New Black Panther Party sued by Feds for voter intimidation on election day

On November 4th, I wrote about accounts of voter intimidation by the Black Panthers on election day in Philadelphia.  It was surprising to think these people were still around.

Now, their actions have resulted in a lawsuit being filed against them by the Department fo Justice:

"The Justice Department today filed a lawsuit under the Voting Rights Act against the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense and three of its members alleging that the defendants intimidated voters and those aiding them during the Nov. 4, 2008, general election.

The complaint, filed in the United States District Court in Philadelphia, alleges that, during the election, Minister King Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson were deployed at the entrance to a Philadelphia polling location wearing the uniform of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense, and that Samir Shabazz repeatedly brandished a police-style baton weapon.

"Intimidation outside of a polling place is contrary to the democratic process," said Acting Assistant Attorney General Grace Chung Becker. "The Voting Rights Act of 1965 was passed to protect the fundamental right to vote and the Department takes allegations of voter intimidation seriously."

According to the complaint, party Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz confirmed that the placement of Samir Shabazz and Jackson in Philadelphia was part of a nationwide effort to deploy New Black Panther Party members at polling locations on Election Day. The complaint alleges a violation of Section 11(b) of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which prohibits intimidation, coercion or threats against "any person for voting or attempting to vote." The Department seeks an injunction preventing any future deployment of, or display of weapons by, New Black Panther Party members at the entrance to polling locations."  DOJ Press Release

On the New Black Panther Party's very appealing  website an announcement states they have suspended the Philly chapter until further notice.

Looks like this party is trying to build up.

President-elect Obama said no contact with Gov. Rod Blagojevich, Axelrod said he did!

The governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, appears to be in big trouble for trying to sell Obama's vacated senate seat.

Today Barack Obama said, "I had no contact with the governor or his office, and so we were not — I was not aware of what was happening, and as I said it is a sad day for Illinois. Beyond that I don’t think it’s appropriate to comment.”

However, Nov. 23, Obama's senior advisor David Axelrod, on the local Fox TV affiliate in Chicago, said that he knows Obama has "talked to the Governor and there are a whole range of names, many of which have surfaced, and I think he has a fondness for a lot of them."

Today, after this story broke, Axelrod issued a statement saying his statement made on the 23rd of November was wrong.  Sure...

Woman assaulted and called racist for wearing Palin pin on election night

In what appears to be a hate crime, a young college woman in Minnesota was grabbed, punched and called a racist because she was wearing a Sarah Palin pin on election night:

An Augsburg College student says she was attacked and punched on election night, because of her support for Sarah Palin.

18-year-old Annie Grossmann tells KARE 11 she was assaulted after attending an election night party.

"They saw the pin and they started calling me racist, and I've never seen these girls before," said Grossmann.

Grossmann says 4 women confronted here, one of them grabbed her, began shouting at her, and wouldn't let her go.

"After about 5 minutes or so I just got really sick of it, just holding me there by force. So I kind of pushed her back and started walking away. She grabbed me by the shoulder, I turned around, and she punched me in the eye," she said.

Bruce Grossmann, her father, says the punch caused his daughter to hit her head on a wall behind her. He says she sought medical treatment for blurred vision. She missed a couple of days of hockey practice and may have suffered a slight concussion.

...Grossmann says it's not been easy voicing her support for the Republican Party at a liberal arts college. She did say most students have respected her political affiliation, but she's still shocked about election night.

Arab newspaper in London: Bin Laden planning US attack

There's a report that an Arab newspaper in London is claiming more attacks on U.S. are coming from Al-Qaeda, according to Australia's "The Age". 

I can't say the Arab article exists, for sure, because it is in Arabic, or if it does exist, if it's just boastful rhertoric or what.  This isn't from Al-Qaeda but from someone who claims he has inside information.

No major media has reported on this article (update 3 PM: Fox News is now reporting this):

"OSAMA bin Laden is planning an attack against the United States that will "outdo by far" September 11, an Arab newspaper in London has reported.

And according to a former senior Yemeni al-Qaeda operative, the terrorist organisation has entered a "positive phase", reinforcing specific training camps around the world that will lead the next "wave of action" against the West.

The warning, on the front page of an Arabic newspaper published in London, Al-Quds Al-Arabi- and widely reported in the major Italian papers - quotes a person described as being "very close to al-Qaeda" in Yemen."

The paper is edited by Abdel al-Bari Atwan, who is said to be the last journalist to interview Osama bin Laden in 1996. According to the report, bin Laden is himself closely following preparations for an attack against the US and aims to "change the face of world politics and economics". The operative is quoted as saying that "this will be shown by the fact that we now control a major part of the south of Somalia".

...The source also said that during the next few days the terrorist organisation may send a sign of its violent intentions.

