in the conference laid out in late February. But the new text reaffirms the concluding document of the first Durban conference, which singled out the "plight of the Palestinian people under foreign occupation.""

According the website, End the Occupation, (ETO), President Obama did not mention aid to Israel in his budget summary or in his formal address to Congress.
Islamists rejoiced!
ETO is an organization dedicated to change U.S./Israeli policies, who, as you can see, refers to Israel as an occupier of Palestinian land. This statement is largely based on this regions previous occupation by the Islamic Ottoman Empire which began to refer to this area as Palestine, for the first time.
From their March 2nd post title Take Action: No Mention of Aid to Israel in Budget, Thank Pres. Obama we read:
"Last Thursday, President Obama sent his FY2010 budget outline to Congress and we were pleasantly surprised to see that it contained no mention of military aid to Israel.
To read the budget outline, click here. (Skip ahead to p.87 for the section on the Department of State and other international programs.)
...To read President Obama’s remarks to Congress click here.
Does this mean that President Obama will not include $2.775 billionin military aid to Israel when he delivers his actual detailed budget request to Congress in April as expected? That’s highly doubtful.
But the absence of any mention of it in the budget outline or the President’s address to Congress does mean that military aid to Israel is becoming a political liability, something that is now downplayed and no longer trumpeted.
Since last Monday, together we have sent more than 7,000 letters to President Obama calling for an investigation into Israel's misuse of U.S. weapons and a reconsideration of budget requests for more weapons. More letters have been sent by supporters of the Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation, Progressive Democrats of America, United for Peace and Justice, the Council for the National Interest and others, in a coordinated campaign that we organized..."
Americans must become very aware of the Islamist attempt to change U.S. policy towards Israel. Be sure to watch the video below from ETO which show the access this Islamist organization has to Congress:

Durbin II is heading to be just another Israel bashing event, like Durbin I. Country's who recognize this and refuse to attend are courageous in today's environment. Italy is the first European country to do so. It should be noted, at this point, the UK has not withdrawn.
Italy has pulled out of a UN conference on racism seen by many Western governments as being hijacked by Muslim attempts to attack Israel and shield Islam from criticism.
Foreign Minister Franco Frattini said Thursday that Italy had withdrawn its delegation from the negotiations ahead of the so-called Durban II conference due to "aggressive and anti-Semitic statements" in the draft of the event's final document.
Frattini made the comments in Brussels, where he attended a NATO meeting. Ministry Spokesman Maurizio Massari said Rome would not participate in the conference unless the document is changed.
A similar condition has been impose by the United States, while Israel and Canada have already announced a boycott.
Frattini also said that he planned to cancel his controversial upcoming visit to Iran, a move which had created tension between Israel and Italy. ----- Also see: European group to EU: Snub Durban II - Pressure Mounting On UK To Withdraw From Durban II

This allegation was made in an article in Forbes on February 22nd about the U.S. participation at an planning conference for Durbin II. But it gets even worse, because the arthor, Anne Bayefsky, a senior fellow of the Hudson Institute, also accused the Obama administration of a cover-up:
"The Obama administration's decision to join the planning of the U.N.'s Durban II "anti-racism" conference has just taken a new twist: cover-up. On Friday, State Department officials and a member of the American Durban II delegation claimed the United States had worked actively to oppose efforts to brand Israel as racist in the committee drafting a Durban II declaration. The trouble is that they didn't.
The Feb. 20 State Department press release says the U.S. delegation in Geneva "outline[d] our concerns with the current outcome document" and in particular "our strong reservations about the direction of the conference, as the draft document singles out Israel for criticism." One member of the delegation told The Washington Post: "The administration is pushing back against efforts to brand Israel as racist in this conference." In fact, tucked away in a Geneva hall with few observers, the U.S. had done just the opposite. The U.S. delegates had made no objection to a new proposal to nail Israel in an anti-racism manifesto that makes no other country-specific claims.
..."The U.S. administration attended four full days of negotiation. During that time they witnessed the following: the failure to adopt a proposal to act against Holocaust denial, a new proposal to single out Israel, which will now be included in the draft without brackets, broad objections to anything having to do with sexual orientation, vigorous refusal by many states to back down on references to "Islamophobia" (the general allegation of a racist Western plot to discriminate against all Muslims), and numerous attacks on free speech..."
The OIC Umma, or put another descriptive way, the pre-caliphate Islamic organization, will be very pleased.
The Obama team appears to have seriously bamboozled Americans.