...Security officials, The Telegraph reports, are convinced al-Qaeda cells will attempt another "spectacular" inside the UK with major transport centres, such as airports and train stations, the most likely targets.

Teacher in North Carolina belittles girl who supported John McCain

In an article in an North Carolina paper we learn the news got out about a North Carolina teacher's treatment of a school child from the Tundra Tabloids, a blog that's new to me.  In reading over this blog briefy it appears the Tabloids is at odds with Little Green Footballs.  I'm not sure what this is all about.

Anyway, the teacher, Dinatha Harris, was part of a Swedish documentary where the video is from, I believe.  She was selected partly because former President Bush, Sr. visited her home in 1992 after an invitation from her then-husband Roy Harris, who was serving on the Asheville City Board of Education, according to the Citizens Times.

And from a comment on YouTube below where this video is posted it said Diantha Harris used to work in Asheville - now works in Fayetteville at "Mary McArthur Elementary".  Principles name - Lola B Williams - school phone number is -(910) 424-2206.  School Superintendent William C. Harrison  910.678.2300.

A first: Iran sends congratulations to President-elect Obama

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has sent congratulations to Barack Obama.  No Iranian leader has done this since the Iranian takeover of the U.S. Embassy in 1979, I believe.

"I congratulate you on being able to attract the majority of votes of the participants of the election," Ahmadinejad said in a message to Obama carried by the official agency.

..."The great Iranian nation welcomes real, basic and fair changes in behaviour and policies, especially in this region," Ahmadinejad said, referring to the Middle East.

..."The US government's interference should be limited to that country's geographical boundaries," IRNA quoted Ahmadinejad as saying.

...Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has the final say on all key policy issues, has not yet commented on the result of the US election.

Last week the all-powerful leader said hatred of Washington was deep-seated, and he praised the Islamist students who took over the US embassy in 1979.

"Besides, they (the United States) have not apologised yet and rather keep on with their arrogant attitude," Khamenei said.

Oklahoma voters gave John McCain his biggest victory!

It was interesting to see that Oklahoma stood strong for John McCain in the presidential election giving him his biggest win with 65.6% of the vote.  In fact, according to News OK,  Obama didn't win a single county.

In addition to this, Republicans have a two member majority in the Senate for the first time in history and gained more seats in the House where they already were the majority.  Now there will be 61 Republican members, with Democrats dropping to 40 in the House.

These gains come after decades of control by Democrats.

Black Panther accused of intimidating voters in Philadelphia!

Fox News is interviewing a witness live, as I write this post.  A person dressed up as a Black Panther, holding a night stick, apparently said they were tired of White Supremacy was blocking or standing in the doorway area to this particular polling place.  He may have been trying to intimate voters from voting for John McCain, I guess but I'm not sure.   The witness was a young white man who called police. 

The police came and removed the man.  Another man in a Black Panther uniform is still standing outside the voting place, which I saw myself in the live report.  But he lives in the area and is, apparently,  a poll watcher. 

So I guess it is OK to wear a Black Panther uniform?  This is unbelievable.

I think I heard the man in the video below say this was at 1221 Fairmount in Philly.

The John McCain presidential team has sued the state election board in Virginia on Monday because absentee ballots were not mailed in a timely manner to military members overseas.  A hearing is set for this afternoon.

Gov. Sarah Palin exonerated in firing of commissioner

Good news:

"A new report just released -- hours before the polls open on Election Day -- exonerates Gov. Sarah Palin in the Troopergate controversy.

The state Personnel Board-sanctioned investigation is the second into whether Palin violated state ethics law in firing her public safety commissioner, and it contradicts the earlier findings by a special counsel hired by the state Legislature.

Both investigations found that Palin was within her rights to fire Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan.

But the new report says the Legislature's investigator was wrong to conclude that Palin abused her power by allowing aides and her husband, Todd, to pressure Monegan and others to dismiss her ex-brother-in-law, Trooper Mike Wooten. Palin was accused of firing Monegan after Wooten stayed on the job.

The Palins have argued that Wooten was a loose cannon who had tasered his stepson, drank beer in his patrol car, and threatened Palin's father, and that their complaints that he shouldn't be on the force were justified.

Rupert Murdoch warns Obama win may worsen the world financial crisis

"Global media tycoon Rupert Murdoch has warned that a win by Democratic hopeful Barack Obama in next week's US election could worsen the world financial crisis, a report said Saturday.

In an interview with The Weekend Australian, owned by Murdoch's News Corporation, the newsman said if the Democrats implemented protectionist policies it would be "a real setback for globalisation".

...But he warned that an increase in protectionism in the US as suggested by some Democrats in Congress, would risk retaliation from China and could threaten world trade.

"For the past three or four years, some Democrats have been threatening to do things like put on extra tariffs (against Chinese imports) if they don't change their currency," Murdoch said.

The Australian-born mogul, who controls media interests around the world, also criticised Obama's proposed tax policies which include granting rebates to most US workers.

"Forty percent (of the US population) don't pay taxes, so how can he give them a tax cut?" he said.

"But you can give them a welfare cheque which he has promised -- a grant of 500 dollars -- which will disappear very fast. It's not going to turn the economy around at all."

Why I won't vote for Barack Obama

The election is fast approaching.  Millions of Americans have pinned their hopes on change.  But what kind of change will we see under an Obama administration?  There's an old saying worth repeating here.  Be careful what you wish for.  After writing nearly 300 times about Barack Obama following countless hours researching him, my mind is made up. 

 

Hey, I'll be the first to admit, it's not hard to want to believe his words because he is so likeable and so engaging but here's why I won't vote for Barack Obama:

 

If elected, and the Congress remains strongly Democratic, Barack Obama will very likely return to his far-left liberal ways.  Power could be in the hands of liberals unlike what we have seen before in this country.  For example, Obama told community organizers, (video) last December they will be part of his transition team and will shape his presidency. Will he use price signals (video) to change behavor (i.e., taxes) like he said in 2007. Whose taxes will really be cut?  And I can't get it out of my mind when Obama's own VP pick said (video) he's not ready. I can see why.

 

I fear our terrorist laws will be watered down that have kept us safe for seven years.  Will this happen soon?  Probably.  Just watch if he is elected.  Democrats tend to befriend Islamists who have already convinced them not to use words like Islamic terrorism or Islamism, which critics argue will further aid the Islamists march forward. 

 

Obama will be the first president who broke a written pledge to take public financing.  This is pure dishonesty.  John McCain made the pledge, too, and kept his promise.  Therefore the money advantage Obama has is tainted.  His campaign, it seems, even allows pre-paid credit cards which are virtually untraceable paving the way for foreign nationals to give, including his own aunt who is in this country illegally.

 

Obama belonged to a church for TWENTY YEARS that practiced Black Liberation Theology which places them as victims of White Supremacy as the cornerstone of their version of Christianity.  He only threw his pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and his church under the bus in order to pander for votes.  But before he did, he called Rev. Wright his friend and mentor (video).  

 

Oh and guess what?  Bill Ayers' new book, which will be released next year, will be about White Supremacy, a view held by the Weather Underground and Rev. Wright.  What a coincidence.  These beliefs are foreign to me and it's so creepy.  For a fact sheet on Ayers and Obama go here.

 

In 1995, Barack Obama said politicians organize around race (video) or, in other words, they are racist, which fits in with his church polarizing views of America and Bill Ayers.  By the way, have you look into how bad things are in Chicago on the south side where Barack Obama worked and lives?   More people have been murdered in Chicago this year than in New York.  Where are the success stories about Barack Obama that has impacted Chicago or Illinois positively?  Could it be possible Black Liberation Theology victimizes people?  Hey, I'm just wondering.

 

He has associations with people, including Ali Albunimah who claims Obama came to many Palestinian events all the time and was against the Israel occupation.  Yet, Obama just merely shrugs them off thinking most of us will believe him.  Curiously, Obama's church published an article by Hamas in their bulletin and his pastor has written in opposition to Israel.  

 

Obama has campaigned (audio) for the 2nd Muslim elected to Congress, Andre Carson.  How interesting.  Obama also said the call to evening prayer in Islam is “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”  Have you heard the call to prayer?  If not go here where it was videod inside Mecca where non-Muslim are not allowed.

 

He has had associations with socialist groups and individuals.  He has campaigned for far left-leaning (socialist) Bernie Sanders and Danny Davis. Watch the video of Obama praising Sanders and Danny Davis - yet he just uses humor (video: I shared my peanut butter sandwich as a kindergartner) to deflect criticism.  For a worst case scenario watch a video here. Is it too far-fetched?  Maybe, but you do have to admit it does fit within the scope of his associations with socialist leaning people and organizations.

 

Here's something more you should know.  Barack Obama proposes a civilian security force (video) stronger and more powerful that our military.  Are you paying attention?

 

He supports illegals getting drivers licenses (video), Social Security, and citizenship.  Will they also serve in his civilian force?  Probably.

 

He will also require college students to perform 100 hours of community service.  Public service will be the cause of his presidency Obama has said.

 

He supports same sex marriage (video).  In two states where this is legal, school children have been forced to learn about homosexuality as early as kindergarten.  One parent who did not want his 5 year old exposed to this "diversity training" was arrested (video).  The vast majority of American believe the sanctity of marriage needs to be preserved for the future as between a man and a women for procreation.  It's firmly planted within our country's strong religious traditions.  Legal partnerships are a reasonable alternative for same sex partners.