How funny. The U.N., which is usually quick to point the finger at Israel, is demanding the return of aide taken by the terrorist organization Hamas:
"U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Friday pressed Hamas to release the humanitarian aid shipment it seized in the Gaza Strip and provide assurances that no further aid would be taken.
Ban's spokeswoman Michele Montas told reporters that Ban "demands that Hamas immediately release the (U.N.) consignment of humanitarian goods it seized last night, in the second such incident this week, and to refrain from interference with the provision and distribution of humanitarian assistance."
She added that Ban wanted guarantees that it would not happen again.
Hamas denied it had confiscated any supplies, saying it was a misunderstanding between drivers.
The U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which supports much of Gaza's 1.5 million population, said Hamas forces had seized 10 trucks loaded with humanitarian supplies. Earlier in the week Hamas men took blankets and food from an UNRWA store in Gaza..."

How interesting. The exhiled leader of Hamas, Kahlid Mashaal, met with Ayatollah Khamenei. Here is the press they are getting in Iran:
"The Leader of the Islamic Revolution calls for serious progress in investigations into Israel's criminal acts committed in the Gaza Strip.
"It is important to follow up on the issue of bringing leaders of the Zionist regime [of Israel] to trial because they committed war crimes [during their recent military campaign against the besieged Gaza]," Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said in a Sunday meeting with Hamas political leader, Khaled Mashaal, in Tehran.
Ayatollah Khamenei praised the victory of Gazans and the Islamic resistance against Israel in the 23-day onslaught on the Gaza Strip.
The Leader further said that the war on Gaza was not over yet, adding that the western-backed media have waged a psychological war on the costal strip in an attempt to distort the truth about Hamas and the Islamic resistance.
...During the meeting Mashaal briefed the Leader on Israel's 23-day incursion into the Gaza Strip and hailed the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation for their political and moral support for Palestinians.
...The Leader also said that the US and Israel, which once thought they were the strongest powers in the world, are now weakened and their hegemony nears its end."

An explosive has killed an Israeli soldier and, as a result, Israel retaliated against Palestine:
"Palestinian militants killed one Israeli soldier and seriously wounded another in a cross-border bombing Tuesday morning, prompting an Israeli counterattack that killed a Palestinian farmer and wounded a Hamas fighter.
The clash, near the central Gaza border crossing of Kissufim, is the most serious threat so far to the separate cease-fires declared by Israel and the militant group Hamas that have largely held since Jan. 18 after a three-week Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip."

Former Democratic Senator George Mitchell will likely be on his way to the Middle East next week to work on the peace process between Israel and Palestine:
"President Barack Obama plans to dispatch his Middle East envoy to the region next week, in a quick start to the new administration's efforts to revive Israeli-Palestinian peacemaking and shore up a shaky Gaza truce.
Obama has taken the Middle East by surprise with the speed of his diplomatic activism.
Western, Arab and Israeli diplomats said his envoy, former U.S. Sen. George Mitchell, was expected to make stops in Egypt, Israel, the occupied West Bank and Jordan, but they ruled out direct contacts with Hamas Islamists who rule the Gaza Strip.
The trip is expected to last roughly a week and will likely include a stop in Saudi Arabia but not Syria, one diplomat said..."

Using rheteric not before heard by the Saudi's, probably because the Saudis believe Obama is more sympathetic towards the Palestininans (what foreign president did he call first?) Prince Turki al-Faisal threathened the new president:
"Unless the new U.S. administration takes forceful steps to prevent any further suffering and slaughter of Palestinians, the peace process, the U.S.-Saudi relationship and the stability of the region are at risk," said Turki, a former Saudi intelligence chief and former ambassador to the United States and Britain.
If the U.S. wants to continue playing a leadership role in the Middle East and keep its strategic alliances intact -- especially its 'special relationship' with Saudi Arabia -- it will have to drastically revise its policies vis-a-vis Israel and Palestine," Turki wrote. He said Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had written to Saudi King Abdullah last week urging Saudi Arabia to lead a "jihad," or holy war, against Israel.
This call for jihad would, if pursued, create "unprecedented chaos and bloodshed" in the region, said Turki.
"So far, the kingdom has resisted these calls, but every day this restraint becomes more difficult to maintain," he said.
Turki urged Obama to condemn what he called "Israel's atrocities" against the Palestinians..."