 

Barack Obama's track record in the Senate is very thin.  He has spent twice as much time running for President than he did working as a U.S. senator in his first and only term.  See how left-leaning Chris Matthews nails Barack Obama's lack of achievements in this interview with the governor of New York.

 

Just so you know, plans are already in the works to bring down gradually his supporters who believed all his campaign rhetoric so they won't be too disappointed when he can't fulfill all his promises.  Everyone, you see, who wants Obama president are pinning their hope for change, not based on any evidence of his past deeds, but on his words only.  Good God, people we already know he breaks promises. 

 

Barack Obama, the savior, the messiah, THE ONE, is now asking his supporters to take the day off for HIM on November 4th.

On the other hand, here's a video worth watching from a conservative I admire.  And when I watched this video supporting John McCain, I see him encouraging Americans to stand up and fight for our country.  It made me tear up.

Much is at stake this elections.

Barack Obama supports same sex marriage

Californians will vote on Tuesday on Proposition 8 which will ban same sex marriages if it passes.   Barack Obama opposes this ban.

"And that is why I oppose the divisive and discriminatory efforts to amend the California Constitution, and similar efforts to amend the U.S. Constitution or those of other states," Obama wrote.

I would venture to say the vast majority of Americans support marriage as a union that should only be between a man and a woman.  Barack Obama joins the left in supporting gay marriages.

What other leftest ways will an Obama administration and a Democratic-led Congress try to impose on regular Americans?  You better think on this hard.

That's not to say same sex couples should'nt have partnership rights which is how Obama tapped danced around it in this video:

Project Islamic H.O.P.E. follows the teachings of the Holy Quran and the example of Prophet Muhammad.  In August, Najee Ali, the executive director was sentenced to prison.

The Imam for the Project Islamic H.O.P.E., was Wallace Deen Mohammed, aka Warith Deen Muhammad aka W.D. Muhammad and a a member of the Islamist group Nation of Islam, he is also an ex-con.   Mohammed passed away in September.

Zeituni Onyango was denied U.S. asylum 4 years ago and may have been ordered deported but she's living in Boston.

Furthermore, the Obama team denies foreign nationalshave helped fund his campaign despite reports they allow non-traceable credit cards where anyone can contribute.

Washington Times reporter kicked off Barack Obama's plane

In what may be another power play with the media, the Obama camp has kicked off a reporter from the Washington Times who has covered his campaign from day one.  The move came a couple days after the Times endorsed John McCain. 

The Washington Times, which has covered the Barack Obama campaign from the start, was kicked off the Democrat's campaign plane for the final 72 hours of the race.

The Obama campaign informed the newspaper Thursday evening of its decision, which came two days after The Times editorial page endorsed Senator John McCain over Mr. Obama. The Times editorial page runs completely independent of the news department.

This feels like the journalistic equivalent of redistributing the wealth, we spent hundreds of thousands of dollars covering Senator Obama's campaign, traveling on his plane, and taking our turn in the reporter's pool, only to have our seat given away to someone else in the last days of the campaign," said Washington Times Executive Editor John Solomon.

"I hope the candidate that promises to unite America isn't using a litmus test to determine who gets to cover his campaign."

The Times formally protested the decision, noting that it has one of the top 20 largest newspaper Web sites in the country, distributes its print edition in the key battleground state of Virginia, and has had its stories repeatedly cited by Mr. Obama and other Democrats throughout the campaign.

William Ayers book "Prairie Fire: The Politics of Revolutionary Anti-Imperialism" was written in 1974.  Many don't know that it was republished together with two other Weather Underground books as shown here in 2006. 

The book is a frightening insight into the mind of these former domestic terrorists who despise our country and, shockingly, are now teaching some of our college age children. 

One of the people Ayers dedicated his book when it was first published was Robert F. Kennedy's killer, Shiran Shiran, whom he called a U.S. political prisoner. 

One reviewer, Ron Jacobs said in 2004: "...Above all, "Prairie Fire -- was a call to organize. Once again identifying the enemy of the world's peoples as US imperialism, Weather stated their goal was to "attack imperialism's ability to exploit and wage war", and eventually build a socialist society in the US. To begin this process, Weather reiterated its original thesis that the empire must be weakened and at least partially destroyed. According to this thesis, the weakest links in the imperialist chain were the colonies. For that reason, claimed Weather (as they always had), it was the liberation of the third world that held the key to eventual liberation of the mother country (the United States)."

The last sentence of this review appears to be similar to the book titled "The Post American World"  that was read by Barack Obama.  How interesting.

Did you know the Prairie Fire Organizing Committee, a spin-off of the Weather Underground, exists today in Chicago?  It seeks to defeat U.S. imperialism and opposes White Supremacy.  WOW.  They appear to share similar views of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the pastor of the church where Barack Obama went for twenty years.  TWENTY YEARS.

Are you beginning to see the connection between Ayers and Barack Obama a little clearer or am I going crazy here?

If Obama wins, plans are to ease people down from his hope and change promises

Well, well well.  We all  knew this would eventually happen because Barack Obama promised nearly everything to everybody.  But for a story to come out on the eve of the election about plans to bring people down gently from Obama's campaign hype - is simply amazing. 

In the UK's Times Online they report Barack Obama’s senior advisers have drawn up plans to lower expectations for his presidency if he wins next week’s election, amid concerns that many of his euphoric supporters have unrealistic hopes of what he can achieve:

The sudden financial crisis and the prospect of a deep and painful recession have increased the urgency inside the Obama team to bring people down to earth, after a campaign in which his soaring rhetoric and promises of “hope” and “change” are now confronted with the reality of a stricken economy.

One senior adviser told The Times that the first few weeks of the transition, immediately after the election, were critical, “so there’s not a vast mood swing from exhilaration and euphoria to despair”.

...The early priorities being lined up if he takes power are a mixture of symbolism and substance. He plans to make a major address in a big Muslim country early in his first term. Having pledged on the campaign trail to close Guantanamo Bay, he is also determined to make early moves to rid America of the controversial prison..."

In Florida today, Obama already started the reality check by stating the "recession" is likely to be significant.  NBC, who interviewed him, said Obama’s use of the word “recession” indicated that he was deeply pessimistic about the state of the economy.

Oh, how those campaign lies can come back to bite you.  But this is super fast.

What a clever and humorous way Barack Obama handled accusations of his possible socialistic leanings by John McCain. It was so charming and cute!  But, it could be a mistake to let Obama's charm keep you from looking into this more. 

However, Barack Obama wrote in his book Dreams that he was drawn to Marxists professors during his college days.  Marxism is left of Socialism, in case you a wondering.

He wrote about it:

"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists."

Al Qaeda wants President Bush, Republicans humiliated!

Al Qaeda wants the American voters to unseat the tough line-in-the-sand approach President Bush took, which would likely be continued by John McCain, against Islamic terrorism. 

Has anyone even thought about what an all Democratic Congress and White House will do to water-down the laws in this country which are designed to prevent another terror attack? 

DUBAI (Reuters) - "...An al Qaeda leader has called for President George W. Bush and the Republicans to be "humiliated," with"O God, humiliate Bush and his party, O Lord of the Worlds, degrade and defy him," Abu Yahya al-Libi said at the end of sermon marking the Muslim feast of Eid al-Fitr, in a video posted on the Internet.

Libi, one of the top al Qaeda commanders believed to be living in Afghanistan or Pakistan, called for God's wrath to be brought against Bush equating him with past tyrants in history.

The remarks were the first comments from a leading al Qaeda figure referring, albeit indirectly, to the U.S. elections. Muslim clerics often end sermons by calling on God to guide and support Muslims and help defeat their enemies.

In 2004 al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden issued his first video in more than a year just days before the elections to deride President Bush and warn of possible new September 11-style attacks.

Barack Obama's campaign allows untraceable pre-paid credit cards

I believe Americans may be witnessing the biggest fraud in our history as it pertains to the massive and unprecedented amounts of money pouring in to Barack Obama's campaign possibly from those who are not allowed to contribute to a presidential election.  The unusally large amount of money collected, in a downturned economy of which Obama has made the central theme of his campaign, just doesn't add up now, does it?

From the Washington Post:

Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign is allowing donors to use largely untraceable prepaid credit cards that could potentially be used to evade limits on how much an individual is legally allowed to give or to mask a contributor's identity, campaign officials confirmed.

Faced with a huge influx of donations over the Internet, the campaign has also chosen not to use basic security measures to prevent potentially illegal or anonymous contributions from flowing into its accounts, aides acknowledged. Instead, the campaign is scrutinizing its books for improper donations after the money has been deposited.

The Obama organization said its extensive review has ensured that the campaign has refunded any improper contributions, and noted that Federal Election Commission rules do not require front-end screening of donations.

In recent weeks, questionable contributions have created headaches for Obama's accounting team as it has tried to explain why campaign finance filings have included itemized donations from individuals using fake names, such as Es Esh or Doodad Pro. Those revelations prompted conservative bloggers to further test Obama's finance vetting by giving money using the kind of prepaid cards that can be bought at a drugstore and cannot be traced to a donor.

The problem with such cards, campaign finance lawyers said, is that they make it impossible to tell whether foreign nationals, donors who have exceeded the limits, government contractors or others who are barred from giving to a federal campaign are making contributions.