Said Siam was one of Hamas' more radical leaders and its Interior Minister. On Thursday he was killed by IDF as forces push deeper into Gaza. Siam and was a close associate of Hamas' leader in exhile Khaled Mashaal, according to the Jerusalem Post. Mashaal, as you may recall, was in Oklahoma City at a major Hamas fund-raiser conference in 1992 where many of our Muslim neighbors attended.
Siam was employed as a teacher at a UN-run school!
"...Troops also opened fire at two UN vehicles in the Strip on Thursday. One of the cars, the IDF said, did not have markings identifying it as a UN vehicle. The other was marked as a UN car, but gunshots were fired from it at IDF troops, who returned fire.Earlier in the day, the IDF shelled the UN headquarters in the Gaza Strip after Givati Brigade soldiers came under anti-tank fire from gunmen standing next to the compound, defense officials said. The IDF responded by firing artillery shells at the gunmen, and it appeared that one of the shells accidentally hit a UN warehouse, setting it afire, the officials said..."

It looks like even pop-stars may come under the rath or face danger from Islamists if they visit Israel.
"Pop-icon Madonna has received death threats from Muslim extremists following the Israel Defense Forces' ongoing offensive in the Gaza Strip, according to a report by the newspaper People.
...Following the threats Madonna reportedly hired two Israeli bodyguards to provide security for her and her family.
The report states that an internet site affiliated with Muslim extremists quotes a top official of the Palestinian Popular Front committees' saying "If I meet her? I will have the honor of being first to behead her if they continue to spread their satanic culture against Islam."
The bodyguards that were hired warned Madonna's husband, Guy Ritchie, that his home, located on a busy London street, is in danger of being attacked, especially when he is looking after the couple's three children.
Madonna has requested that Ritchie, from whom she had recently separated, find a new home that would be safer, and the latter promised to do so upon his return from New York. Meanwhile, the children are staying at a different location."

An Israeli official expressed shock at a comment made by Cardinal Renato Martino, the president of the Council for Justice and Peace who compared Gaza to a concentration camp:
"...Israel on Thursday harshly condemned the cardinal’s use of World War Two imagery. “We are a stounded that a spiritual dignitary would have such words, that are so far removed from truth and dignity,” said Yigal Palmor, a spokesman for the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
He added that it was “shocking to hear the vocabulary of Hamas propaganda coming from a member of the church.” But he denied that it would cause a diplomatic crisis. It “doesn’t change the nature of relations between Israel and the Holy See,” Mr. Palmor said.
The Vatican sought to downplay the cardinal’s remarks. The Vatican spokesman, Rev. Federico Lombardi, called Cardinal Martino’s choice of words “inopportune,” and said they created “irritation and confusion” more than illumination..."

President-elect Barack Obama broke his silence today on the Israel/Hamas-controlled Gaza conflict by expressing deep concern about civilian casualities on both sides.
"...Barack Obama, who takes over as U.S. president from George W. Bush on January 20, broke his silence about the violence in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, calling the loss of civilian lives in Gaza and in Israel a "source of deep concern for me."
Obama added -- only Bush should be the voice of U.S. foreign policy at this time but he would have plenty to say after his inauguration in two weeks.
Nonetheless, Obama said that he is "not backing at all from what I've said during the campaign we're going to engage effectively and consistently in the peace process." We've got plenty to say about Gaza, and on January 20, you'll hear directly from me," he added..."

A picture is worth a thousand words, isn't it?
NewsOk today reports Razi Hashmi of CAIR-OK who organized the rally, apologized for a sign with the swastika inside the Star of David.
"...The organization distributed rules before the demonstration that no offensive signs or banners would be tolerated, he said...The sign was removed a couple of minutes after the demonstration started and the man left without incident, Hashmi said. "The Star of David is a sacred symbol of faith and Muslims are stressed by Islam to respect all symbols of faith and I apologize,” Hashmi said. "This (sign) does not reflect our personal views.”
The sign is clearly visible in a video by Muskogee Politico as the people walked around in a circle after the rally started. In fact, take a real good look at all the signs and what they imply. The sign was also visible again in a follow-up video MP took.
It seems a number of signs did not meet the rules Hashmi claims were in place.

Note: zTruth recognizes there a many fine Muslims in America who simply want to practice their religion who also reject Islamism, or the pursuit of Islamic rule. This would include the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and their affiliates in the U.S..
When a Muslim or Islamic organization professes their strong community service and interfaith goals in cities and towns all across America, but then has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood - it's disturbing and two-faced.