"They have opened the floodgates to all this money coming in," said Sean Cairncross, chief counsel to the Republican National Committee. "I think they've made the determination that whatever money they have to refund on the back end doesn't outweigh the benefit of taking all this money upfront."

Barack Obama was late for many Foreign Relations meetings

Barack Obama's aunt, Zeituni Onyango, can't talk about him till after Nov 4th!

Why can't Barack Obama's beloved aunt, who lives in Boston, talk about him until after the election?  How strange is that?  Anyway, an intersting story about this is in the UK's Times Online.  How odd, no American paper did an article about her. It also appears that another Obama relative, his "Uncle Omar" who Obama wrote about in one of his books was evicted from his Boston apartment in 2000. 

Is it just me or does it appear Obama's "spread the wealth" rhetoric doesn't apply to his personal life and relatives whom he wrote so dearly about in his book?

"...Zeituni Onyango, the aunt so affectionately described in Mr Obama’s best-selling memoir Dreams from My Father, lives in a disabled-access flat on a rundown public housing estate in South Boston.

...A second relative believed to be the long-lost “Uncle Omar” described in the book was beaten by armed robbers with a “sawed-off rifle” while working in a corner shop in the Dorchester area of the city. He was later evicted from his one-bedroom flat for failing to pay $2,324.20 (£1,488) arrears, according to the Boston Housing Court.

Speaking outside her home in Flaherty Way, South Boston, on Tuesday, Ms Onyango, 56, confirmed she was the “Auntie Zeituni” in Mr Obama’s memoir. She declined to answer most other questions about her relationship with the presidential contender until after the November 4 election. “I can’t talk about it, I just pray for him, that’s all,” she said, adding: “After the 4th, I can talk to anyone.”

...Before he went to America we all knew him as Omar, but he dropped that bit, changing it to Obama Onyango, because he said he preferred his African name,” he (George Onyango) said. Gail Greenberger, the landlady who bought the four-storey brick block of flats at a foreclosure sale in 1994, knew her tenant, however, by the name Obama Onyango. “We used to call him ‘Oh-bummer!’. That is how I pronounced Obama in 2000,” she said.

...Aunt Zeituni and Uncle Omar are the children of Mr Obama’s grandfather Hussein Onyango Obama, by his third wife – the woman Mr Obama calls “Granny” because she raised his father. Mr Obama’s father, Barack Sr, was Onyango Obama’s son by his second wife, Akumu. That makes Zeituni and Omar a half-sister and half-brother of Mr Obama’s father, or Mr Obama’s half-aunt and half-uncle.

...The Obama campaign was repeatedly approached for comment yesterday but had not responded at the time of going to press. It is not clear whether Mr Obama has been in touch with his African relatives living in the US, or even whether he is aware that they are on US soil.

UPDATE 11/01/08:  It now has been confirmed Obama's aunt is in America illegally. She also made an illegal contribution to his campaign (illegal foreign nationals cannot contribute).  Obama said he didn't know. 

You know like he didn't know Rev. Wright spoke with such hate against America or  about Whites even though being a victim of White Supremacy is the crux of Black Liberation theology, or that he was just 8 when Ayers was bombing others - except his group's reign of terror went on for a number of years.  Or that Ayers upcoming new book will be about White Supremacy or that the Weather Wnderground was rooted in communism and Marxism.  You know, that kind of "I didn't know" stuff.

This is probably the tip top of the iceberg regarding illegals contributions made to Barack Obama's campaign.

Ali Abunimah, co-founder of Electronic Intifada, talks about pro-Palestinian Barack Obama

This video clip is short and was of a January 25, 2008 interview with Democracy Now.  Abunimah, a Palestinian activist and constituent of former state senator Barack Obama, discussed Obama's past support for pro-Palestinian causes.  In March of this year,  I wrote about Abunimah recollection of Obama in "Barack Obama's about-face on the Palestinian cause."

The picture shown in the video, Barack Obama and his wife are seated at the same table with Edward Said, a very well known and controverisal pro-Palestinian figure and professor and Columbia University.

Abunimah said Barack Obama was very comfortable opposing Israeli occupation which matches Rev. Jeremiah Wright's view of Israel, as well. 

It is also important to remember Barack Obama willingly stayed in a church for 20 years whose Christian believes were based on Black Liberation Theology, which builds the Bible around being surpressed by White supremacy.

Barack Obama trust shattered with broken public financing promise

Barack Obama is a down and dirty politician.  Last November he pledged to take public campaign financing and work alongside the Republican candidate in this regard.  He didn't keep his word.  HE BROKE A PROMISE!  This speaks directly to hischaracter.

This unprecedented money he has raised as a result of his broken pledge, has allowed him to buy time for a 30 minute talk tonight on several major TV channels.  Imagine my surprise to learn that CNN, who  lost me as a regular viewer in the last few months because of their strong, strong oozing bias towards Barack Obama, has decided to turn down the opportunity to air his 30 minute infomerical.   Good for them.

All the money that poured in to Obama's campaign via the Internet when the economy tanked clearly has defied logic.  It doesn't help that Obama is not being fully transparency with all his donors, either.  As a result, the RNC has filed a complaint with the FEC.

Not only is CNN not going to air his 30 minute appeal for votes, Campbell Brown has written a commentary about his broken promise.  She said "...One year ago, he made a promise. He pledged to accept public financing and to work with the Republican nominee to ensure that they both operated within those limits...The Washington Post pointed out recently that the bad economy has meant a cash shortage among the 527s and that this election year they have been far less influential...On this issue today, former Sen. Bob Kerrey of Nebraska, an Obama , writes in The New York Post, "a hypocrite is a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue -- who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings. And that, it seems to me, is what we are doing now..."

527s didn't get all the cash they wanted to help their man get elected?  Yet Obama's cash keeps pouring in - it doesn't add up.  Everybody is suffering from the economic nose-dive except Barack Obama.

Obama may win the election but he did it on a broken promise and therefore with tainted money.  Furthermore, his campaign bans TV stations who dared to ask tough questions of Joe Biden and has even tried to strong-arm a few radio stations from having certain guests on that are critical of Obama. 

Is the love affair with him by the media starting to crack?   If so, it's long overdue.

1995 Video: Barack Obama said politicians organize around race!

In 1995, Barack Obama called politicians racists, claiming they organize around race, and then he goes on to praise Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who, as we all know now,  just so happens to be very racist against Whites:

I found a video on Gateway Pundit where Barack Obama praised one-time New Party member Danny Davis in 2004.  New Party has been described as a socialists/Marxist type organization.

Also according to Gateway, the New Party, ACORN and Project Vote shared the same address in New York.  The New Party's current website list this address.

There is more information you can review at Gateway about the New Party and Barack Obama.  My posts about Obama's possible socialist/Marxist-leanings prompted me to create a new category called Socialism and Marxism where these posts can be reviewed.

Lastly, there's an archived document found by zTruth at youdecide2008 which lists Danny Davis and Barack Obama as New Party members in the New Party News published by New Party Committee in 1996.

In addition, another archived page for New Ground Issue 47, a publication of the Chicago Democratic Socialists of America states that Barack Obama and Danny Davis attended a New Party membership meeting and Obama asked NPers to join his task forces on Voter Education and Registration!

"...All four candidates attended the NP membership meeting on April 11th to express their gratitude. Danny Davis, winner in the 7th Congressional District, invited NPers to join his Campaign Steering Committee. Patricia Martin, who won the race for Judge in 7th Subcircuit Court, explained that due to the NP she was able to network and get experienced advice from progressives like Davis. Barack Obama, victor in the 13th State Senate District, encouraged NPers to join in his task forces on Voter Education and Voter Registration...."

Barack Obama's Fight the Smears page claims the New Party endorsement was nothing since Obama ran unopposed which appears to conflict with the documents linked to above.

Obama's statement may also conflict with an archived New Party page which states an endorsed candidate had to sign a pledge to have at least one New Party member on the candidate's campaign committee, be publicly identified with the New Party and join the party as a dues-paying New Party member.  A big caveat here is the archived page is dated in 1999 (see web address) and is not the year of Obama's endorsement and likely membership with the New Party, which was 1996.  If only we could find an archived page of this contract from 1996, if it exists.

UK to publish list of banned hate preachers, including Louis Farrakhan

A new decision by UK security officials to publish a list of banned hate-preachers was a smart move.  According to this report and another, Louis Farrakhan is on the list and has been banned for 12 years. 

Earlier this year,  Farrakhan, the one-time leader of the Nation of Islam, supposedly called Barack Obama the Messiah (of Islam?) before a large audience of Muslims.  But did any main-stream media report on this?   In an ABC report at the time, no mention was made of his Messiah statement only that Farrakhan spent most of the nearly two-hour speech praising the Illinois senator and said Barack Obama was the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better. 

So many clues - so little time...

Preachers of hate banned from entering Britain are to be named and shamed as part of tough new measures on extremists.

The Sunday Mirror has learned 230 people have been excluded from entering Britain since 2005 - but none have been publicly named by the authorities.

Hate preachers Omar Bakri Mohammed and Louis Farrakhan only became known about when they spoke out against the decisions.

Home Secretary Jacqui Smith is expected to announce the tough new measures this week. They are aimed at preventing anybody who stirs up religious or racial hatred from entering the UK.

The new rules will allow the Home Office to ban Islamic extremists, neo-Nazis... and even animal rights activists. Those named will also be put on international "watch lists".

Video of Barack Obama toasting PLO operative, Rashid Khalidi, being withheld by LA Times

Previously, I've written about some of the worrisome associations of leading presidential candidate, Barack Obama, including one with Rashid Khalidi who in 1986 dedicated his book , Under Siege: P.L.O. Decision-Making During the 1982 War, to Yasser Arafat, according to the linked source. Khalidi now heads the Middle East Studies Department at Columbia.  Go figure.

In an article last April in the LA Times, we learn there is a video tape of Barack Obama attending and toasting the former alleged PLO operative at a going-away dinner in 2003.  This video is being held, or should we say withheld, by the L.A. Times.  I actually overlooked this statement in the article in an earlier post linked above but thanks to the astute work of Gateway Pundit this information is now being fully exposed.

Little Green Footballs also informs us William Ayers and his wife and fellow domestic terrorist were in attendance at this dinner, as well.  Gee, do you think they may have sat at the same table?

Update 10/28/08 6:50 PM:  John McCain demands LA Times release tape:

"A major news organization is intentionally suppressing information that could provide a clearer link between Barack Obama and Rashid Khalidi," said McCain spokesman Michael Goldfarb, citing Obama's friendship with Khalidi, who is now a professor at Columbia University.

UPDATE 10/30/08 7:53 AM:   Several well-known blogs are carrying what appears to be excerpts from the video posted by Doug Ross, who got an e-mail from a reliable source (in the past) who claims to have seen the video.

I look at it this way, if this is NOT true then the L.A. Times should release the tape to prove them wrong.  If it is true, they will not release it and will keep stonewalling.  Take it with a grain of salt:

"Saw a clip from the tape. Reason we can't release it is because statements Obama said to rile audience up during toast. He congratulates Khalidi for his work saying "Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine" plus there's been "genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis."

It would be really controversial if it got out. That's why they will not even let a transcript get out."

"Rashid Khalidi, the Edward Said professor of Arab studies at Columbia University, has gained notice for his extremist views on Israel, including recent profiles in both the New York Times and The Washington Post. That extremism comes out when he calls Israel an "apartheid system in creation" and a "racist state" that "brainwashed" Americans do not understand. Jerusalem, with its Jewish majority since the 1880s, he deems "an Arab city" whose control by Israeli "foreigners" is "unacceptable." And so on...

...According to Thomas L. Friedman of the New York Times, writing on June 9, 1982, Mr. Khalidi was at that time "a director of the Palestinian press agency." That would be Wikalat al-Anba al-Filastinija, or WAFA, the PLO press agency, where Mr. Khalidi's wife, Mona, was chief English-language editor in 1976-82. Mr. Friedman quotes Mr. Khalidi in his official capacity saying that the Israelis are out to "crush the P.L.O."

WFTV station ask VP candidate Joe Biden tough questions - Obama camp bans TV station!

This story, along with several others, appear to be serious red-flags for Americans about how an Obama administration could stop hard questions on tough issues or conduct in the future. I wonder, though, if anyone is paying attention.

 In Florida, WFTV's Barbara West interviewed VP candidate Joe Biden.  She didn't ask him the normal soft-ball questions the left-leaning media had been asking him or Barack Obama.  Instead, she asked a tough question relating to Obama's "spread the wealth" statement and Marxism.  And guess what?  It made the Obama team so mad they banned the TV station from future interviews!  

Anytime, a candidate or official believes they are above tough questions, it's most worrisome.  My hat goes off to this TV station and reporter Barbara West for not doing what most of the national media does.

The Obama camp retaliates:

"This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election," wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign, according to the Sentinel.

Are foreign nationals making contributions to Barack Obama's campaign?

Doesn't it seem odd to you that in this scary economic times, Barack Obama has collected well over $400 million dollars?  It defies the tanking of our economy.

As a result,  Obama is spending tons more than John McCain - but this money is tainted.  First, Barack Obama broke a written pledge to take campaign financing from the federal government which would have limited spending to $84 million dollars.  John McCain, on the other hand, has kept his pledge.

Secondly, there are concerns being raised about the legality of some of the money collected. 

Oh, boy, this could get very interesting:

"The Republican National Committee on Thursday supplemented its Oct. 6 complaint to the Federal Election Committee and — citing new revelations by Newsmax and other news organizations — called on the FEC to “immediately conduct a full audit” of the Obama campaign accounts.

The RNC complaint asserts that the Obama campaign had demonstrated a “lack of compliance with the law” because of its acceptance of prohibited donations from foreign nationals, excessive contributions from individuals, and donations from unknown sources.
